My good people, please I have a question. For a student who is traveling to the UK (Birmingham) to be precise, do they need a transit visa if they fly the likes of KLM, Air France, Lufthansa, etc.) since most of these flights have stop over at these destinations? I appreciate your responses.

A query please, can an HND holder get a university to study MBA that will not need WES evaluation? I know some American school wave evaluation for Nig Bsc. But I am not sure of an HND and a WES waiver. Thank you all so much in anticipation.

Yes, it's possible but US schools are really expensive so unless that Undergraduate is not interested in scholarships, then by all means go ahead. Even so, its always better to write the SAT/ACT to show your commitment to the V.O else you might just make the interview process unnecessarily harder.

A roundtrip from New York to Houston will never cost $250 let alone $500.
Before the poster travel.. he should purchase a ticket from New York(JFK) to Houston as of today it cost $90 but it will go down by next week tuesday and wednesday to around $55. Be patient

@ ethnicgirl a round trip (JFK - IAH - IAH - JFK) can cost as low as $265 for the entire trip. Depending on your travel dates ( bearing in mind I got this fare for few days to "Thanksgiving holiday" and after Thanksgiving And on AA (American Airlines).

A week before Thanksgiving is actually $119 for a one way ticket.

Its been a long while, I dumped the healthy eating habit as I was losing my shape in the process and hubby was complaining. I went down 2 dress size from a US (10) to US (6), now my issue was all my Bum dissappeared, a tiny left over! Just the frontal part was ok, still an E cup size (TMI). My clothes especially pants don't look good as they used to with my once perfect shape.

So I kuku resigned, thou am not gaining any extra (Kg or Pounds) as the healthy eating is now like a life style is there anyway I can get my Bum back? Or its bye-bye. I doubt any targetted exercise actually works.

@ Babyosisi I doubt you would have ate as much as I did. I have been a GLUTTON ALL DAY. 3 plates of Jollof Rice, fried chicken, Suya, 2 cans of Dr Pepper, Egusi Soup & all sorts, all in one day, say na Easter I dey do. My estimate so far is a Minimum of 5,000 Calories...

Vegetable Soup as a main dish. Most times as early supper.

Some days I try to "Zigzag" my calorie intake,those days that you don't care the amount of calorie taken.

Brown Rice & Pepper Soup.

Hello Ladies (waves), been following the other thread regarding posting meal pictures, but I will like to follow this more. Been trying to lose a few pounds and finally am done, just trying to maintain my current weight.

Here are some meals I ate & still eating, it's more like a life style now.

I count alot of my calories, and it been working so far..

It depends on alot of factors. Is it an all inclusive package? If "yes".

Rent is Dubai for a family of (4) is a minimum of 6,000 to 7,000. *Thats a 2 bedroom in international city, that's the cheapest area in Dubai*.

Utilities will be a minimum of 1,200 - 1,500, this includes Water, Electricity, Gas & Internet.

Are your children of School age if "yes" then budget an additional 2,000dhs/month per child, for 9 months in the academic school year.

Feeding, this depends on your preference 1,000dhs to 1,500dhs for both western & African foods.

Transportation, there are various types from Buses, Metros, Cabs, etc. Now for a newbie driving the first (2 months) might be almost impossible since you will need to obtain a license. So I really don't know how much to budget.

If I recall any other thing I will add it.
