I tire oo, most assets are picked up on a finance lease agreement in foreign countries. Its in naija here that people have the mentality of "I no won owe, so make I pay all the money now".. There is nothing wrong in taking up a leasehold property, its even advisable as your remaining resources can be channeled into something more profitable

If he leased this house then it is "practically" his own, so what's the fuse about? Where are the Accountants in the house? What happens when an asset is hired on a finance lease? How is this treated and classified? .. IFRS 16
