Rashduct4luv:If you agree the prophet completed Islam, why introduce prohibitions that was unkown to the prophet. There were many issues the companions were silent about since the prophet didn't issue statements on them but are now considered haram by modern scholars and many Muslims think these scholars are infalible. In future, many more things would be declared haram by the scholars. You didn't answer any of the questions in my previous post. In argument, statements are supposed to address questions raised by the opposition, but yours didn't. That's a sign of one who isn't ready to listen to argument or accept truth. Goodbye!!! |
Lets establish your position on the following (1) Da'wa is sunnatic. I bet you agree with this (2) To name a day for the purpose educating without attaching acts of haram to it is not bid'a. Concur? (3) To mark such days with special kinds of prayers like the christians do on their days is bid,a. I assume you agree. Your response of agreement or disagreement to the questions above will determine my final words. |
Rashduct4luv:But the hadith didn't command the strangers to enjoy their oppression. How does world hijab day compele men to see ladies? If the methodology is bad why not advocate a change of methodology instead of condemning the hijab day in totality. |
Rashduct4luv:Islam started as a minority and will return to being a minority according to hadith of the prophet(SAW). Simply returning to the ways of our pious predecessors will not stop uninformed non-Muslims from criticizing us. However, we should not be quiet, one who is oppressed ( denying us our rights is oppression) should speak out. We just quote books written by scholars to ourselves and thereafter fail to inform people outside Islam on what islam truely is. That is like signing our own "warrant of oppression" |
Rashduct4luv:We are being criticized hence some have taken up the challenge to educate the ignorant once from amongst the people of the book yet folks from within Islam try to beat then into silence by declearing their actions haram. To make my arguments clearer, If prior to Ramadan I invite people to lecture for the purpose of reminding them on the rules of the Ramadan fast, will you term my action bid'a?. A day like the one being discussed serves only to education the billions of ignorant non-Muslims that it is the Muslim woman's right to wear her hijab and to do away with the tag that a woman in hijab is a terrorist or the often heard assumption that she was forced to wear it. However while we are at this, we should realise that the aim is not to celebrate by going to the Masjid to offer special kind of prayers like the people of the book do on their days or by declearing such days public holidsys as this would clearly be bid'a. We can demand for our rights by sensitizing, not by celebrating. The non-Muslims are demanding their rights but we are stoping our muslims brothers from demanded our collective rights. I believe I have made this clear enough, I may not respond to subsequent statements. |
Rashduct4luv:A research doesn't have to be scientific for it to be tagged open minded. Back to the main discussion on this thread. One can set aside a date to raise awareness on certain issues of importance. This however does not signify a veneration of that day hence can't be classified as haram, just like people choose to lecture on certain days prior to Ramadan to raise awareness on rules to be followed when the fast commences. I agree that days such as world Hijjab day shouldn't be celebrated like the people of the book celebrate their days but to term the harmless act of raising awareness on that day bid'a is "laughter inducement". My last words to you on this issue !!! |
Rashduct4luv:Most people already have their minds made-up on what they consider Haram or Halal either by the rulings of their Imam or their own personal preference. Hence I will not argue or attempt to persuade one whose mind is likely made-up. Mankind tend to accept more effortlessly what he discovers by means of an open-minded research than what he was argued into believing. |
BalogunIdowu:Wanted to say the same thing. Sometimes I wonder if we think before accepting and repeating certain declarations. Soon, they will make breathing haram. Interestingly the early muslims didn't declare just anthing haram, they simply remain quiet on whatever Allah and his messanger did not mention. |
Ride on. More ink to your pen. |
Nice job. We want things like this on front page. But what we get are celebrity rumours and gossips. |
Well, our laws have many loopholes and politicians use that to their advantage. |
And Buhari promised to quench your hunger as soon as he becomes president. So if you're still hungry after more than 3 years of Mr Buhari's presidency, then there's no hope for the rest pf Nigerians. |
CyberWolf:A very likely occurrence. But Op is giving different excuses to marry her by force and I wonder why he wants our opinion in the first place |
enemyofprogress:He wouldn't have behaved differently if he were a non muslim You wouldn't have commented differently if you were a muslim Anger and violence dwells in all of mankind, some are able to suppress theirs. |
Running to gain some sympathy before elections and thereafter recoils like a snail. |
Pele and Maradona will soon commit suicide over messi matter. |
Thanks man. Reading... |
Vtrd:Hahaha and his tongue is in constant interaction with Mr Buhari's back-passage |
None. They have a common goal........ "thiefing" |
Sunofgod:Where did he say he did it for Islam. Aren't pastors and priests defiling underage children too? If the news is about a "man of God" you will view the thread and take off without commenting, but because you saw "Islamic teacher" , you joyfully stamped your bigotry here. The tendency to commit crime is an inbuilt nature of man irrespective of religion or tribe. |
This pastors won't prophesy anything aside death and hardship. |
Thanks OP |
Another politician disguised as pastor. |
seedsower:Apart from that NCC isn't serious. They previously stated that their only concern is calls and messaging as if the use of internet and web services isn't part of communication . It was NCC that pressured operators to charge 4 Naira per SMS, before then it was 7 Naira within same network and 14 Naira to other networks. You're right though but NCC's poor regulation of data is another factor. |
All this is nonsense. We want cheap data |
On the contrary sir, above 80% of Nigerians are actually gullible. |
OsamaB:Ooh, I wanted to believe the official statement from NIMC. Those confused fellows can take a life-time to get the cards ready. |
When most registered Nigerians have not been issued their cards. As at now, only those who registered earlier than 2014 can get their cards . |
