Detaining them will only make them more popular moreover what is wrong in reporting a refugee crises.

For those saying that Aljazeera is one sided didn't you hail their bravery while reporting the Niger Delta crises meeting with the militants, all of a sudden they are villain because they are reporting a crises in the north.

Shame on their abductors

DerideGull: There is nothing such as Hausa-Fulani in Nigeria. The term, Hausa-Fulani, is the most idiotic and ignorant nomenclature in Nigeria. Why not Tiv-Berom or Angas-Tarok? Nigerians constantly lie and deceive themselves by indulging in emptiness such as Hausa-Fulani crap.
The term hausa-fulani was coined due to the fact the fulani has so much assimilated with hausa that you cannot distinguish the two particularly in the northwest of Nigeria, in states like kano, katsina, sokoto kaduna and jigawa etc you will see a family that are having 100% fulani ancestors but can only speak Hausa hence the term Hausa-fulani because by gene they are fulani but by speech they are Hausa.

In states mostly in the northeast like Adamawa,Gombe, Borno, taraba, bauchi and yobe you will see fulani that have not assimilated with the Hausa, they are by gene and speech fulani.

From the above you will clear see why the term Hausa-fulani is coined.

The EFCC should also prosecute the officers that opened and maintained such accounts and also their bankers for aiding them.

If this is not done the after a while someone will still do it, we only learn through the hard way

Inik: Loking at it from a religious and ethnic perspective Kogi, nassarawa, Taraba, kwara are predominantly Christian and non-hausa/fulani states by population. It wouldn't be a difficult task for these states to come together and unite under one umbrella.
So kwara, kogi and nasarawa have christians predominantly ?

Keep deceiving yourself.
Politics › Re: Suswam Pulls-out Of Northern Governors Forum by HAH: 9:45am On Jun 14, 2013
I think it is suswam that needs northern governor forum and not vice versa.

Of what relevance is he. My major problem with this so called middle belters is their hypocrisy, when a northerner is in power they are northerners, when a southerner is in power they go with the south. That is why they are irrelevant in the political equation.

awodman: There is a huge difference between GEREGU 1 and GEREGU 11...Geregu 1 generates 414 MW and Geregu 11 generates 434 MW

A little research would have saved you this embarrassment...
Can you do me the favour of telling me where that Geregu II is located, because I regularly pass that power station and the structures are have not changed from the one commissioned by obj in 2007
Politics › Re: 434 MW Geregu 11 Power-plant Completed by HAH: 2:45pm On Jun 11, 2013

Education › Re: Cut-off Marks For 2013 National Common Entrance Examination Released by HAH: 1:17pm On Jun 11, 2013
One of the reason the cut off are low is because there is no more interest in public schools unity or not, as a matter of fact I can't remember any of my friends or family whose child still goes to public school.

Unity school are leaving on past glory .
Education › Re: Cut-off Marks For 2013 National Common Entrance Examination Released by HAH: 3:54pm On Jun 10, 2013
Entrance into unity school are based on federal character, each state is given same number of slots , cut off point come into play for candidate when there are many candidates from a state that applied so that they can be trimmed.

A state like yobe which has 2 as cut off means almost everyone that wrote the exam will be admitted unless you got 0. Because the total number of people that sat for the exam are almost equal to the slots given to them.

So cut off is secondary and federal character is primary in admission into unity schools.

Education › Re: 2013 F G C Cutoffs: Anambra 139, Imo 138, Yobe 2! by HAH: 10:03pm On Jun 08, 2013
This is a simple logic and wisdom applied by the initiators of unity schools,

Now entry into unity schools is not by cut off marks but by federal character, cut off marks come to play when there are so many candidates
Example ; every state has 100 slot

If Anambra has 10000 candidates and up to 500 have a score of 300 there cut off can be like 350 to accommodate the best 100.

Now if Gombe has 101 candidates and 1 candidate got only 1 score there cut off should be 2 to accomodate the balance of 100 to fill there slot

Now if Yobe has has only 50 candidates and they have a slot for 100 that means their cut off will be 0. And all who wrote exam will be admitted irrespective of their score.
Politics › Re: NAMA Explains Grounding Of Oshiomole's Flight. by HAH: 10:27am On Jun 08, 2013
The story has changed cos initially we heard it was due to non payment of fees which we all know that universally is post paid. Now they have changed the story to manifest, well the manifest declaration before flight is the standard practice.

For the fact that suddenly the story change from fees to manifest I cannot ignore the case of political witch hunting.

For those who don't know Gambo Mohammad is the top striker of kano pillars, and one of the two most important players of kano pillars.

Now if kano pillars are the Nigerian league champions and 8 home based players made the list then a player from that champions is justified.
Sports › Re: Super Eagles FIFA Confederations Cup Squad! by HAH: 10:18pm On Jun 07, 2013
At last Gambo has made it to super eagles. Gambo mohammed and Rabiu Ali are the pillars behind Kano pillars the Nigerian champions.

Hope Rabiu Ali will be called next time as the guy is a mid field wonder.

Politics › Re: NAMA Grounds Oshiomhole’s Chartered Helicopter Over Aerodrome & Landing Fee by HAH: 6:48pm On Jun 07, 2013
Most people that commented are pedestrian in their analysis that one must pay for all landing like toll gates.

For your information the standard practice in the aviation sector is normally post paid mostly the bill for all landing are sent to the companies that own the plane at the end of the month when balancing and not operated like toll gate.

And you pay only at airport that is not your hub, otherwise is free.

I see nothing but a hatchet job.
NYSC › Re: Service Year Of 158 Corpers Extended by HAH: 12:37pm On Jun 07, 2013
For those that don't know once you have done the three weeks camp your discharge certificate will be produce. I learnt this from an NYSC staff.

Now a friend of mine who had his camp in enugu in the late nineties left after camp abroad for masters and other hustles, so his service was extended by three months but he refused to serve the punishment by the time he came back in 2003 to work here in naija all he did was to give 20k to a mobilisation staff at the Hq and his certificate was given to him without any indication of extension.

Same thing happened to a friends wife and also to demeji Bankole who all left after camp abroad and their certificate was given to them.

The moral of this tale is that only the poor suffers this their punishment.

That is how they worked it out so no cheating.
