If you're going to do scholarship, please do. Don't come and be unfortunate. Conduct future tests and interviews in good time so that we the not so lucky ones can find our level.....not leaving us stranded at the last minute.

Are you now comparing Nddc experience to ptdf ? The two are parallel organizations. They can't meet by measuring them. The problem with ptdf was because of the late passage of budget, and more so, federal character must be considered.

Yes I agree with you. I don't intend to stay put there cos I've been there, done that, got the T-shirt, wore a hole in it, and now use it as a duster. Nevertheless, it is to the advantage of a scholar to get at least a year of OPT so that upon returning with a foreign experience, he/she would have a competitive edge here where jobs are hard to get.

The truth is, PTDF never serious in their policy. The scholar certificate will not be issued directly to him/her but would be sent to PTDF. Its PTDF that would organise a colourful ceremony in honouring your achievement. Thereafter fix you up to your primary assignment. That's how it should have been but regrettably, you are getting from the national cake. So it is your luck to escape wherever you want.

A scholar told me 1200 as at then. Based on your attachment, it seems they have increased monthly stipend to 1550

It means you have a baby n husband in the realm which isn't a good dream. This can cause problem of having children or having difficulty in marriage. I would advised you do deliverance, very necessary.

You shouldn't be surprised to see PhD students here. A 20 year old kid can be admitted to PhD straight in the US after finishing college without MSc. And in Nigeria, increasingly many young people with MSc today are going for PhD cos they are no jobs. While it should be expected for them to act more maturedly, it's not a given.

Still, I agree with your comment about the guy comparing people fallaciously and trying to sway people subliminally towards divulging their competitive advantage.

Don't get me wrong. What I mean was: Hardly you see them here to comment but was surprised seeing them asking questions here. I have been following everything from day one, so I know those guys who have identified theirselves as phd applicants.
