VeeVeeMyLuv: it is very bad situation almost everywhere, and every person in the country is feeling and having a taste of that badness!
Banks and "bank" now can no longer afford to run their Air conditioners in this period of serious heat when it is needed most. Everywhere is just hot.
Before, that is some years back, when we step in to a bank hall, it is as if you step into a giant fridge. our banks are no longer banks again, they are now money joints.Their workers are no longer motivated.just hanging on.who do naija like dis omaseo. |

Praxis758: The cabals are not our problem. Our major problem is individual indiscipline.
You may have your best brains manning sensitive positions, but may end up messing things up by using the positions for their selfish advantage.
Those western countries built their systems on strong institutions that are independent. Those strong institutions are the catalysts that check the excesses of strong men/individual regardless of power, position, intellect, fame and background.
Ours is a society where the strong men dictate for the institutions, thereby taking us back to the 'pre-stone age' setting. It can only take the effort of a thoroughly disciplined leader to build and encourage institutions to be effective.
Such a leader must start the cleansing from his family, friends, political party, religion/denomination and tribes. These aforementioned factors are the tendencies that had messed up our precious leaders. They lacked the courage to make their party members, religion/denomination members, families and associates as scale goats whenever any of them erred.
I've studied the sociology of modern advanced countries and see that their citizens are not angels, but the strong institutions that leadership in those countries have encouraged over the years is their winning formula.
We can learns from Trump as a president, he had the blood to become a sit-tight president, but the strong institutional values in the US won't allow that. A man like trump would have used his business associates to sponsor media attack, uses religion and political affiliations to polarise the country if it were to be in Nigeria. quite educative, intellectual brilliance at its peak.we indeed need strong institutions but who is ready to bell the cat. |

Stevenson1: If we keep giving excuses then we would never make it. We have to unite and fight the corruption. That's the only way government listens. If the citizens don't have one voice, then they would never listen. The citizens are disillusioned, they have lost hope, everybody is suffering and smiling,I won't blame them, the scars from the past still haunts them. |

Stevenson1: When we the masses starts electing right and protesting for the things we care about. The problem is not the politicians, the problem is the masses who won't elect a visionary leader. but you know the right people won't be allowed to rule by the Godfathers them.if you are not loyal to the Godfathers shishi no go reach your hand.its that bad. |

WHEN WE MAKE MERIT AND CREDIT OUR WATCH WORDS. will they allow merit, when last did you see them advertising for employment and people are taken on merit.we just have to call a spade a spade, the country needs reorientation,it is all man for himself and his family, nobody cares about other people, their own is make I enter go collect my own which is totally wrong. You are a public servant, you are suppose to work for the people not Lord over them. |

Praxis758: We will finally get it right the day we have a leader/president who is thoroughly disciplined above board, courageous to challenge the status quo, lead by character, competent to take bold steps and capacity to design and redirect.
Those we've had in the past are jokes and the present crops are clowns when are we going to have that leaader, the best brains don't go into politics ,they all jakpa to Canada,America,UK and other developed countries.Even if they take part in politics they are frustrated by the cabals who have held this country spell bound for years. They cabals have secured the money bags and their children will rule us when they are no longer there.its just a pity. |

I am an optimistic Nigerian and I want Nigeria to be a great country that we are all proud of and the envy of other countries that they will like to come and stay and be happy living here. But from all indications,we are not getting it right.Take the power sector for an example, when we were kids we use to say NEPA is an epileptic entity, but what we have now is just nothing to write about.onecan hardly sleep in the night, there is heat everywhere, the kids are sweating and can barely sleep too.cant this power situation be fixed once and for all. They should tell us how much it costs to fix the power situation ,we are ready all Nigerians will donate the money to fix it provided the money will not be embezzled yet again.God help us in this country. To fuel generator set is another issue as the price of fuel has gone up.An average Nigerian is frustrated,if you see an average Nigerian smiling, that person deserves a Ballondoor award.Nawa. |

MITCHELL96: I saw it, Weak league, nothing nothing!
Aren't they ashamed to use Champions league match ?
I just pity teams like 3SC, Remo Stars this other team that are in NNL, Vandrezzer FC, these are the only 3 clubs extremely trying to be professional in an unprofessional league like Nigerian league, dem for just register for South African league, NFF should just remove that P in NPFL, because I don't see any Professionalism in the so called league
Fan base is war and violence they know how to display, the only club to play a league match in the night in the history of NPFL is 3SC, they're just so outstanding, they have good pitch, good stadium, good lightings, good management, good players and also wonderful fanbase that normally turn up for their matches.
So, can't other clubs implement this too ? Can't the league develop to the extent we have our own balls, and also sponsors coming from abroad ?
Must it be all these chickens change sponsors that they can't even use the money to develop their stadiums or any other thing ?
Can't they be Youth academies too ? Must they be buying old old papas claiming to be 18 years ?
As a Footballer, I can't play in NPFL, Na waste of time and energy, I want to feel the real atmosphere of Football, and it's the fans that brings that atmosphere, without fans, football is nothing, same to musicians too I feel your pain guy. |

When I say Nigerian sports administrators are still in the stone age ,some people don't usually think so.The sports administrators in Nigeria are only interested in wearing babariga and junketting the continent for their own pocket. In a Nigerian league match played yesterday, the UEFA champions league ball was used. These guys running our football are so pathetic. This is 2022 and we still don't have our league shown on TV.its just a pity.photo culled from brillasports
