selemempe: lol exactly. Nigeria's nxt civil war will definitely be a free for all and would threaten international peace...then u.n will step in to negotiate a settlement and break up of the country
Dont expect a repeat of 1967...middle belt and west will not join u again to kill igbos...let the chaos continue...it will snow ball to a sudan or somalia level Good luck to you as you start the next civil war. The experience of Sudan and Eritria are still fresh in our memories. |
Politics › Re: IPOB Attack: Igbos Can’t Be Trusted With Presidency- Junaid Mohammed by gwarotango: 7:50pm On Aug 22, 2019 |
selemempe: well the legality of the current constitution can be debated in international court to get international backing to our claim that the nigeria we willingly signed up for in 1960 is not the nigeria of today It cannot. Nigeria is a sovereign nation and so cannot be dictated to by any foreign entity. This has been the norm in international law for centuries. The international community only intervenes in the internal affairs of a country if and only if there's reason to believe that conditions there constitute a threat to international peace and order. Sorry to burst your bubble but the UN can't get you a referendum, only Nigerians collectively can do that. |

successmatters: "If it walks like a dog, barks like a dog and looks like a dog, it's most probably a dog".
In 1966, fulani mobs killed many pregnant women and cut open their bowels. Since then no other recorded cases of such by any tribe and now the same crimes are happening where cow herders are located. The same people will be the most likely culprits. You typed this trash so as to get likes from the nairaland IPOB miscreants community |

Politics › Re: IPOB Attack: Igbos Can’t Be Trusted With Presidency- Junaid Mohammed by gwarotango: 6:03pm On Aug 22, 2019 |
gidgiddy: Somebody should remind Junaid Mohammed that Northerners slaughtered over 50,000 Igbos in 1966 alone
Northerners have conducted more coups than anybody in Nigeria
Northerners have conducted more acts of terrorism than anybody in Nigeria such Maitasine, Boko Haram, Gana militants, and of course, killer herdsmen.
Yet Northerners have held power longer than anybody in Nigeria!
So if the pushing about of Ekweremadu in Germany is his benchmark compared to what Northerners like him have done in the past, it would be evil for a Northerner to even think of power This figure is in dispute. Ojukwu claimed a number far lesser than it |
Politics › Re: IPOB Attack: Igbos Can’t Be Trusted With Presidency- Junaid Mohammed by gwarotango: 5:59pm On Aug 22, 2019 |
Ctorch: Alright, let both the decent and non decent Igbos decide what they want instead of all these repetition every year.
Democratic resolution by referendum can end this lack of trust. A referendum is illegal under the current constitution, what you should have called for is a constitutional amendment to insert a referendum clause into it but you cannot get that by beating up politicians of course |

Injiggerwolf: Ministers DON'T book appointment with the Commander in Chief, the president availability can only be channel to the Principal Permanent Secretary not Chief of Staff. Chief of Staff only make operations available prior to the President's decision on any matter and sometimes offer advice Not true. Every person employed in the presidency answers to the COS with probably an exception being the SGF. |

Its like some idiots don't know that this is standard procedure the world over. In order to book an appointment with the president you have to go through the COS who is like the chief protocol officer in state house. |

babzo: Well done. While many of us including me have little hope or respect in our politicians, good steps must be encouraged. Our prisons are beyond terrible, - Vast majority of prisoners are either innocent or spend time awaiting trial for periods longer than their original sentence would have been , if found guilty. - Prison officials steal funds meant to feed the prisoners. - Most people go into prisoners, become worse and come out ready to do more evil. - Many big men lock up their employees, enemies or opponents with just a word from their lips. Yet a lot of our leaders have been in jail and prisons and did nothing to change the system, OBJ, FFK, Buhari etc.
Good step in the right direction Senator Uba. Buhari has never been to prison. He was held under house arrest during his time in detention |
