I think you should bring as much money as you can. From the way you sound, it's like you coming with a tourist visa. Has a tourist you just have to carry as much money as you can to enjoy your stay. Secondly, what do you mean you will be paying from Nigeria?

Are you a Swedish citizen? If you have a Swedish passport, then get yourself a visa to Nigeria and when you get there you apply for the new passport.
