I saw the PM exam paper.. I think it was fair enough . One could easily get all the 30 marks on the question on investment appraisal for example. Other questions had little technicality to it. But all in all I expect the pass rate to be above par.

Is investment appraisal in Ican PM skill level syllabus.? Am surprised seeing it as the number one 30 marks question

As long as every app needed to use on phone (social medias, utilities and games), WP is 90% perfect alongside Android. Also must all phone have same features.. Android is also lacking series of features that iOS packed together (app aside)..

As for me, I pick WP over Android, and I can't even wait to switch my Lumia 535 to Lumia 650 once available in Nigeria.

Are you aware majority of game developers like gameloft and ea sport hardly focus on Windows phones? My best game on Android (mc5) only gets updates seasonally unlike ios and android. Several other interesting games and applications are missing and ur saying 90%. Do your research well bro

As far as concern, as long as rooting a fone will void my warranty, it's illegal.... The phone might have a common problem and if it's rooted and then the problem occur, u expect them to fix it for free abi?.. it's Nigeria, u self know it's not possible.

That's why they say if you are a noob, don't root your phone , it's a very clear and easy instruction. It is illegal to you if you say so, but is not illegal to others.

Most people I have met that bought windows phone were fooled into buying it, the apps and games are too few compared to android. Hardware and software is only good enough. Get an Android phone and free yourself.

Okay let me even assume rooting is illegal in some countries. However if it's not illegal in Nigeria, then it makes sense to use an android phone than a windows phone. About the non root apps, the amount of apps available on Windows is still no where near that of android. There are few windows phone developers Compared to Android .

If you get an administrator permission on Windows and you mess up your computer, you cannot claim a warranty for this. So therefore it is illegal to you right? Smh

Stop saying what you do not know. Rooting is not illegal, how did you come about this?

Asking that question shows you don't know what rooting is and it's implication. By rooting you Android device, you are granted a Super User (Or Administrative) permission. This means you can alter delicate system files and build the operating system to your own taste. By doing this, you can easily mess things up if you don't understand how certain programs work and cause an hard brick to your device . That is why rooting your device is not advisable unless you really know own what you are doing. Rooting will void your warranty because manufacturers know it is very likely to harm your phone if you don't know what you are doing and therefore won't take liability for your own carelessness.

There is no law saying you shouldn't root your phone, infact no legal implication of rooting you phone, except of course you are using your root access for illegal stuffs.

Ps: Getting super user permission on Android is not different from getting administrative permission on Windows. None of them is illegal, but it is only advisable to get this permissions if you are totally sure you will not mess things up.

For "folder mounting", am not really sure of what it is but if it's creating of folder for apps, it's an inbuilt features on WP.

fake Wi-Fi app, if I recall correctly, it's not available on Play Store which means it's somehow illegal but due to Android external app support (which of course expose the phone to varies infections) you were able to install it.

Root Explorer, rooting of phone is illegal, everyone knows that and WP want to keep there OS safe (just like iOS), so if you can't root your WP, why will I need root explorer??

lucky patch, last time I check on this too, it's not available on Play Store, so it's obvious that it's illegal. since WP don't allow external apps installer, you won't find it for WP.

CPU analyser, this is just another inbuilt features for windows phone.

I actually agree that standards need to be set, funny thing is that only entry level workers are asked for these grades.. out there it's more of what you can offer

I have really observed this trend, especially with people that graduated with a 2.2 grades and below, they would smartly omit their grades when preparing their CVs. For instance a 2.2 graduate is most likely to write "second class (honors)" instead of "second class honors (lower division)" on his CV. My question is why is this so? Since if eventually u are being called for interview u would definitely be asked. I believe recruiters would most likely sideline ur application because of this omission. What do u think?

If you really want me to be very specific with my class on my cv like "second class lower". Would you also like it if I am totally specific of what my CGPA is.. like 3.48/5 ??

Fact is there are many people chasing few jobs. Grade is initial screening tool to avoid a deluge of of applications.

95% of the time, your intellect will reflect in your grade. Of course, bereavement, financial worries and so on can negatively affect grade.

Except you're applying for woodwork, iron bender, rewire and so on. Whereby your strength lies in your manual skills.

I beg to disagree.. this classes or grades actually do not make make sense, at least to a large extent.

You call someone that finished with a 3.49 a second class lower student and label him "dull" or "less intelligent "

You then call someone that finished with a 3.50 a second class upper student and label him a more intelligent fellow.

You refuse to give the former a job because of your assumption, while you give the latter a job because of your assumption.

The first thing to note is that the difference between these two is insignicant and putting them in different class doesn't make sense at all.

It is very possible that the guy with 3.49 is actually a better student depending on the difficulty of his course of study, strictness of the examiners, human error while marking his scripts, the conditions of learning in his school environment .. etc.. in order words basing your decision on absolute figures can be misleading, factors that could determine a good grade should always be put into concern.

What most employers do is like investing in a company simply because it has a higher profit than other companies, without taking into consideration factors that could have led to the higher profit (like the weighted average number of shares used to generate the profit and other capital).

All in all, those classes are meaningless as they ascribe an ability to a person based on historical conditions, you should employ people based on what they are now or who they are now, not who they are 7 years ago.

So I totally disagree with you that 95% of the time, your grade shows your intelligence, that's too false.
