Do you expect France's president to be in the airport all day to receive over almost 190 world leaders.

People should have a rethink on this issue...in as much as there are almost 190 world leaders at Paris doesn't mean that France's President should be at the airport to welcome them all.
Politics / Re: Pirates Attack Polish Ship In Niger Delta, Kidnap 5 by Haishophem(m): 11:13pm On Nov 28, 2015
knightsamsong:
What is a polish ship doing in nigerian waters? Will they allow nigerians move around their own territorial waters with impunity? Nigerian militans doing d work of the Nigerian Navy...

Mind you, there's a clear difference between a Merchant ship and a war ship. The Polish ship being a merchant ship doesn't pose any security threat unlike a military ship. Most of the goods transported all over the world are done through ships. For ur information the militants are not doing the work of the navy. They are making business less attractive in that part of the country. Cos pirate attacks have been prevalent in that region for months now. And the consequence of this is that, there'll be less traffic of vessels to transport the needed cargo to that particular region. A Nigerian Oil tanker vessel having all crew onboard as Nigerian was attacked between Brass and Port Harcourt 3 weeks ago..kidnapping all the officers onboard. And likewise a fishing vessel was attacked within that same region with four crews killed by the pirates. Tell me how they are securing the territorial water with all this unreasonable acts.

NYSC / Re: Top 15 Best States For NYSC In Nigeria| Highest Paying States by Haishophem(m): 9:20pm On Oct 09, 2015
nicholasis:
I just graduated and the next phase of my education is to serve my country for one year, but i later realised that if i am given an opportunity to select a state to serve for my NYSC i won't even know what to say because i don't even know the best states that will be a huge advantage to a corper . In order for me to be able to make a good choice on the states i decided to do a little digging on this topic , i didn't do this for myself alone but for the sake of other corpers like me .

For the sake of those students graduating this year and the once that has graduated and preparing for their NYSC services ( National Youth Service Corps) i have compilled this list of Best States For NYSC In Nigeria. Graduating from school is one thing but making choice of the best Nigeria cities or state to serve is another thing . The esssense of this article is to guilde students going for their NYSC service the best states and cities to serve considering factors like security , standard of living and pay (also called ALAWI).
Best 5 States to serve in Nigeria And They Are The Hishest Paying States

1.Ogun
2. Lagos
3.Plateau
4.Enugu
5. Anambra
6. Rivers
7. Abuja
8. Osun
9. Akwa Ibom
10. Cross River
11. Osun
12. Ekiti
13. Ekiti State
14. Delta
15. Abia

The compilation to me is not complete if the op can't include the cost of living in those states. Sourcing for accomodation in Lagos for instant coupled with other expenses will tell you that the allowee won't cover all the expenses.

Maybe without the foreign grants the situation would be even worse.

@bold
I don't get what you are trying to say here.

It would have been worse without the aids, and mind you, with the abundance of resources in Africa alone, we can do without their aids. And moreso we should be the one sending out grant had it been we've got leaders that really have the development of the countries in Africa at heart. I'm using Africa instead of Nigeria, cos it's a menace that's common to most African countries. The aids is just like you dining with the devil and in return asks for something more valuable in return.

Yea he can create with $2.3bn but you've all got to open your eyes and see deep into this foriegn grants given, of what use has it been ever since. It's just one of their means of under developing us.
Politics / Re: US To Give Buhari $2.3bn To Fight Poverty by Haishophem(m): 8:29am On Oct 05, 2015
We have been clamouring for Nigerian states to look within there states in order to increase their IGR for them to be independent of federal allocations, yet we are here lauding the foreign grants given by these countries. When will we stop looking up to them before we can do some certain things? The more we receive aids from these clowns that tagged themselves as african friends the less our rapid development dream will go. African leaders should intensify their efforts in developing the continents with the abundance resources God blessed us with and stop all these foreign grants.

I've got to hold my thoughts regard this list cos we've seen different list this few days, but if this is actually the list, then I can't really see any sense in recycling these same set of ex governors as ministers when we've got lots of people in the country that can fit in.
Travel / Re: Photos: Transport Ideas That Can Reduce Traffic/Accidents In Lagos. by Haishophem(m): 8:39am On Sep 30, 2015
I've always said it and will continue say it that we've got a bunch of dumb ass leaders...cos I can't really see any sense in them seeing as things are outside the country when they travel and can't think of replicating such here...when they conduct feasibility study as in what it costs to set up these things I don't think it needs some sort of rocket science. But they won't. Instead they embezzle the money and send it out of the shores of the country to keep enriching the other countries.

Kudos Explorer...following you bumper to bumper.

He recalled that US had classified Nigeria, Somalia, Ethiopia and Sudan as failed states which needed to be divided between 2011 and 2015, adding that it was only from Sudan that South Sudan was carved out on July 9, 2011, remaining Nigeria, Ethiopia and Somalia.

If one of the basis of this people leaving is based on US opinion, I don't think they opened their eyes to see what has been going on ever since with US interference in most countries affairs. The WEST have never wanted a United Africa ever since, cos they are very much aware of the great strength we possess when we're together. If Biafra want to really leave make them leave and stop coming out quote some power drunk that call themselves world ruler.

So Vanguard that i use to respect wants to put this hard working Government in a bad light? not a problem. President Buhari is an Honorable man, and will keep to his promises. As Long as Saraki and Dogora are ready to pass it into law in their Chambers, then i dont see how this can be a problem.

This man is barely 6 Months in Office, and all these PDP Hallelujah singers, are just grasping on any straw of criticism against this Government. It will not work, and Project Nigeria Will Be Great Again is on the March.

Sai Buhari.

Hunger is really bad as ur moniker implies...so u're still in the comfort of ur room waiting for the unrealistic 5000/month....guy wake up...never believed in that since they made the campaign then...Looking at the state of infrastructure in the country and the mess the economy is into right now u still dey in support of this...what will 5k/mth provide for you...make he no talk go that side ooo..any welfare package promised by any govt of this present day Nigeria is unachievable...the whole money a year will go far in providing some reasonable basic amenities
