what has happen to inter house sports in naija schools ? do they still exist at all.
Sadly most people take their children to private schools and most private school don't have even a football pitch talkless of track and basketball court.
Sad for our sports development |

Onosy: Na waooooo....Nigerians....Africans...is Tecno, Samsung or Apple paying you for the Advert and all the confusion and quarell and insult you heap on others for their sake
Seriously, am waiting for the day when youths will start being proud of he house they own, the business/company they establish, the family they are building and their contribution to their localitity and nation....
Instead what we see youth braging about today are phones, tablets, cloths, cars and immoralities all these things are vanity and whether u like it or yes they loose value before you even notice it....nobody gets paid owning a gadge but everyone gets paid owning a house or business....
Lets place our priorities right and stop these pride over vain things...
the device u own does not actually matter what matters most is the asset (House, Business, Family) u own... choose wisely A man is not tag a successful man because of the device they own but because of how successful they are in business, fanily life, career....
the richest and celebrated people in the society today were not there because of the devices they use but because of their success in career, businesses, inventions and their contributions to the society.
Question: do you know the devices the richest and celebrated people use BE WISE!!!
Some may insult me, but I dont care....The wise ones will see reasons!!! And who told you people on this thread have no business or. Very successful career. The thread is opened mainly for tecno new tab and for those interested in it, these days successful business are aided by technology and I personally use tech for almost everything in my business, and updates being made here will help me to know whether to go for the N9 or not. Please note that I believe in your advice but also know that the thread is as well very important especially in this technology driven time. |

Afam4eva: These people you named have never represented NIgeria before and most of them were born and grew up in Britain, so i wouldn't classify them as Nigerian athletes. We used to have good home grown athletes that had prospects until recently. Let me be honest with all, private schools have killed sports in Nigeria, I can remember back in the 80s and 90s we went to public schools where you get all sporting facilities . These days you hardly see a private school with even a football pitch talkless of race track and naturally athelets are discovered in school sports due to this dwindling, hence our misfortune in sports |

adaobi123: But he's been here for ages na. Stop calling him a refugee. That status has gone. My sister ure right but today if he does anything negative or infamous they will remember his roots. Remember Michael Adebolajo and Adebowale that have never been to naija |

Afam4eva: So, apart from Okagbare, does Nigeria still have athletes? What happened to Obinna Metu? That guy had prospects. We can even manage the old Uchenna Emedolu, Olusobi Fasugba and co cos it seems Nigeria doesn't have male athletes any longer. You are mentioning people that have finished eating their pension and gratuity LOL To be frank these days Male athletes from Nigeria are useless, so anonymous |

biolabee: I'm sick of the british commentators
See them salivating over mo farah, ordinary somali refugee..
If he is caught with a bomb now, they will call him somalian
Muppets
If bolt was british, I will quit watching athletics Does being refugee made him any less human, remember you too can be a refugee though not my prayers, I think credit should be given to who deserves it, beside Farah used the british training and facilities to be who he is , mind u he came to uk in 1992, |
