Formerly, FM radio stereo used to be one of the mainstream features of both mid-range and flagship android devices, but as time goes on, phone OEM began ditching the FM radio feature on their newer flagship devices.

Taking for example, the Samsung OEM; we all know that for long now, Samsung have maintained two major categories of flagship devices, which are the Samsung Galaxy S-series and the Samsung Galaxy Note series.

For the Samsung Galaxy S-series, Samsung began ditching the FM radio stereo feature from Samsung Galaxy S4, making the Samsung Galaxy S3 the last Samsung S-series device to feature FM radio.

While on the Samsung Galaxy Note flagship category, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 marked the end of era for Samsung Galaxy Note series device with the FM radio stereo feature, as other Samsung Galaxy Note series thereafter, 5 years and counting now are being produced without FM radio.

HTC ditched the FM radio feature from the HTC 10 device, while the likes of Huawei, Sony, Xiaomi have also ditched the radio feature on their newer flagship devices.

LG might be an exception here, for even LG latest flagship devices like their older ones still come with the FM radio stereo feature and they are not ditching it yet. This can easily be seen in the LG G6 and the current flagship LG V30 devices that still featured FM stereo.

What could actually be the rationale here for ditching the FM radio feature; is that OEM believe that people no longer enjoy tuning and listening to their favorite radio station or they consider it an obsolete technology.

But for you do you see this new trend of ditching FM radio features in modern flagship device a hit or miss? is it a welcome development or do you think that these OEM should go back to status quo with the FM radio feature on modern flagship devices?

The truth is i have been a little bit down and unable to get a sound sleep since yesterday night.

I met this cool lady like a month ago, what really got me attracted to her was her beauty, calmness, and her carriage. We started talking and i asked her out the following week: she just kept smiling and that was all her response, so since then, she do branch at my laboratory where i do my research work whenever she's done with her lectures. We do have great time gisting and all she's fun to be with it and all my friends like her.


Two weeks after, i invited her to my place and she agreed, though she couldn't meet up the first day she promised to come due to her reading schedule, but she later came the following day even though i thought she might not come that day because rain fell heavily around the time she promised to show up, though the rain later stopped but was still drizzling. I was so happy when her call came in and went to pick her up, i welcomed her to my place warmly and we started talking, she was seated on the chair and i sat on the table facing her, we had a great talking time and we laughed over many things.

As a normal guy i tried to make a "harmless" move to kiss her but she ignored by turning her face sideway with a warm smile, i also played along and told her to feel free. We gisted for a while and i made another attempt but encountered same fate, she later told me she'd soon be leaving because it was late already and rain was already drizzling, i was already lying on my bed and she was still sitting, so i stood up and made the last move which she also ignore with her warm smile. So i escorted her home and when I got back home, she sent a thank you text on my watsapp and we started chatting. I later told her how i find it difficult to read her mind due to her smile and calmness: her response was unexpected, she told me she doesn't know how to say it, that she only want us to be friends with nothing attached, i was so shocked and confused, she said she would advise me to look for someone else, i felt so bad and agitated. I really love her so much, i just don't know what to do to get her back. I asked her whether i've done anything wrong and she said NO. Please i need your help house. I don't Want to lose her at all.

However, the confusing part of it is some of these phones are tagged "water resistant" while some are tagged "water proof" by the manufacturers. So I want to use this medium to clarify you and enlighten you on the difference between water resistant and water proof phones.

Another tech term we usually come across whenever phones with this feature are released is "IP68 certifications". So let's take a closer look of what it means and how it's related to this topic.
  


Meaning of IP68 certification

This certification is given to electronic devices that passes a certain level of test specially meant to check if the device is dust proof and water proof. In other words, all IP68 certified handsets are water proof.

But why do manufactures use the word water resistant and sometimes water proof?

Smartphone makers refers phones that are IP68 certified, and are designed in such a way that the ports are sealed (ports like audio jack, micro USB etc) come with a rubber cover that seals off the opening as water proof phones.

While they refer phones with IP68 certification and ports not closed as water resistant.

Difference Between Water Proof Vs Water Resistant

If your phone is IP68 certified and have all its ports sealed with a rubber material, it is water proof.
But if your phone is IP68 certified and all or some of the ports are open,

Summary
So in conclusion, there is really no much difference, a IP68 certified handset will survive under water as long as the basic requirements are fulfilled i.e. max depth / time under water etc.

Meanwhile, you need to be extra careful with the handset that are water resistant or the one that does not come with the ports sealed. You need to dry such handsets if they were submerged, and never plug in the power for charging for at least 24 hours – you need to be sure the ports are completely dry.

For handsets with ports sealed you don’t have to worry about, only thing is to make sure that the ports are sealed before using handset ......

Few years going forward, things really got nasty. The guy impregnated two other ladies, making her very depressed and frustrated. So she left him and had since over 7 years now been with the two kids and the guy had since then neglected her her and not even bothered about his kids; mind you, there was never a legal marriage between the two of them.

Now on my own part, I was a virgin when I met her. I promised to do this once it clicked and behold it clicked.

I had stayed at home for 5 years after graduation that I almost was contemplating suicide. I did menial jobs ranging from Concrete mixer to Building Mason just to survive. Several time I logged in on Nairaland during resting hours and I kept on seeing the skills that could land someone a job by one favorite poster here.

I decided to save up money and learn any of them, so I chose Web Design. From the proceeds of my menial jobs as from last year, I looked out for a company that I could learn the in-depth of the program, and that was also affordable. A friend referred me to IIHT(India Institute) in Lagos.

After I completed my class, we did a project and I came out excellent. They linked me up to one of their partners who offered me a web-manager job. After some months, I got another two job offers to act as a web design instructor in another IT firm.

After comparing Salary (Because of economy) I opted for the foreign firm offer. Right now I just rented my own apartment after three months of working with them.

Who says IT Education is not the easiet way out. of unemployment in Nigeria.?
