Abeg any March Applicant here make e no be like sey na only me remain for d March. And for others that have been waiting since before march, Respect e no easy. May God come through for all of us.

I was wandering if IRCC are still legally within their rights to delay application this long, cuz i know some people who applied since January and are still waiting. I will say thats pure evil to be honest. There are underlying financial cost, emotional cost and mental health issues that people are experiencing. For example i missed out on my admission in ireland and turned down a job offer up north in hopes that ppr is incoming.

To the Lawyers in here, there must be something we can do to help our situation, maybe a petition or online awareness campaign or something, cuz me am not buying the "high volume applications and covid excuses" for the delay, each Applicant paid application fee, let them use from that money to temporarily increase their workforce and processing capacity to offset the backlogs. They are being biased to underdeveloped countries

Early rejection is better than rejection after 5 months of wait

2 weeks?

I have just 15 days left to pay my tuition.

What do I do now?
Write to Windsor to give you enough time, i experienced delay too and they extended my deadline even with the extension they still didn't receive my payment on time, i had to go to my bank to request for evidence of payment (I.e the money has left your account) its some paper like that, can't remember the name but i sent it to the school and they chilled down nd waited. Uwindsor will give u time just ask them plus keep disturbing the bank. The country is working on borrowed life u just have to be patient

Thank you very much amila. I am 25 years old, single and I am being sponsored by my dad. My tuition fee is 11,200 CAD per year (2 years course) and I paid 7,000 CAD for the first semester. I presented 2 of my dad's account 5m and 4m respectively and also 3 of his landed documents (mostly houses he built and rented out) backed up with affidavits stating I am his next of kin and sometimes help in managing those properties cos of he's growing old. I Finished NYSC in April currently unemployed .
Sorry about your rejection, dont give up . When your gcm notes arrive analysis it and reapply. Did you add your dads salary account or pension statement and did you explain lumpsome deposit if any

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Hafeez6948: 10:07am On Jun 13, 2022
Good morning guys, please i need suggestions on alternative study destinations to canada that offer clear pathway to permanent residence. I have been waiting for 3 months and 2 weeks for my ppr and my eligibility review has been ongoing for more than a month with medical and biometrics all passed since early April. I have submitted the following documents

My father savings account (opening 14m closing 14.5m)
My mother savings account (opening 4.5m closing 4.7)
My dads work id and pension statement
My dads salary account ( closing 3m)
Ielts 7.5
Bachelor degree from Russia 2019 (left before my visa expired)
Nysc certificate 2020
Unmarried but provided family documents and photo
I have one Siblings and i submitted her work id
Tution deposit 4000CAD
My masters program is completely in line with Bachelor Degree
Currently unemployed since 2021 (wasn't retained after service and didn't bother seeking employment cuz my japa plan)

I believe with these documents i could have easily gotten visa elsewhere. My mental health is severely affected, depression wan kill me and i don dry like person wey get aids. We nigerians are being unfairly treated by IRCC and at this point its risky for me to depend on canada only as my resumption is September after deferring from May which means i would not have enough time to reply incase its a rejection. Also with the election coming and my dad retiring next year its paramount i japa soonest.

It's instructive to know about this if it's forbidden to use a third-party card in paying one's visa application fee. Anyone knowledgeable about this should endeavour to enlighten us too.

This question is a valid one that deserves an answer. Ona wey don collect visa and gurus should help us, cuz someone has just claimed IRCC had an issue with such payment. How true?

Truth is no one can really decide for you in this regard but I'll chip this in. If you're currently employed (9-5 job) and you know you're able to handle the pressure of studying (considering the time difference)and working full time, then by all means don't defer.

Considering however, that the school is suggesting that you defer; have you asked when the next available intake is?. If it's favorable to you, then defer. Otherwise, stay in line and hope for the best.

Goodluck
Thank you for your reply. Next deferral unknown but will ask .
No job at the moment and no online classes its totally in- person

Good morning all. I just stumbled across this Canadian thread and I really appreciate the effort of everyone of you. My brother graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sociology (3.3/5) and would like to advance his studies in Canada for Spring 2023 admission.Firstly, considering that he graduated with a 2:2, should he apply for masters or phd. Also, are there schools with cheaper tuition. Finally, I would really appreciate if someone can help with a summary of the process. I tried going through the pages but I am so confused. Thank you
I dont think its possible to do phd without doing masters first and kindly do your research on Google for schools, each school has its own unique program and requirement . "Summary of d process" might not b wat u need. Cost of tution is dependent on program and the school of choice.

Good Morning house, please I need some contributions to get some clarity about my application. About last year November 2021, I applied for a study permit. While applying my international passport was valid but will be expired by March 2022, after I submitted my study permit application I applied for a new international because I know the process of getting a Canadian visa is very lengthy and my passport would've expired before I get a feedback from ircc. Fast forward to February 2022, I got an invite by ircc to go for medicals which I did at IOM Ikeja. By march 2022 my status was updated to 'You passed the medical exam' . Since then I haven't gotten any feedback from ircc. I also saw on the CIC website that they have a backlog of medicals they're processing. I want to know if this delay is due to my passport renewal or the medical backlog ? Guru's in the house can also help me on this please.
Thank you very much.
They updated you to pass. Means you have passed the medical stage. U no follow 4 back logs

To my Christian brothers and Sisters i apologise for the barbaric act committed in the name of my religion. i know apologise is not enough but its the first step in the right direction.
