I honestly don't know the rational behind making newer cars to have higher duty, are they discouraging Nigerians from driving newer cars ? What if everyone decide to be driving 2005-09? Are they encouraging us to drive old cars, I think newer car purchase should be encouraged instead of the reverse, since we don't produce much in Nigeria

This are all cheap areas, where is unguwan rimi, malali gra,, legislative quarters marafa, barnawa GRA, or even narayi highcost. This are areas where you can see a flat for 1.5M and the least are 500k unless you stay in substandard house

most of you are failing to understand that bvn is linked to all your bank account which means they don't need it to get pin. they only need it to retrieve all bank account linked to it. from there , they will use the sim to try out their act with all banks linked to the bvn.

most of them have gone advanced to the extent that they now have insider to get info regarding your bvn and sim connected to the bank . this is how they operate . so don't under estimate these guys with the level they have gone.

this is how one was caught recently using bvn to retrieve bank details with insider in most of the banks. so be guided

oga I was a banker of over 17 years and a senior one at that i tell you no one will know your pin with BVN even of it is the CSU of the bank that are the custodians of your information, the pin is not part of the information

Lies, what of the ussd pin ? Someone even said with BVN they can get your pin, another lie from pit of hell, BVN had nothing to do with your pin, it is just an id number

1) high yield is a relative word, because its dependent on the current interest rate.

2) I strongly doubt if you could lose some money, even if you buy at a premium, the coupon payments/yields to maturity should cover the dirty price and still give you a reasonable spread leading to income.

3) non I can remember( I stand to be corrected) but this does not eliminate the default risk associated with bonds.

If I where to recommend, I will say split the money you have between bonds and money market instruments that way you can still benefit if there is an increase in interest rates.
