Yes, lately all I do is look at profile pictures of all our ladies here. All I do is just laugh. There is one of our moderators that do change her profile pics every five minutes as if she is contesting for Miss Nairaland, though she claims she is hooked/married. I won't mention her name but guys, you know who am talking about because her thread is always on front page. She is thick... (continue in PEJ) Back to the matter, I met this lady back in my 100 level days in a taxi on our way back to town from school. I saw the same question paper we wrote that day GST 101 it's general course for all 100 level students. I love everything about her the moment I sat by her side in the taxi. I queried her, did you write that paper, she said yes. I love the voice and her innocent look. We started talking about the exam till we got to her bus stop. I paid her fare but she was reluctant to step out of the car, I did and I waited for her. Finally she did step out it was then I noticed she is limping. Hmmmmmm I laughed in my mind, see gobe but I didn't show it.... Jambito things... Things didn't work out but six years after graduation we met again. Then I asked her why is she always acting each time I visit her,she said she is a Virgin back then and always afraid of boys.. Maybe what her mum told her before she left home. But honestly already in my mind, I have taken her for who she is but things did not work out cos she acted in a way that pissed me off. |
Same here. Not showing |

Dear Babyosisi, Since you said you need mature nairalanders advice, let me write few lines. Am a typical yoruba man so if my sentences doesn't look like those ivy league university graduates, don't blame me but just try to use your Nigerian mentality to digest what am trying to say. Thank God you are overseas where everyone is 'almost' treated as equal. There are some bosses here in Nigeria that you can't even tweaked half of what the Oyinbo has in mind for you from you cos she felt you are trying to outshine her. Had it been it is here in Nigeria, your posting letter will be reading Maiduguri to go and face Boko Haram victims.... ![]() You sounds like someone on to of her game but please watch your back. There are enemies of progress every where. Please talk to your boss the way your mentor advised. Let her have that special feeling like your boss cos your presence is like a threat to her. Let me close with the words of my former Admin manager You are on your own... Just do what will make you happy but at times you need people from afar to evaluate you! Be calm and put yourself in her shoe. Lastly I remember a contest Organised by Globacom 'Glo Campus Storm' during my university days, those rappers from the next polytechnic sang better than my school guys but we don't want them to outshine us, we voted for our university student and he won the contest. It happens every where. May God's grace and favour continue to locate us amen. That's all we need. |

Where is your location? |
I just came into Suleja this afternoon. I did not even notice any thing. Everything was normal in terms of movement of people and vehicles Even I went out to hang out with friends along Kaduna Road... |
