BIBLE IN ONE YEAR : JOB 5 - 8 AND JOEL 1.
MESSAGE :
When you see Jesus, everything blocking your vision will give way. At the time I came into ministry, we served God selflessly. Nobody had to promise any of us a house, car, position or title. We just loved God and we were ready to serve Him no matter the cost. We were ready to take the shame and suffering that came along with our service. Furthermore, when we suffered, we did not grumble or complain because our focus was on Jesus. This is where our focus should also be today. In Mark 10 : 17 - 22, a young man came to Jesus to find out what he needed to do in order to make Heaven. The Lord told him to go and sell all that he had and give to the poor, and then he should take up his cross and follow Him. This was too much for him to bear, and so he went away grieved. He thought he had met all the requirements but the Lord told him what he lacked which he never knew of. Beloved, when you see Jesus, you will realize what is lacking in your life that you never thought about. When you see Jesus, you will be able to see yourself more clearly and deeply. Jesus is the mirror through which you see yourself for who you really are.
“But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” Isaiah 64 : 6.
It was after Isaiah saw the Lord that he realized he had been inviting God’s judgment on himself as well as on the people. He did not know that his lips, which he thought were anointed, were also unclean ( Isaiah 6 : 1 - 7 ). He saw his true picture and he cried out to God for help. When you see the Lord, it will change your prayer point, and you will begin to pray more appropriately. Isaiah cried for help and God sent an angel to touch his lips with a coal of fire from the altar to purify his lips. Malachi 3 : 2 - 3 says the sons of Levi must be purified by fire. This is why servants of God should not be afraid of trials. When you go through very trying times, it is likely that God wants you to be purified. He wants to take out the dirt and anything that will not allow you to truly manifest the grace of God that is upon your life. It takes you seeing Jesus to know how dirty or unclean you really are. Seeing your true state through Him will motivate you to call on Him for help.

Looking at Jesus, the perfect eternal mirror makes you see yourself in the realities of eternity.

8:17. I Love them that love Me; and those
that seek Me early shall find Me.
8:18. Riches and honour are with Me; yea,
durable riches and righteousness.
Message:
From the encounter the widow of Zarephath
had with God in 1 King 17:8-16, we learn
that God knows how to reciprocate love.
1. It takes deep love for God for you to be
ready to give your very last meal for His Sake.
2. When in Proverbs 8:17 God said “I Love
them that love Me; and those that seek Me
early shall find Me.”
3. He meant every Word of it.
4. When the widow was told to go and first
prepare food for Elijah, she looked at him
and said, ‘I will do it.
5. Not for you, but for your God and because
of my love for Him”.
6. Can it be said that you truly love The Lord?
7. The testimony of genuine love for God is a
great testimony every believer in Christ
should have.
8. After all is said and done, may it be
declared concerning you that you loved The
Lord. Amen!
B. Beloved, do you know that giving of first
fruits is just a test of your love for God?
1. By The Grace of God, out of my love for
God and to reach and to reach out to lost
souls, I desire to convene a Holy Ghost
Congress. The first Congress took place in
1977.
2. I wanted to invite students to come
together for this purpose, but I could not
afford to feed them all. I had no money but I
had a car, and without thinking much about
it, I sold the car for that purpose. I did this
with every sense of joy and satisfaction.
3. At that time, some people thought I was
mad, and really, I was madly in love with
God.
4. When God says he loves those who love
him, He means it.
5. When you demonstrate how much you
love Him, he will reciprocate.
6. Just recently, I announced to the
congregation that I no longer had a need
for cars, so nobody should give me a car as
a gift anymore. When I got home that same
day, four new cars were already waiting for
me.
7. I said I didn’t want any more cars, but
God said I haven’t seen anything yet. I gave
Him my first car and ever since, He keeps
sending me cars.
C. The widow gave God her last meal and
God kept sending more, meals to her.
1. While everyone around her was either
starving or dying due to famine, she and her
household got more fattened.
2. You may not believe this, but do you
know that I gave the very first house I built
in my life to the Lord?
3. For me, it was indeed a pleasurable thing
to do.
4. I did not come into this world with a
house.
5. God built one for me and when He
needed it, I gave it to Him out of love.
6. I can tell you that He has been very faithful
to me ever since.
7. Are you still holding back lands, houses,
money and other things that you could have
given Him to demonstrate your love and
provoke greater returns?
8. Do you really love Him?
Action Point:
Pray that God will cause your nation to make
progress in every sector in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: THE HOLY SPIRIT IN ACTION

INTRODUCTION:
Having studied the personality of the Holy
Spirit and His attributes, we need to look at
the significance and the ministry of the Holy
Spirit in order to see Him in action.

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is God's seed of power in a
believer, planted at his baptism (of the Holy
Spirit) and growing to bring forth the fruits
of power (Acts 1:. This power
supernaturally makes the believer to become
a true witness of the word e.g. the initially
timid, easily shaken like a reed PETER turns
out to be an active, powerful, immovable
Rock and witness of the word (Acts 2:1-47;
4:10-20).
He is also the Consuming Fire of God, which
distinguishes the true believer (Matthew
3:11-12). He is the divine Wind of God's
Church and the enabling Grace behind a
fruitful and rewarding Christianity (Ezekiel
37:1-10, 1Corinthians 2:4, Luke 4:14-18).
THE MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
The ministry of the Holy Spirit, amongest
many, includes the following:
1. He quickens our mortal bodies (Romans
8:11), which makes it illegal for any sickness
or disease to dwell there, but instead turns
it to partakers of God's divine nature
(Matthew 3:12, 2Peter 1:4).
2. He guides into all truth (John 16:12-13) by
enlightening the understanding of the
believers on all issues of life. He is, therefore,
our only insurance against the deadly and
enslaving grip of ignorance. By this divine
guidance, we will always have solutions to
every problem that may confront us.
3. He reveals things to come (Acts 21:4,
10-12).
4. He reminds of things taught (John 14:26)
especially in the times of need e.g. the Lord
Jesus in His encounter with the tempter.
5. He reproves the world of sin. The sinner
gets conviction not by gimmicks but by the
Holy spirit (Zechariah 4:6).
6. He reproves the world of righteousness
by making them to live righteous in the
midst of a perverse generation.
7. He reproves the world of judgment (John
16:11).
8. He testifies of the truth, which makes it
easier, therefore, for a true believer to
decree a thing, and it is established unto
him (John 15:26; Job 22:28).
9. He intercedes for the saints (Romans
8:26-27).
10. He gives spiritual gifts unto hungry men
and women who earnestly covet them
(1Corinthians 12:4, 11).
CONCLUSION:
The Holy Spirit is unique in significance and
His ministry is comprehensive. It is
dangerous for any true believer to run the
pilgrims journey without Him. Put His house
in order, that is your body, which is His
Temple so that He can dwell there.
Pray accordingly in Jesus' name.

DATE: SATURDAY NOVEMBER 4TH 2017!
THEME: DON’T FAINT!
Memorise:
Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as

2 Corinthians 4:1
Read: 2 Corinthians 4:15-16
4:15. For all things are for your sakes, that
the abundant grace might through the
thanksgiving of many redound to The Glory
of God.
4:16 For which cause we faint not; but
though our outward man perish, yet the
inward man is renewed day by day.
Message:
A. As children of God, one lesson we derive
from Luke 6:38 is that giving precedes
receiving.
1. Those who expect to receive when they
have not sown are waiting for an empty
harvest.
2. Some people may contend with this truth
by citing John 4:38, which says, “I sent you
to reap that whereon ye bestowed no
labour: other men laboured, and ye are
entered into their labours.”
3. Yes, it is possible to reap where you did
not sow, but you will always reap what you
sow.
4. If you check the scriptures, you will find
out that the privilege of reaping where you
did not sow is reserved for the hardworking
fellow and not for the lazy.
5. If you consider the parable of the talent in
Matthew 25:14-30, you will discover that the
servant who had 10 talents was given the
extra talent that was taken away from the
lazy servant.
6. The Lord justified this action with these
words in Matthew 25:29: “For unto every
one that hath shall be given, and he shall
have abundance: but from him that hath not
shall be taken away even that which he
hath.”
7. If you work hard and excel in whatever
assignment The Lord has given you, if you
make sacrifices in doing God’s Bidding
beyond every other person, or if you out-
give everyone else, you will not only enter
into abundance, but you may also qualify to
receive the harvest of the lazy.
B. Moreover, we see that the lazy servant lost
his harvest.
1. May you not lose your harvest to someone
else. Amen!
2. It is interesting to note that some people
lose their harvest not only to laziness but
also as a result of lack of patience.
3. A story was told of the pastor of a local
assembly, who fasted, prayed and
evangelized his community but could not
get a harvest.
4. It appeared as if the ground was iron.
5. Unknown to him, God was working out
something that would bring a lot of people
to that community.
6. Sadly, before God could finish what He
was doing, this pastor got discouraged and
quit ministry.
7. Just about the same time, another pastor
started a ministry in the same community.
8. The people that God caused to relocate to
this community as reward for the toiling of
the pastor that quit now became a harvest
for the new pastor.
9. This new pastor must have concluded
that ministry was so easy, without knowing
what really happened.
10. In light of this, never give up on your
assignment!
11. No matter how tough things may be,
remain with God and you will reap your
harvest.
Key Point:
If you remove people out of their rightful
harvest, get set to be thrown out of your
own harvest, unless you fully restitute.

THEME: UPTURNING BLESSINGS

accursed, when ye take of the accursed
thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse,

2:1 And now, O ye priests, this
commandment is for you.
2:2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it
to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith
the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse
upon you, and I will curse your blessings:
yea, I have cursed them already, because ye
do not lay it to heart.
2:3 Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and
spread dung upon your faces, even the
dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall
take you away with it.
2:4 And ye shall know that I have sent this
commandment unto you, that my covenant
might be with Levi, saith the Lord of hosts.
2:5 My covenant was with him of life and
peace; and I gave them to him for the fear
wherewith he feared me, and was afraid
before my name.
2:6 The law of truth was in his mouth, and
iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked
with me in peace and equity, and did turn
many away from iniquity.
Message:
God can bless you by pronouncing a
blessing on you, canceling a curse or even
turning a curse into blessing. It is important
to establish at this point that no man can
change your blessings into a curse - not
even the one through whom the blessing
was pronounced. Once the blessing is
pronounced, it cannot be taken back. We
see a manifestation of this truth in Genesis
27:30-37. After Esau returned from his
father’s errand and realized his brother had
stolen his blessing by impersonating him, he
went to his father and said, “Daddy, what
have you done?” Isaac, his father, replied, "I
am sorry son, I have already blessed him
and he remains blessed. I didn’t know I was
blessing the wrong fellow, but I can’t
change the blessing now. He is already
blessed!" In the Name that is above all
names, every blessing that has been
pronounced on you and your family shall
come to pass! Your blessing shall never be
reversed in Jesus’ Name! Every plan of the
wicked to upturn your blessings shall fail
and meet with disappointment!
However, God can change blessing into a
curse. In 1 Samuel 2:30, God told Eli, “With
my mouth, I said that you and your father’s
house would stand before Me forever, but
now, because of what you have done, I have
changed My mind”, and with the same
mouth, God cursed Eli and his descendants
forever. In that scripture, the Lord revealed
that honouring Him is very crucial. If you
want Him to fulfill His promises and beautiful
prophecies to you and your family, you must
be prepared to honour Him. God will only
honour those who honour Him. I have often
told those brethren who attend our monthly
Divine Encounter programme that when God
asks you to give Him your first fruits, it is not
because He is in need. It is simply a way of
you honouring Him. Proverbs 3:9-10 says,
“Honour the Lord with thy substance, and
with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So
shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy
presses shall burst out with new wine.”
Have you been faithful in paying your first
fruit? If you pay it faithfully, He will definitely
keep His word by bringing His promises to
fulfillment in your life. If however, you
cannot meet his conditions, do not waste
your time claiming the promises. God is a
responsible God, and He is the Father of
responsible children. If you ignore the
commands of your earthly father, it doesn’t
show you are responsible. It works the
same way with God.
Action Point:
Pray that your blessing will never become a
curse.

Transferring one rather than multiple fertilized donor eggs doubles the chances of a healthy birth. Using In vitro fertilisation IVF increases the odds of having twins or multiples birth which increases the likelihood that the babies will be born premature and underweight.

Many women choose to have multiple embryos transferred in IVF to improve their chances of getting pregnant. In traditional IVF, using fresh eggs, the donor egg is immediately fertilized with a semen sample and then inserted into the uterus of the mother.

Marburg virus disease is endemic in African green monkeys and some bats, it can be transmitted to humans. The disease can be transmitted from person to person by exposure to blood and other bodily fluids.

Marburg virus disease is caused by viruses that produce symptoms of fever, chills, headaches and muscle aches early in the disease; symptoms worsen and may lead to hemorrhagic fever and death. Risk factors include exposure to African green monkeys and some bats; in addition, exposure to an infected human is high risk factor.

Message:
There are some vital lessons we can benefit
from the story of Elijah and Elisha found in
our Bible reading today. The first thing we
see in that story is that God always has
something better, more precious and more
glorious in store for His children. No matter
where you are and where you plan to be,
God always has a better plan for you. This is
why 2 Timothy 1:9 says,
“Who hath saved us, and called us with an
holy calling, not according to our works, but
according to his own purpose and grace,
which was given us in Christ Jesus before
the world began.”
God has a unique purpose for your life.
When you became born again, you were
called by God to fulfill that purpose, and He
also called you to holiness (1 Thessalonians
4:7). This call of God on you is referred to as
a 'high calling' (Philippians 3:14). Therefore,
no matter how good you are in strategic
planning, there is still a need for you to
subordinate your plans under God’s will and
allow Him to have His way in your life. No
wonder Psalm 37:5 says that you should not
fail to commit your ways unto God and trust
Him to help you in actualizing your plans.
This is also why Proverbs 3:5-7 says that you
should always tell God of your plans, so that
He will provide divine guidance. Do you trust
God enough to let Him direct your steps?
Elisha was a successful businessman before
the mantle of God’s call fell on him, and he
left his business to follow God’s plan for his
life (1 kings 19:19). Eventually, he became a
father to the whole nation of Israel and
kings called him ‘father’.
Moreover, another lesion is that although
God has a higher glory ahead of you, He can
use people, situations and circumstances to
test your resolve along the way. Sometimes
when test come, we don’t recognize them
as tests, and because of this, many of us fail
the test. You have to pray that in the test of
life, you will not be a failure. When Prophet
Elijah was to be taken away, he told his
servant Elisha that he had been sent by God
on some errands and that Elisha should not
bother to follow him. Thank God Elisha was
dogged and sensitive enough to realize that
it was a test, and he passed the test
brilliantly. Some tests of life are so crucial
that failing them may rubbish all the past
good efforts one has put into achieving
greatness. May you not fail in the tests of
life!
Prayer Point:
Father, whatever tests I would have to go
through, please see me through. In the tests
of life, let me not be a failure.

Message:
In Joshua 7, after the Israelites had defeated
the people of Jericho, Joshua sent a handful
of soldiers to attack Ai. Because Ai was just a
little town, he expected victory without a
sweat, but to his utter dismay, his people
were defeated. After receiving the sad news,
he fell on his face overwhelmed by shame,
because defeat brings shame. The enemy
would have laughed, wondering how a
small city such as Ai could defeat Israel.
However, while Joshua was lying before the
Ark of the Covenant with his face to the
ground, God told him the cause of the
defeat and what to do to have victory again.
Have you been defeated by a weakness or
an enemy you considered too weak to bring
you down? I declare to you that this is your
season of laughter! The Lord will show you
the way to victory today, and your laughter
will begin.
Moreover, beyond laughter, there is
something called overflowing laughter. In
today’s Bible passage, when Elijah was
about to be transported to Heaven, Elisha his
servant had some unpleasant experiences
everywhere he went with his master. As
they visited each of the schools of the
prophets, the sons of the prophets, who
were students in these schools, called Elisha
aside and said to him, “Daddy’s boy,
everywhere daddy goes, you go with him.
Do you know that your daddy will be going
finally today, and you will have no one else
to follow about? We shall soon see what will
become of you.” Every time they say this,
Elisha replied them saying, “I know my
master is going today, but mind your own
business.” After Elijah was taken to Heaven
and his mantle dropped, Elisha grabbed it
and smote the river like his father had done,
and the River Jordan parted into two for
him to go through. The sons of the
prophets, who were watching from a
distance, came and bowed down to him.
They had no choice but to admit that
indeed, the spirit of Elijah is now rested on
him. The greatest laughter comes when
your mockers become your servants. When
God called me into ministry, a lot of people
laughed. The greatest laughter came from
my village, where they said, “Look at him -
the only lecturer from this village who we
thought was going to become an important
personality. We knew something was wrong
with him the moment he joined that church
of 'Amen' and began saying 'Amen, Amen'.”
Nevertheless, today, God has given me
overflowing laughter. Wherever they are
laughing you to scorn, the Lord will give you
overflowing laughter in Jesus’ Name!
Action Point:
Pray that everyone who has been
experiencing sorrow, disgrace and shame
for long in your local assembly will begin to
experience overflowing laughter from now
on.

In vitro fertilisation IVF scientists have discovered that embryos created with sperm from men over the age of 50 divide more slowly and take longer to reach the early stage known as a blastocyst, when the embryo is ready to be implanted in the womb.

Embryos created with sperm from men over 50 years developed 35 per cent more slowly than embryos created with sperm from men under 35. Considering only embryos that reached the blastocyst stage, the time to reach this point was 4.3 per cent slower for the embryos of men over 50 years than for the embryos of men under 35.

As men age, their sperm becomes more prone to develop mutations that result in DNA errors. Sperm from older men was found to have an abnormal number of chromosomes in each cell – either too many or too few, a condition called aneuploidy. This will prevents the sperm from creating a healthy embryo.

The team analysed the DNA of sperm from men whose partners were experiencing recurring pregnancy loss.
The men were divided into seven age groups, with the youngest group aged 25 to 30 and the oldest over 55. Their sperm was tested for aneuploidy and DNA sequencing for a type of mutation called copy number variation CNV.

Message:
Prayerlessness is a major challenge facing
contemporary believers. Many refused to
pray as they ought to because they have
become overconfident and proud. The more
you pray to God, the less dependent on
yourself you become. As young Christians,
some people prayed quite often. When they
became workers in God’s vineyard, they
sustained their prayer tempo, but the
moment they became pastors, their prayer-
life nosedived. Why the decline? It is because
such people began to believe that they could
now do things on their own. This is the
highway to ruin. Are you praying less after
God has elevated you spiritually? If your
answer is yes, check yourself very well, you
will discover that you now have more faith
in yourself to succeed by your effort than by
God’s support. This is one reason why God
keeps a distance from the proud: He knows
if He helps them achieve a feat, at the end,
they will not think twice before taking His
glory.
Besides pride, another reason for
prayerlessness is carelessness. In Matthew
26:41, Jesus said:
“Watch and pray, that ye enter not into
temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but
the flesh is weak.”
Also, in Mark 13:32-37, the Lord emphasized
the need to watch. You cannot afford to be
careless. You can’t afford to be cold,
lukewarm or carefree in these days that we
live in. Praying goes along with watching.
You cannot pray effectively if you fail to
watch as well. If you watch effectively, it will
help to give your prayers direction. You will
know what trending issues to lift before
God’s throne. You will have some burdens in
the place of prayer that will only be lifted
after you have prayed through. Similarly, if
you watch as you should, you will be able to
relate events that are happening around you
with the second coming of Jesus Christ. If
you are keeping watch, you will be on your
guard and on your toes. If you watch, you
cannot be asleep. Beloved, this is not the
time to sleep but the time to be spiritually
awake, alert and prepared. This is the time
to pray about virtually everything that comes
across our path. It is a time to wholly
depend on God, who knows the way, to
show us the way in the midst of growing
confusion and evil spreading around the
world. Wake up! Fast more! Watch more!
May the Lord guide you in Jesus’ Name.

According to a new study, infertility increases a woman's chance of untimely death compared to women who have had children. Having fertility problems also raised the chance of getting breast cancer and diabetes.

became his helper. They politely took him to
Jesus, and after Jesus healed him, he
became the center of attraction. Very soon,
you that people thought would never

of attraction in Jesus’ Name!
A particular sister was dying at the
University of Lagos Teaching Hospital. Her
husband met the doctor and they confided
in him that she would not live to see the
following morning under any circumstance.
So he went to his wife, pretending to care
for her, and he told her he would see her
the following morning, secretly expecting to
meet her corpse by then. As he left the
hospital, he phoned his mistress and said,
“My stupid wife will pass away tonight.
Come over and let’s have fun.” The mistress
came to his house and they were “having
fun”, but because they never expected
anyone to disturb them, they did not even
lock the door of the bedroom. They were in
for the shock of their lives. After this man
left the hospital earlier on, that same night,
the Lord Jesus Christ visited his sick wife

When God calls a person into a spiritual
office, it is because there are roles he wants
such a person to play in the scheme of
things as regards God’s agenda for man on
earth. Spiritual offices are not just for the
purpose of accumulating titles or occupying
position. If you are called into a spiritual
office, you are called to serve God, and to be
a blessing to lives. God is the giver of all
spiritual gifts through His Holy Spirit.
However, it so obvious today that some
people are not using the spiritual offices
they occupy for God’s original purpose. If
you have been called as a pastor, your
responsibility is to raise a church and care
for the spiritual needs of those God has
placed in your trust as a pastor. Today, there
are many sheep wandering away, because
they are not being properly guided by the
shepherds the Good Shepherd has set over
them. There are members of the Body of
Christ who cannot identify their left from
their right, and for this reason the Holy Spirit
in 2 Timothy 4:2, gave this mandate to those
He has set over them as pastors:
“Preach the word; be instant in season, out
of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all
long suffering and doctrine.”
Are you an evangelist? You are a preacher
and messenger of the true gospel of the
Lord Jesus Christ. As an evangelist, you are
to declare the entire counsel of God
wherever you are. The word of the Lord
should not be watered down because of the
presence of certain people in your audience
(Jeremiah 1:. You are to constantly remind
your hearer of the genuine word of God and
avoid messages that will not bring people to
the knowledge of Christ and His saving
works. If you are a teacher of the word, you
have been gifted by the Holy Spirit to explain
God’s word in order to build and equip the
church. You are to communicate biblical
truths effectively to the understanding of
your hearers. Are you occupying the office
of a prophet? If you are, you have been
authorized by God to speak on His behalf.
There are lots of problems in the Body of
Christ today because people are not using
these spiritual offices for the purpose for
which they were given by the Lord Jesus
Christ. Grace has been given to everyone
according to the measure of the gift of
Christ; hence, it is important that people
disengage from causing divisions within the
Body of Christ. The offices are meant to
complement one another for the perfecting
of the saints and to edify the Body of Christ.
The offices are to be used together for the
unity of the church, so that God’s people can
come into the full knowledge of Him.

It is possible to change fibroblasts -scar tissue cells into cardiomyocytes -heart muscle cells. Researchers used single cell RNA sequencing technology in combination with mathematical modeling and genetic and chemical approaches to delineate the step-by-step molecular changes that occur during cell fate conversion from fibroblast to cardiomyocyte. They reconstructed the routes a single cell could take in this process but also identified underlying molecular pathways and key regulators important for the transformation from one cell type to another.

Embryonic stem cells throughout human body gradually changes into a variety of highly specialized cell types, such as neurons, blood cells, and heart muscle cells. New discovery showed that it is possible to revert terminally differentiated somatic cells to a pluripotent state- cell that can self-produce and potentially turn into any kind of cell in the body. Researchers have also figured out how to convert one kind of differentiated somatic cell type into another without detouring through the pluripotent stage or the original progenitor stage. Such findings shifted the paradigm of cellular hierarchy and revolutionized stem cell research and the field of regenerative medicine.


Direct cardiac reprogramming, a promising approach for cardiac regeneration and disease modeling that direct conversion of cardiac non-myocytes into induced cardiomyocytes (iCMs) that closely resemble endogenous CMs. Like any reprogramming process, the many cells that are being reprogrammed don't do so at the same time.

Cellular reprogramming is heterogeneous, which makes it difficult to study using traditional approaches.
Using microfluidic single-cell RNA sequencing techniques, addressed the two main issues of 'asynchronous' programming and heterogeneous cell populations. They analyzed global transcriptome changes during fate conversion from fibroblasts to iCMs.
Using mathematical algorithms, they identified molecularly distinct subpopulations of cells along the reprogramming pipeline.

After a heart attack, cardiac fibroblasts around the injured area are immediately activated and become highly proliferative but this proliferative capacity decreases over time. How to take advantage of the varied cell cycle status of fibroblasts over the progression of a heart attack and its aftermath would certainly broaden the application of cellular reprogramming for patients and optimize outcomes. The molecular features of subpopulations of fibroblasts were differentially suppressed during reprogramming, suggesting that the susceptibility of cells to be reprogrammed varies.

This susceptibility coincides with the timing of cardiomyocyte differentiation during heart development. The signatures in the intermediate populations that seem to appear earlier in heart development were more resistant to the alterations. This suggests that the recent epigenetic memories of cells might be more easily erased, and so the fibroblast subpopulations with such epigenetic features are more easily converted into cardiomyocytes. Adjusting epigenetic memories not just changing their current epigenetic status could be crucial for changing a cell fate for therapeutic value.

According to the latest research, the abnormality in the brain's control of head and neck movement, breathing, heartbeat and the body's responses to deprivation of oxygen supplied, could be the reason why some babies sleeping on their front are more at risk of sudden infants death syndrome SIDS.

SIDS is so devastating because it occurs with no warning and no obvious signs of illness, the exact cause of death in SIDS has not been identified, multiple studies have pointed to a subset of SIDS babies that are not entirely 'normal' before death. These infants all seem to have some form of underlying vulnerability, exposing them to increased risk.

Abnormality within key regions of the brainstem in SIDS babies, specifically in parts of the brainstem that control breathing and movements of the head and neck. This abnormality is directly linked to SIDS cases.
The abnormality is in the transmission in the brain of a neuro-peptide, known as "substance P", and its binding with an associated neuroreceptor, "neurokinin-1" (NK1R).

Substance P and the NK1R neuroreceptor play a critical role in the brain's control of the respiratory system, the cardiovascular system, and in how the body responds to hypoxia- deprivation of oxygen at the cell level. An infant with this abnormality is likely to have impaired respiratory and motor responses to life-threatening challenges during sleep.
Abnormality is a key reason why it is more dangerous for babies to sleep on their front.

If a child has this underlying vulnerability in its brain chemistry, and its breathing becomes compromised by sleeping on its front, that child is at greater risk of death because its body cannot respond in the normal way. The baby can't lift its head, and its breathing and heartbeat will be compromised.

The study has shown that the abnormality in substance P is significantly influenced by prematurity and male sex, which may explain the increased risk of SIDS in premature and male infants.

Message:
If you will ever achieve anything tangible in
life, you need faith that hinges on God and
that believes in possibilities. If our God could
frame the universe through His word, then
there is no situation or circumstance
beyond His control (Hebrews 11:3). There is
no situation in your life that He cannot
reverse. He can bring hope to your life
irrespective of the long-standing problems
in it. In John 5:1-8, we see the story of a
man at the pool of Bethesda, who had been
in the same sad condition for 38 years. He
claimed that the reason why he had not
been made whole was because he had no
man to assist him; but by the time the Lord
Jesus came on the scene, his problems
ceased without the help of any man.
Irrespective of the many years of rejection
you have suffered, the Almighty God is
attending to your situation right now in
Jesus’ Name. There are families that have
lost so many things. They have been
through all sorts of problems. In Genesis
18:1-10, we have the account of Abraham
and Sarah, who had waited several years for
the fulfillment of God’s promise. The angels
of God finally visited them and assured them
that their long awaited blessing was on the
way. Despite all the odds stacked against
them physiologically, God’s purpose was
established in their lives. I speak the word of
God to every family going through pains: the
Almighty God will divinely visit you and settle
you in Jesus’ Name.
There are some people in business who are
already planning to close down their offices

Laughing or talking while eating is the primary cause of choking, throwing objects into the air to then catch in the mouth, and cutting food up into perfect circles for children can also contribute to choking.

Choking can prevent speaking, crying, coughing and breathing which can leads to unconsciousness and death.
In such an event the NHS guidance is to give the person five sharp blows on the back, followed by five abdominal thrusts - known as the Heimlich manoeuver.

When someone is choking, no oxygen is reaching their brain. Hence, not chewing food properly can kill within ten minutes. Brain damage is possible after four minutes of choking, while it is expected if the airways have not been cleared after eight minutes.

Anyone who wants to be successful in life without struggling must know the reason why God sent him or her into this world. open Heaven 20 October 2017 As a child of God, it is particularly very important for you to know your calling and stay within it. There are many reasons why a child of God should know and stay within his or her calling. The Holy Spirit expounds on this in Romans 12:3 saying:

Migraine are integrated mechanism by which the brain protects and repairs itself. Migraine can be triggered by diet, stress, sleep disruption, noise and air pollution. It can increase brain oxidative stress, an imbalance between the production of free radicals and the ability of the body to counteract their harmful effects.

Oxidative stress is a useful signal of impending harm because a number of unfavorable conditions in the brain can give rise to it, targeting oxidative stress might prevent or preempt migraines. An interruption in blood supply each of the components is protective: strengthening antioxidant defenses, lowering the production of oxidants, lowering energy requirements and, especially, releasing growth factors into the brain that protect existing neurons and support the birth and development of new neurons.

There are feedback loops between these components of a migraine attack that tie them together into an integrated system, migraine attacks are not triggered by oxidative stress, they actively protect and repair the brain from it. The pain, nausea, and sensitivity to light and sound, fever and pain, or cough are not the disease itself but part of the body's defense against migraine.

REPETITION?

this end, that men ought always to pray, and
not to faint;
18:2 Saying, There was in a city a judge,
which feared not God, neither regarded
man:
18:3 And there was a widow in that city;
and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me
of mine adversary.
18:4 And he would not for a while: but
afterward he said within himself, Though I
fear not God, nor regard man;
18:5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I
will avenge her, lest by her continual coming
she weary me.
18:6 And the Lord said, Hear what the
unjust judge saith.
18:7 And shall not God avenge his own elect,
which cry day and night unto him, though
he bear long with them?
18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them
speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man
cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
Message:
A lot of people don’t know the difference
between importune prayer and prayer with
vain repetitions. Importune prayer,
otherwise known as persistent or relentless
prayer, is good and recommended by our
Lord Jesus Christ, while vain repetitions are
abhorred and condemned by Him. In our
memory verse, the Lord Himself warned us
against vain repetitions during prayer! The
question is, what does it mean to pray using
vain repititions? Does it mean, as assumed
by lot of people, using the same words over
and over again when praying? To answer
this question, let’s take a look at what Mark
14:39 says about the prayers the Lord
offered in the Garden of Gethsemane:
“And again he went away, and prayed, and
spake the same words.”
It is clear from this scripture that vain
repetition does not mean repeating the
same words in prayer. Using vain
repetitions in prayer simply means
continuously praying on a request for which
God has said “No” or “Wait”, “it’s not yet
time”, in the hope of stampeding Him into
doing what He has purposed not to do in
your own best interest. I remember when
my children were still young and we were
living in Mushin (Lagos, Nigeria), where
there were so many reckless drivers around.
My children asked for bicycles, but I refused
to grant that request because I did not want
to bury any of them. My answer to their
request could be interpreted as, “Wait, it’s
not yet time”. However, when we moved to
the Redemption Camp, where the roads
were safe for young fellows to ride bicycles,
I decided it was time to grant their request.
If they kept asking me for bicycles while we
were still at Mushin, that could be
interpreted as praying using vain
repetitions.
In our Bible reading, the Lord encouraged
importune or unrelenting prayer by using
the illustration of a judge who was not
sensitive to the plight of his petitioners, least
of all a lowly widow. Importune prayer is the
prayer we keep on saying when God has
not given a verdict of yes or no. It
demonstrates to God that we have no
alternative to Him and what He can do for
us. This story tells us that after the widow
kept on going to the judge day and night,
he decided to do what she wanted.
Although God cannot be intimidated by our
prayers, in as much as we ask according to
his will and we do not grow weary in
asking, He will always answer us. Daniel
prayed importune prayer for twenty-one
days before he got his answer. As a matter
of fact, it was his importune prayer that
prevented him from being robbed of the
answer to his request which had been
released on the very first day that he started
praying, but was hijacked by principalities
(Daniel 10:12-13). I pray that your cry to God
will be heard today and you will have
testimonies in Jesus’ Name.
Prayer Point:
Father, avenge me of my adversaries today,
and put laughter on my lips in Jesus’ Name.

MESSAGE:
When we look at the situation of the world
today, we can be tempted to think that God
has withdrawn from the world he created,
but nothing could be further from the truth.
Our God is very much in charge of His
created order. He has never and He will
never lose grip of His created universe. One
reason why some people think it is immoral
to link God with what is happening in the
world today is the evil that permeates the
world as a result of sin being perpetrated by
the men and woman of this age. Such
people believe that if God is involved in the
affairs of this world, then the terrible things
we are witnessing today should have
triggered His direct intervention. Such
opinions are not new; they were also
expressed by some people at the time of the
early Church, to whom Peter responded with
the words 2 Peter 3:9:
“The Lord is not slack concerning his
promise, as some men count slackness; but
is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that
any should perish, but that all should come
to repentance.”
The events described in today’s Bible
reading showed God’s people living in a very
difficult time. The persecution of the early
Christians by the Jew, which claimed the life
of Stephen, caused the believers to scatter all
over the then known world, in a bid to
escape further persecution by the Jews.
However, this dispersion resulted in the
spread of the gospel. Philip, who was
initially commissioned to minister to the
widows in Jerusalem, became a city-wide
evangelist in Samaria. The Bible testifies thus
about him:
“Then Philip went down to the city of
Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.
And the people with one accord gave heed
unto those things which Philip spake,
hearing and seeing the miracles which he
did.”
Acts8:5-6
You can therefore see that indeed, all the
things that happened in Jerusalem,
including the scattering of the disciples,
worked together for the salvation and
deliverance of the people of Samaria and
other parts of the world. My prayer for you
is that all the things you are passing
through this season will work together for
your good in Jesus’ Name. However, only
those who love God have the assurance of
all things working together in their favor,
especially those who are called according to
God’s purpose. Therefore, ensure that your
love for God is sincere, so that your
expectations will not be disappointed.
PRAYER POINT:
Father, in accordance with Your word, let all
things begin to work together for my good

Message:
You can live above the storms of life in these
last days through the power of God’s word.
The Lord has promised us in His word that
He will not leave us comfortless (John
14:18). You therefore have His assurance
that no matter how bad your situation may
appear to be, there is hope for you. Let
these words of Job 14:7 bring hope to your
heart:
“For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut
down, that it will sprout again, and that the
tender branch thereof will not cease.”
While Jesus and His disciples were on a
missionary journey, the disciples desperately
called His attention to a raging storm. He
calmly woke up and rebuked the storm, and
right away, there was great calm (Mark
4:36-41). The disciples first struggled to
survive the storm on their own, but the
more they tried, the more they were in
danger of perishing at sea, until Jesus
intervened. I pray that the Almighty God will
intervene in your situation today in Jesus’
Name. From the words of the Lord, we
know that the last days will be a time of
turmoil with several raging storms (Luke
21:25-26). We are indeed in the last days.
Are you experiencing a storm? The Lord has
different strategies to bring comfort to you.
He can simply calm the storm by the
awesome power of His presence, or by
directly commanding the storm to become
still. He can also provide a cover for you from
the storm. This is why you need to stay in
God’s presence where your destiny can
remain secured.
The Lord has promised the outpouring of
His spirit upon all flesh in the last days. Acts
2:17 says,
“And it shall come to pass in the last days,
saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon
all flesh: and your sons and your daughters
shall prophesy, and your young men shall
see visions, and your old men shall dream
dreams:”
We are living in times when the Spirit of the
Lord is empowering the saints for the
fulfillment of prophesies and the
actualization of visions. The Body of Christ
therefore has no excuse not to do exploit
for God in times as these, because the
promise of the Spirit’s outpouring has
already been fulfilled by the Father. God is
set to do great things, not because of our
own abilities but because of His sovereignty.
Not one of God’s children will be left out of
His great move in these last days. Son,
daughters, old men, young men,
manservants and maidservants are all
relevant to God in His agenda for this time.
He has reserved better things for His people
in the midst of the turmoil unfolding in the
world, and He will begin to give us divine
revelation of how we will transit from
where we are to where we ought to be by
His Spirit. The Spirit will also release the
strength and vigour needed for the
actualization of these dreams.

Some ovarian cancers start in the fallopian tubes. Ovarian cancer cells have more in common with cells covering the tips of fallopian tubes than with those on the surface of ovaries. If biomarkers can be found for these tubal cells, direct tests on tubal tissue might be able to detect ovarian cancer.

The research team plans to conduct studies that will seek to apply the current molecular biology findings to clinical practice, removing a woman's fallopian tubes, but not her ovaries, may reduce the risk of ovarian cancer in those at high risk.

The current study confirm previous results that had suggested that many high-grade serious cancers in the pelvis are preceded by abnormal cells- lesions occurring in the fallopian tubes, called serous tubal intraepithelial carcinoma STIC.

Past studies in several cancer types had shown that cancer cells with different origins have different genetic profiles. Cancer cells may arise from clisertissue or may have spread to a location from another part of the body, but their genetic profile reflects the tissue of origin.

If STIC cells and ovarian cancer cells had different genetic profiles, they must have originated in different tissue types. Instead, in-depth molecular analyses of cells from different women with high-grade serous carcinoma failed to identify any genetic differences between cancer cells arising in the tubes and serous ovarian cancers occurring elsewhere in the pelvis.

Ovarian cancer is more aggressive than many other cancers because it is hard to diagnose in its earliest stage. Fewer than 50 percent of women diagnosed with the disease survive for longer than five years after their diagnoses.

Message:
There are several misconceptions about the
existence of angels. Some people don’t
believe that angels exist. Some other people
who believe in the existence of angels don’t
know their purpose. It is important for us to
know the truth of what God’s word says
about angels, so that we don’t miss out on
the ministry of angels in our lives. Today’s
memory verse confirms that angels exist,
and gives a hint on why they were created.
From this scripture, we understand that
angels are ministering spirits. We have two
categories of angels: holy angels of God and
fallen angels. The term “fallen angels” refers
to Satan and the group of angels that
rebelled along with him against God. These
angels, now called the devil and demons,
were cast out of heaven and are awaiting
the day of God’s final judgment against
them, when they will be sent into the place
of eternal punishment (Isaiah 14:12-16,
Ezekiel 28:12-19, Revelation 12:9, Matthew
8:29, Revelation 20:10). On the other hand,
the holy angels of God are those angels that
have remained loyal to God as their
sovereign Lord. Concerning these angels,
Psalm 103:20 says,
“Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in
strength, that do his commandments,
hearkening unto the voice of his word.”
As a child of God, the angels of God are
meant to minister to you and for you in the
hour of great need, especially in situations
beyond human control and power. Hebrews
1:14 says,
“Are they not all ministering spirits, sent
forth to minister for them who shall be heirs
of salvation?”
For example, angels ministered to Jesus
after His temptation and before He went to
the cross (Matthew 4:11, Luke 22:43). Psalm
91:11-12 mentions some specific
assignments of the angels of God saying,
“For he shall give his angels charge over
thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.They shall
bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash
thy foot against a stone.”
Years ago, when some of the brethren came
to me suggesting that I begin to carry
bodyguards around, because they would
not want to lose me to hoodlums or hired
assassins, I declined because, based on the
above scripture, the One who called me has
more than enough angelic bodyguards to
take care of my security, and they are more
effective than a billion human bodyguards
could ever be. Note however that the angels
of God should never be worshipped or
prayed to. Often times, because of their
awesome nature, those who encountered
them attempted to do this, but every time,
these angels themselves forbade them from
doing so (Revelation 22:8-9). Are you
enjoying the ministry of angels?
Action Point:
Thank God for His ministering spirits that
have been assigned to take care of you.

Pseudomonas aeruginosa and its variants are associated with delays in wound healing. The bacterium is present on the skin that causes poor wound healing in certain conditions.
Damage to a receptor that allows the body to recognise the bacteria is associated with a change in the balance of the community of bacteria present normally on the skin.

The shift in balance has an enormous impact on the ability of the wound to heal. The bacterium has previously been associated with wound infections, and such infection is a major complication of skin wounds that fail to heal. The research was carried out using mice that were previously shown to heal poorly. The mice lack the receptor Nod2 that recognises bacterial components and has been shown to regulate the host response to bacteria.

Researchers discovered that mice lacking Nod2 had more Pseudomonas aeruginosa than normal mice, which is associated with delayed wound healing. The bacteria also caused normal mice to heal poorly. The team says the findings are also applicable to humans as Pseudomonas aeruginosa is associated with infected wounds that heal poorly in people.

There is an urgent need to understand the bacterial communities in our skin and why so many of us will develop wounds that do not heal. Wounds can be caused by a multitude of factors from trauma to bed sores, but infection is a complication that can lead to life-threatening illness. Many people are struggling with wounds that heal poorly, but this new study suggests that the types of bacteria present may be responsible for failure to heal, which is important for treatment management.

Killing cancer cells indirectly by powering up fat cells in the bone marrow could help acute myeloid leukemia patients. Researchers discovered that boosting adipocytes, or fat cells, located in the bone morrow suppressed cancerous leukemia cells.

The production of healthy red blood cells is critical for those with acute myeloid leukemia but is sometimes overlooked as conventional treatments focus on killing the leukemia cells alone. Patients with this disease suffer from anemia and infection due to the failure of healthy blood production.

A drug used to moderate diabetes that induces fat cell production in the bone marrow was used for leukemia patients and was found to help foster red blood cell production as well as suppress leukemic disease.

The drug suppressed the cancer cells and bolstered the healthy cells, allowing them to regenerate in the new drug-induced environment. The drug activates blood regeneration and may provide benefits for those waiting for bone marrow transplants by activating their healthy cells.

When you see a girl singing in the choir, yet,
from the choir, she keeps sexual
appointments, check that girl, she has not
seen anything yet about her future...
When you see a young boy who dresses to
church, to seduce those small girls to bed
and his mates will be clapping for him,
check that boy, he has a spiritual eye
problem...
He hasn't seen anything about his future
yet...
If you do it again and again and again, God
will forgive you again and again and again...
But, while He is busy forgiving you, angels
are busy searching for some one else
heaven will use to replace you ...
What separates men before God is not how
long they can pray or how much scriptures
they know...
The value God places on people is not
determined by the position they occupy in
the church...
But how much they can bear for His Name
sake...
Some times, He allows your salary to be
delayed, to know if you will start stealing in
your office...
Sometimes, He allows some lose ladies to
start suggesting sex with you, to know if
you have grown...
But unfortunately, you still fall again ....
Yes, He will forgive....
But, you will still remain in the same class in
the school of glory...
Decision separates men...
There is an OIL that comes with separation...
The weight of a man is buried in the
decisions he makes when no one is
watching him ...
Many times, God allows you to be lonely so
that you can be holy...
Forget this public revival messages all of us
are preaching...
Many are still behind in the school of glory...
Not because they chose to, but because they

separation...
If it takes a man to be married to be
responsible, we will not have many married
irresponsible men scattered all over the
place who are renting houses for their

When a man is due for marriage, he should
get married...
But don't tell me to get married because you
want me to escape fornication...
Marriage is not an escape route into a
responsible life...
What you cannot control when you are
single has the power to control you even
when you are married ...
No matter how beautiful your wife will be,
you will still see other beautiful ladies....
Teach me how to die to flesh sir...
Teach me that I can live alone in a house
alone and yet, I will not think rubbish
thoughts...
Joseph was not married before he ran away
naked from Portiphar's wife bedroom ...
It was not a marital ring on his finger that
made him refuse that gesture....
But because he knew the future God has
planned for Him will be messed up by a
single decision....
God wants to raise a generation of young
boys and girls that will love God where no
one is seeing them ...
God wants to raise a breed that doesn't
appear holy only when they see their
parents or their pastors...
This holiness by dressing is sending people
from choir seats to hell fire...
They are dying in secret sins, yet, they have
none to cry to, because, once they confess,
they will be stigmatized...
Consequently, we are raising a generation
that is speaking in tongues on their way to
hell...
Sister, singing in choir doesn't confer value
on men before God, but decision...
Stop attaching your spiritual growth on
night vigils where you go and flog enemies
...
God is waiting for you when no one is
there...
If you can succeed there, you will be a
commander of the supernatural...
The greatest tool against the end time
church is the adulteration of the message of
grace...
They teach you that God will forgive...
But they will not teach you that God will not
promote you to another class...
No matter how you love your child, you will
not give him your car key to use when you
know he has not perfected his driving...
As long as that child is finding it hard to
drive perfectly, he will keep trekking to
school...
There is someone reading this posts now,
heaven is saying that you are due for
manifestation, but you have not made a
decision yet...
You are still afraid of hunger....
You don't want to starve....
You are ashamed of what people will say
when you stop sleeping with men for
money to pay bills...
They have even told you that there is no

Even if he accepts, you are afraid that you
might never cope...
Sister, don't let weekend orgasm rob you of
eternal value...
Your enemy is no more that witch in the

But any man that is making you comfortable

Don't be in church singing in the choir and

with His power...
I know you have been trying to make

Singing in choir, leading in powerful prayer
sections, yet, battling with addictions...
Worse of all we were afraid to tell anyone...
Because, people around would never have
understood how much we were trying to be
better ...
We bought different anointing oil, from
different men of God, yet, we were not free...
We even afflicted ourselves with fastings...
Yet, nothing changed ...
Until we encountered the Word of God.....
When Jesus said that " We are made clean by
the Words that I speak unto you..."
We began to read and study the Bible...
Like Job, we began to esteem God's Word
above our necessary food...
Gradually, addictions began to lose its grip...
God began to change our appetites...
Until today, the darkness is past, the true
Light now shineth ...
Brother, I want to recommend you to the
Word of God....
The Word of God will settle that lust issue...
Don't go and rush into marriage if you are
not ready, because you want to avoid
temptation...
The spirit of lust does not respect wedding
ring...
Especially now that our sisters who are still
in Babylon even prefer having it with
married men ...
There are still single guys who are serving
God in spirit and in truth...
5 chapters of the bible every day and 1 hour
prayers or more...
You will see that your mind will stop going
to those thoughts ...
Jesus did not say it is easy...
But He said that with God all things are
possible ...
Your heart is beating faster now as you are

You are wondering if you will ever get free
