Jegz1: @jewelstone I'm looking to change from my current course (Msc Animal science) to a graduate of nursing in western sydney as I am currently at wagga wagga, I contacted the school and I was told it wouldn't be an issue if I meet the graduate requirement but my concern is if it wouldn't be a barrier when it comes to immigration policy and my long term goal of staying, please kindly share your say with me since you've gone through the same process and anybody in the house who can contribute please I need your fair say Check master of nursing practice at university of Sydney. Application for international students would close this Friday. If your undergraduate degree is from Nigeria and above 4 years and you have a good English result , you shouldn't have problems being admitted |

WestAfrican: Really? How did you find out? It's for people who already have a degree in nursing. They have a bachelor of nursing (graduate entry) which is 2 years. But I can't go for that cos I'd have to apply for a new visa if I wantu drop down

WestAfrican: Have you checked on Western Sydney Uni and LaTrobe Uni? The masters done in western Sydney doesn't make one eligible to become a registered nurse upon completion of the program. I'd check la Trobe university. Thanks |

Hey guys! Is there anyone here who has transferred to a masters of nursing program (one with accreditation and upon graduation would be eligible to become a registered nurse). I'm looking for universities with affordable tuition fees and good location, in terms of jobs. All the ones I've seen are quite expensive (university of Queensland, university of Sydney and Monash university). Thanks |

[quote author=chimax1 post=59268613]Hey guys, Am about to apply for Mph at torrens University, I have a b.tech in biomedical technology. How good is the uni and my course for PR things?
Chk d ranking of that university online. I don't think it's close to even average. As for the public health, I wouldn't advise you to go for it, especially since you've made it clear that u want PR. |

queenbet: Congrats on your grant dear.
Please gurus in the house, I have so many questions, 1. How long can it take me to reapply again?
2. How long will it take for me to get a refund from Victoria University?
3. Are there AL1 universities in Melbourne that has a November intake?
4. How much should be on SOA to cover for myself, 2kids and hubby?
5. Has anyone heard of Melbourne Institute of Technology? Not RMIT. Please if you have, can you tell me what AL they are and how they work generally. Thanks
Please reply, it's really urgent Regarding the refund, you should read on the refund policy of the school. I once requested for refund from western Sydney university and I was refunded within a month. I was refunded 100% of the money I initially paid to the school. Although, my reason for requesting for refund is different from yours, yours is still reasonable, so they should also give you bk the entire money that you paid. |

yeyen004: What course are you going for? Master of biotechnology and business. Biotechnology was added to the list today. Technical sales Representative [which include pharmaceutical sales rep, medical sales rep, etc] has been on the list, which was among the reason I chose that course, besides the fact that I've liked biotechnology since and even prefer it to mph. God jus dey answer my prayers |
