ACNs aggressiveness is quite interesting, lol. Perhaps they'll be successful in turning the PDP into the opposition party grin
It's a big dream then. I think getting more sits from the PDP in 2011 will set the stage for 2015. ACN can actually do it probably with Buhari's CPC and APGA.

PoliticsRe: Chime Holds Secret Meeting With Fashola, Fayemi by HamidO1(m): 11:04pm On Jan 08, 2011
There are also indications that former Military governor of Lagos stae, Marwa might join the ACN in Adamawa State, saw it on the news yesterday that he left the PDP. It's very important that the PDP loses as many state as possible in 2011.
PoliticsRe: Chime Holds Secret Meeting With Fashola, Fayemi by HamidO1(m): 10:56pm On Jan 08, 2011
I like the ACN so much. It's becoming scary the way most people that can't find their feet in PDP are rushing to ACN, most of them tend to go back when they win , then they'll need PDP folks who are definately experts in stealing public funds. The good ones should be welcomed though.

PoliticsRe: Lesson Froms Delta Rerun; Jega And Niggerians. by HamidO1(m): 10:33pm On Jan 08, 2011
maddock:
I think maybe in my post I concentrated too much on Jega which I ought not to, but my point is that we Nigerians like critising and complaining but if given that same opportunity we would do same. I don't criticise or complain about the goverment because I do know for sure that the people there are just like anybody you find on the street. The only difference is that one has the opportunity and the other does not.
Sorry, but it's wrong to think all Nigerians will do the same if given the oppurtunity. Jega might not be able to change the whole system considering the existing decay but he'll certainly make a difference. Jega is not just "anybody" mind you.
PoliticsRe: Lesson Froms Delta Rerun; Jega And Niggerians. by HamidO1(m): 10:21pm On Jan 08, 2011
@OP, your judgement for me is a bit to early considering the circumstances surrounding the conduct of that re-run election. INEC had to conduct the election within 90 days of the judgement I think, which makes it very imposible to wait for the new voters register. I guess everyone now understands why Jega insisted on a new voters registar, he already said it before now that there is no way a free and fair election will be conducted with the old register, which he was forced to do based on the time frame.
For every other thing that happened on that day, I think Jega had little to do with it. Is Jega suppose to do the job of the Nigerian police??Is Jega suppose to protect the ballot boxes?? We shouldn't blame the guy, blame our desperate politicians who will stop at nothing to sabotage INEC's efforts. PDP is just to desperate for me.

PoliticsRe: Today: Ghana Has Joined The Club Of Oil Producing Nations by HamidO1(m): 9:37pm On Jan 08, 2011
^^^ Thats quite simple. Nigeria is a very good example. You have a select few enjoying the wealth gotten from oil proceeds while majority suffer. Oil spillage, gas flaring are big hazards to the life of people in the oil producing areas and before you know it they begin to complain. Do you want to argue thathuh?
Jokes EtcRe: Yes Or No by HamidO1(m): 9:32pm On Jan 08, 2011

Adonike:
They will certainly face a lot o challenges ranging from militancy to oil spilage, etc. The benefit of Oil to any nation is DEBATABLE! God bless Nigeria!
Highly debatable, before you know it one or more regions will start claiming ownership leading to hatered and corruption.
Jokes EtcRe: Yes Or No by HamidO1(m): 9:23pm On Jan 08, 2011
Yes, I have a passion for football

Do you??
PoliticsRe: Today: Ghana Has Joined The Club Of Oil Producing Nations by HamidO1(m): 9:20pm On Jan 08, 2011
I really hope Ghana will learn from the mistakes made by Nigeria. An oil based economy might not be the best. Oil could be a big blessing to a Nation and at the same time can easily tear a Nation apart.
