Investment / Re: Fuel Scarcity: 8 Vessels With Petroleum Products Arrive Lagos Ports - Sunnews by Haishophem(m): 4:34am On May 05, 2015
This shouldn't be a news to us all had it been we have proper govt in place. Does that mean the government is so weak to get rid of the so called "CABALS" holding the whole populace on ransome? What's the essence of having a huge oil reserve and have no refinery to refine the so called products. Make the oil dry up maybe the government go get sense small.

Come home let build our country or get killed no one cares

The so called Ghana must go incident can be termed as a retaliation from the Nigerian Government in response to "Aliens Compliance Order of the then Ghanian president Kofi Busia.

Politics / Re: NNPC Pushes For Fuel Subsidy Removal by Haishophem(m): 4:01am On Apr 24, 2015
Subsidy should be removed asap cos its one of the channels where the few elites suck the nation dry. I wish Nigerians can see the removal as what we needed at this time cos the subsidy is really not reflecting on the said subsidized products.

So you're telling me that the leadership of the community could not instruct their young men to dig a bore hole, well, or shallow reservoir in their community? Nobody can make those earthenware pots of old days? Nobody can make a simple sand filter? These are technologies from 1000 years ago and still nobody has bothered to do so in their own community?

The real shame is that people have adopted this "government must help us because we stopped being able to do anything for ourselves" attitude.

So onpoint....

What have been the state governor's contribution to job creation? Most of the governors and LG chairmen have been so irresponsible on their side, yet we capitalised their failures on the FG.

hotice01: GEJ and His Government are just extorting Nigerians in so many ways because of the coming election.with the huge amount of graduates, highly esteemed&self professed educated individuals in various levels&sectors.I muslt say that my country is full of educated illitrates&fools. No steady power supply to encourage investment,no good roads&other infrastructures, most of these plants(except innoson I guess) are barely functional, citizens are contantly humiliated home and abroad by both their government(Nigerian embassies esp) and foreigners.not that the locally produced cars will b affordable for the common man.our government have misplaced priorities.

This issue you highlighted have been the songs on most people's mouth in Nigeria, it's a known fact that we don't have much infrastructure to support the growth of most manufacturing industries. But it's a known fact that most foreign investors looked beyond this challenges and still set up there businesses and are still making waves. Julius Berger, Shoprite, MTN just to mention but a few are some of the companies we know are making it big despite the infrastructure laspses.

Heard abt this news on a radio talk this morning but was astonished hearing lots of Nigerians criticising the policy. And it was this same Nigerians that complain of unemployment in the country. Imagine how many people will be employed if the policy is properly implemented.
