PoliticsRe: Mile 12: Akiolu, Others Back Assembly Over Market Relocation - VANGUARD by haibe(m): 11:15am On Mar 09, 2016
Goke7:
Just tell me say you no sabi road so people can give you direction, Amosun has built a fly over bridge over the benin -sagamu express way when you are linking Ijebu-ode through the Itokin_ikorodu road. From Ikorodu, folks who are linking the benin-sagamu exprees road has no business going through Lagos-Ibadan express road. And if you are coming into Ikorodu from the Benin- Sagamu express road, you have no business getting to sagamu.
.
The relocation of mile 12 market will actually decongest Ikorodu road as a whole. Mile 12 and owode markets are the reason for the congestion. I went to Ikorodu over the weekend and I breezed thru because mile 12 market was shut.
Oga I stay at ikorodu and know very well what has been happening, you still haven't gotten the point, the mile 12 market is mainly a food market for lagos state and not for the whole Nigeria.. How would every other part of Lagos State get to Ijebu ode if they won't prefer to pass ikorodu Road? You think they will prefer to go and pass abeokuta to link Sagamu? The bridge amosun built would be favouring those in ogun state mainly and not lagosians who use the mile 12 market mainly .

Also you experienced free drive along mile 12 not because the market was closed. It is because of the covets used as a guide against the mile 12 marketers crossing and blocking the whole Road, so basically even before mile 12 was shut we have been having a free ride along that area because of the initiative of putting the covet to stop those crossing and blocking the roads from the market.. It is therefore better that the market remains in mile 12 and I know it will remain there because the oba of ikorodu once complained about the congestion of the road linking ikorodu, so am pretty sure it will not be moved to such a location, it will end up staying in mile 12.

Their best bet is to take the market to badagry or places with low population.
PoliticsRe: Mile 12: Akiolu, Others Back Assembly Over Market Relocation - VANGUARD by haibe(m): 10:48am On Mar 09, 2016
Goke7:
Those against the relocation of mile 12 market are just too myopic, anyone who passes that road on a daily basis knows the planned relocation of the market is a welcome development and as for those saying it will bring more hardship to Ikorodu residents if relocated there, they too are ignorant cos the site of relocation is on the far outskirts of lagos which is the ijebu-ode - itokin road which will divert all the trucks bringing food stuff away from the Lagos entirely. The only reasonable thing to advise Govt is to make the itokin road a double carriage way but then its an interstate road which the Federal Govt have to do themselves.

The relocation of mile 12 market is defenelty inevitable whether haters like it or not.
Please where will they pass if they are going to Ijebu ode? You think they go and bass abeokuta-sagamu-ijebu ode? Oga wake up, majority will pass the ever congested ikorodu Road to link to link Ijebu ode, it is never a welcome development.. They should relocate the market to an area where not so many people reside in.. If am not mistakin, ikorodu has the largest population in lagos state and there is just one Road linking ikorodu for those in lagos..
PoliticsRe: Mile 12: Akiolu, Others Back Assembly Over Market Relocation - VANGUARD by haibe(m): 10:42am On Mar 09, 2016
While relocating the market may be a good idea, relocation to ikorodu is a very silly decision, I mean the traffic in ikorodu presently is unbearable, and they are still thinking of relocating that market there? They should put the market in an area where not so many people reside in.. There is just one route to ikorodu for Christ sake, it may be a good idea when there is a fourth mainland bridge linking ikorodu to other areas but definitely not now.

RomanceRe: Relationships Are NOT Meant For Students by haibe(m): 4:46pm On Mar 07, 2016
Errm op, I can bet u are still a student. Its obvious from ur writing because in the real world its not always about a guy providing for you, You have an obligation too, also ur post seems one sided, it kind of justifies school girls to be in a relationship but doesn't justify for guys, why is this?

In as much as I don't support guys lavishing on their school gf, I still think there is nothing wrong in a student dating a lady, especially when the lady is not poor/ or doesn't have the same mindset that u have.. I had like two girls that really wanted to date me back in the university. They obviously didnt need my money because they were very comfortable, so are u saying dating them would have been wrong simply because I was a student and wasn't so rich? Did u even bother to know that majority of university students in Nigeria are fully grown adults? If u knew all this, then u wouldn't be saying a student shouldn't date..

Your post has a very huge shortcoming painted in the following scenerio.

"A student aged 18 that is very rich should go ahead to date, while a 32 year old fully grown adult who isn't that rich should not be in a relationship"

Now re-read the scenerio above and see how myopic ur post is..

Praying in Islam or praying in Arabic? Our Illiteracy level can be compared to none. May God not allow to look stupid whenever we open our mouths in public.
I guess its cos Arabic is closely related to islam, so people tend to see anything said in Arabic as Islamic..

We are all guilty of buying fuel in jerrycans, mostly for generator use. So if this story is true, this can actually happen to anybody.

May their souls rest in perfect peace.
So how do we fuel our generators

you can only break such records if and only if the present set of lecturers are extinct in OAU. Sadly, they will always be there; it's more like passed on from one generation to another. You may still not understand if you didn't pass through the system or presently there. It's a great achievement like I earlier said and I wish him well; but trust me, such is a mirage in OAU (Engineering precisely). Cheers.
U are not making any sense, u are assuming the set of lecturers in unilag want the guy to have a 5.0 too.. There are sadist lecturers everywhere but the record just have to be broken one day.

This is naija na guys, its no secret that majority of those that write jamb exams cheat!! So why are these commenters here finding it strange, put urself in the guys shoes first, do u know how many years he has been at home? If it was u how would u feel failing over and over again because the system in the country doesn't always favour those that merit admission.

Ps: cheating is totally wrong but let's be careful with how we are quick to condemn.

Lol he will wreck oo.. The fact I have 200k for iPhone doesn't mean I can afford to buy it, thats the case with wizkid.. However linda has a present wealth that may be equivalent to thar of wizkid but also has a huge prospect, her blog is something that can last forever.. Unlike wizkid

They must be very stupid for requesting only university graduates. In a country where getting into the university has little to do with how intelligent you are, and they searching for just university graduates.. This is discrimination of the highest other, I think there should be a protection put in place for graduates searching for jobs by the government because stuffs like this don't make sense at all

First of all she claim she bought the bag at the cost of 14 thousand dollars, for her information UK utilizes GBP £ not USD.
Haba why reason like this?

Firstly Us dollars is used as a benchmark currency in every country, in short it is a global currency that can therefore be accepted in any country.

Secondly, the fact she said 14k dols doesn't mean she actually paid in dollars as some manufacturers display their products in dollars because of the wide range of countries patronising their products. All you need to do is to pay the GBP equivalent of the dollar for someone that earn in dollar or pay the naira equivalent for someone that earn in Naira
