flokii: Nigeria is far better than most of those developed countries our people run to.. It's when they get there and see the way things are that they start coming to terms with the fact that 'no place like home'.
While soms are able to "make it" and live fine, most find it difficult to survive and end up in shelter homes, low cost areas or hostels. I know guys that were given birth to in UK that still complain talk more of japa geng selling everything to move abroad. absolutely true.I feel it's the fear of the unknown and there is nothing that you will tell them that will make them listen.just wish them well in their exploration. |

Wagwanbrethren: Lol. This is not only a UK problem. Housing prices have been on the rise for a number of years and show no signs of slowing down. It is becoming increasingly difficult for people to afford a home, especially in large cities. While there are a number of reasons for this, one of the main drivers is the increasing cost of housing.
Homes are becoming more and more expensive to build and this is being passed on to the consumer. In addition, there is a limited supply of housing available and this is pushing prices up. Another reason for the high cost of housing is that people are investing in property as a way to secure their financial future.
As the cost of housing continues to increase, it is becoming increasingly difficult for people to afford a home. This is having a negative impact on the economy, as people are forced to spend more of their income on housing, which leaves less money for other things.
There are a number of ways to address the high cost of housing. One solution is to build more homes, which will increase the supply and help to bring prices down. Another solution is to provide more support for people who are struggling to afford a home.
Ultimately, the high cost of housing is a problem that needs to be addressed. If nothing is done, it will only become increasingly difficult for people to afford a home, which will have a negative impact on the economy. you nailed it. |

robosky02: I've not seems team from division 2 move to NPFL And win it straight
E no easy its not easy but I think Dolphins of Portharcourt did it before if I am not mistaken.looking at the likely top 6,none has gone unbeaten so insurance is a team to beat now.financially they are well motivated and the boys are young and ready to make name for themselves.dont write them off . |

Insurance are like arsenal...
The Nigerian man city is coming Insurance are not like Arsenal they are Three times WAFU champions and are CAF champions too.The players are well paid.No be beans to go 15 matches unbeaten. They will win the league or come out second.mark this space. |

robosky02: @guobe:
Do you know that
1. Rivers united of. Nigeria and. Young African of Tanzania have meet 3 times
2. Rivers united have won 2 times while Young Africans won once
3. Rivers united won home and away in the CAF champions league in 2021
First leg in Tanzania we won 1-0 Returned leg in Nigeria we won 1-0
12 sept and 19 Sept. 2021
4 their last game in uyo is there first winning
5. Why they won
Rivers united is used to playing there games mostly 5pm but the last game was put at 2pm by CAF when the sun was very hot and it became an advantage to them which aidede their victory.@Robosky I quite agree with you but structurally our league is lagging behind.Broadcast right which is where clubs should get money from is poor or non existent. The crowds apart from the Northern part of Nigeria and some South West states don't attend stadiums.Rivers United hardly have fans coming to watch them even in Portharcourt. The Nigerian league needs massive revamp in order to contest with the Tanzanians and North African teams as they are steps ahead of us presently. |

Young African of Tanzania came to Nigeria and at the uyo township stadium easily defeated the Nigerian champions Rivers United by two goals to nil.watching the match on DSTV I was quite disappointed that a Tanzanian club will beat a Nigerian club and had to do a little research on the Tanzanian league structure. I found out that the Tanzanian league is well run and that there are two major clubs in Tanzania,Simba and Young Africans.stadiums are always filled to capacity when these two clubs are in a Derby match of more than 60,000 capacity. The broadcast channel Azam interviews people like two weeks prior the match up to the security men of both clubs and the broadcast right is worth 97 million dollars 10 year deal. Before the league kicks off the clubs do alot of charity works to its communities and the communities in turn takes these soccer clubs as their own passionately.Qualificatio for CAF champions league is now normal unlike in the Nigerian scene where we are finding it difficult to qualify.Overall the Nigerian authorities should learn from the Tanzanian league so as to improve its shortcomings as what we have now is presently not up to standard. |
