Betrayal isn't the issue. The dude is right, Ndigbo had no push to re-election GEJ. Jonathan focus his attention on the north by appointments to key military and ministerial positions and in infrastructural development. Apart from Okonjo-Iweala, Ihejirika whom he push out as army chief after northern protest as well as Stella Oduah who was also removed, GEJ showed insensitivity to the SE. The Deputy speaker position Ihedioha got was by gra-gra with Tambuwal. The chief useless post we got was just SGF, Deputy Senate and Finance minister. Never wonder why Ndigbo felt reluctant to re-election him. Some SE elites like Peter Obi who should have joined the merger with Rochas to strike a deal with APC's Buhari as a leverage made sure the party was demonized all for in the sake of VP position after GEJ 2md term. But the masses , Catholic clergymen and personalities weren't happy with him but they still showed solidarity. However They was no push to talk behind him.They felt that his people the SS and his friends the north should carry the cross on their head. The turnout was poor and PDP have still not learnt anything from that foolishness, which is neglect Ndigbo at your own peril.

During the last election, ibos felt reluctant to vote for Jonathan coz they felt he didn't do anything for the eastern region , and also couldn't vote against him in favor of the dullard. So most people didn't turn up for the election. There was high regret from the ibos after Jonathan conceded defeat.

You don't get it, do you? The east has pledged allegiance to PDP and that's where it missed it. Parties should fight to have your region, not you fighting to have parties. Now, everyone on God's green planet knows the worst Igbos can do is boycott the election. Politically, the Igbos have it but analytically, it isn't a wise choice. The SS or W is reasonable to obtain maximum votes. The Igbos talk to much without actions. Surprise these parties once and see how you'd become the centre of attention rather than pledge allegiance and get taken for granted.

Even if SE wins the VP slot, it has much more to lose as PDP would try to buy a liberal SW over as soon as they get to power and eventually neglect SE. Johnathan did that to the North but still lost everything. That's the nature of man and not politics alone.
