I agree with you to an extent, the cross rivers are one people in peace accepting their state for development... Just as our lives are being affected so is the life of the Russians and other Oil producing countries apart from Saudi who knows what they are doing with the USA to cause this on Russia not minding others.

In agriculture, this regime has tried, it's target is 60% non oil products and 40% on oil so that we can live in the long run better which will evenly develop all regions but it's not easy when it comes to diversifying, If you are a business man you will know this that if you want to have another branch as bigger compare to the head office that your stocks will testify because you are trying to break the hurdle of limitations in your present empire for growth so you won't have much stock like before you started building the new one and why is it so?
It's because a lot needs to be spent most times above your budget that most businessmen head for loans which affects but with time you become far better because it's worth it.
The election year of any developing country affects its economy. Then Insurgence is another problem.
Though no regime is perfect but do you think without the little diversification into the Agricultural and Industrial part of the economy that the rate of dollar to Naira would have been same?
It would have been far worst because of our sole dependence on the oil for revenue...
Farmers and Agriculture workers or owners are one of the riches in this regime.
I pray to God we achieve this 60% non oil and 40% revenue generation then we will thank him for laying the foundation for this.
But Nigerians have been calling for this diversification so why complain now?

Darkness is just for a while but JOY comes in the morning and we won't die in our night, Nigerians.

No government is a magician, what we need is gradual increase in power and with time it will be adequate through diversification to other means of propagation of light. Do you really know the magnitude of power?
If there's only development in power will the agricultural and industrial aspect of the economy decay do you see it as a good business because my knowledge in economics about demands and supply says; excess supply means low cost of price of goods and services so will you call it a good business if you are one of the owners or investors of the power sector?
