I am just wondering do you think GEJ or any non northerners presidential aspirant will campaign in the crises stricken states like Borno etc in 2015?
Actually, GEJ and even Sambo avoided some states now due to BH. Will they have the gut to take their campaigns there if eventually they are to re contest in 2015...just thinking...

@poster, its always not easy leaving a loved one for even a week not to talk of months.
I once had similar experience.
Mine was that me and my wife got married in 2004, had our first daughter in 2005. We were always everywhere together, and have lived abroad for years before we relocated finally in 2007 back to Nigeria to establish some businesses.
In 2008, my wife decided to go to france for a short Dance course which will make her stayed away for 6 months and it was at the time I had a consultancy work back in New York. It was a serious challenge for us most especially what we will be doing with our 3 year old daughter. We pondered over it for weeks and agreed that we should make the sacrifice as long as its for our future and the future of our daughter.
I left for NY dec 2008 and she left for france Jan 2009, and our daughter was put in care of my elder brother. It was a very emotional, painful experience each time I call my brother to speak with my daughter and she kept askind "dad, where are, where is my mummy" I remember I shed tears sometimes. Same experience was with my wife, we felt so far apart and missed each other so much. It was a very expensive mission as we spent so much on recharge cards.
To cut a long story short, she came back July 2009 and I also returned Sept. We all reunited again and we were very happy and never regretted we took that decision as we are enjoying the fruits of that sacrifice till today.
Just keep strong, trust yourselves, keep in touch over phones always, but most importantly, weigh all options to know if truly the sacrifice you are making will commensurate the objectives and future.

I have been wondering for some times why our politicians love to be hailed by all manners of names and signs no matter what the name is, they are always happy if the name is to make people around them respect them.
I was in a friends daughter's graduation yesterday and one of the Local Govt Chairman arrived and everyone was hailing 'The Chair!!, The Chair!!!!n The Chiar!!!!" And he was sooo happy by the recognition as The chair. He used almost 30 mins shaking hands around for everyone to know he is truly "the chair".
