How exactly have they upgraded? 720p on a 6.8 inches screen is awful. Infinix hot 6x has a better ppi density. They still use the same damn emmc storage, generic camera sensors that would fade out in a few months. The only positive here, and I mean the only positive is the processor, the rest of the specs is nothing to write home about. This isn't about brand loyalty or anything. I have used infinix for a long time, hot to hot2, hot4 and hot6x which was my last bus stop with them. Phones even Chinese will spit on, they'd never use it.

But Nigerians here will defend it with their lives and attack anyone that tries to open their eyes. Well like someone said, if it's cheap enough, people would know they are buying trash for a lesser price.

They are still churning out phones with 720p display, how awful. See how they shamelessly slapped NFC on it like it's a new feature. The same NFC their fan boys said Nigerians don't need. Well it's Nigeria sha, a dumping ground.

And micro USB, why the hell are they still using that? They swear for them? Since the first hot series. No sane person who has adequate knowledge about phones will buy this.

I use IDM for downloads and it sure downloads faster than regular browsers, but the OP might have better options

I'm not a fan of fast charging. I never used my note follow come charger to charge it. I used the 10 Watts that came with my hot 6x instead. From 2019 to 2021, I just gave it out this month to my sister. Battery health was still at 89%. My battery never went below 20% and I rarely charged it to 100%, since I have two powerbank.

Samsung has an option to turn off fast charging and I did immediately I got the A52. My cousin thinks I'm weird for doing so but I don't care, I'd rather get an additional powerbank. Regular tops ups are just better than waiting to drain your battery and charging it full back.

So we should think of IP68 more as an insurance rather than a bragging tool. It's safe but there's always that 1 out of 1000 that has a small chink in it's armour.

Well fast charging isn't healthy for batteries but it's not for the reason Apple wants you to think about.

Apple uses li-ion batteries while everyone is upgrading to Li-po batteries. Samsung uses li-ion as well.

Li-ion batteries don't play very well with higher voltages. Li-ion batteries are also cheaper and discharge faster as well.

Li-ion Batteries lose their capacity faster also. This is a serious problem for apple as they use small capacity batteries.

So putting in fast charge and using up half of a battery's charge cycles in year will turn a 3500mAh iphone battery to 2,500 or less.

This is why.

i think Samsung uses li-po batteries now.
