You people will come and be forming economists online. Talking about roads and bridges, can he initiate a project not included in the budget bearing in mind that he is still making use of the budget prepared by the former governor? Please mention 5 roads and bridges Ajimobi commissioned within the first 6months of his administration.

Please this a pure lie, there is nowhere over 50 percent of farm produce rot. Its a lie made up by lazy research/data analyst or would you as a farmer leaves your over 50 percent of your farm produce to rot?

Dangote tomato processing plant just shut down again after six months of production for lack of raw materials.

Where are those saying 70 percent of farm produce rot before it reaches consumers, that Nigeria needs processing plants?

The factory was forced to reopen in March due to the high cost of maintenance, estimated at N30 million per month and resumed with 100 tonnes per day out of 1,200 production capacity. Six months later suppliers couldn't meet just 8.3% production level.

In this article, I said, "it is now obvious that the issue is not just the lack of tomato processing factory but also the lack of necessary raw materials."

"It is the shortage of fresh tomatoes that fuels the demand for imported tomato paste and also explains why the price of fresh tomatoes fluctuate with dollar liquidity."

Nigeria is a very poor country with exaggerated capacity or how does one explain 23.1% unemployment rate, 55.4% underemployment/unemployment of youths and 85 million extremely poor people?

Good. Thanks for enlightening me but I honestly feel that not all tomatoes farmers know about Dangote tomato processing plant. Hence because dangote's can't get enough raw materials does not mean there are no raw materials

Nigeria is the Largest producer of Tomato in Africa and also the largest importer of Tomato paste in Africa .....

shows how poor we are doing in terms of processing and post harvest handling. How can about 50percent of our production be wasting every year. It is simple we are just producing so that our tomatoes can get wasted. Imagine if we could just process 80percent of the tomatoes wasting every year?
