Delta State University is located in Anioma.
where in Anioma?

Is it a campus?

The last i checked it is in Abraka.

Asaba should have a University.

Nothing have changed since APC came to power.

It is exactly how GEJ left it.

I am glad that PMB will be leaving in 2019.

APGA is making the reelection of PMB much easier with this move. They will rob PDP of much needed votes in the SE but would not affect anything in the north. cheesy

I am laughing here as I imagine the face of that pro biafran in the polling boot casting his vote for an Hausa presidential candidate on the flag of APGA

Nothing like that.

Nigerians will decide between PDP, APGA AND APC.

Anything can happen. It should never be a two horse race.

I am very happy with this development.

I am very happy that my people are finally waking up to the potential of APGA as an alternative to both PDP and APC.

Good Morning Nigeria!

GOLDEN TULIP ONITSHA

Wat that place needs is land cleared at the back to build a horse riding school and course.

It will add value to the hotel and require the same land size used for golf course.

This is how u build an economy.

U simply dont stop, just keep topping up and expanding.

Aba people will now have to start producing horse riding wears.

Aniomas are one of the most accomplished Igbo stock

look at the number of great people anioma has produced

besides asaba and other anioma towns is the way it is because the past governments didn't give those areas attention

I believe we are seeing some changes now that an anioma man is in charge

Under okowas tenure alone he has repaired the asaba airport and built Stephen keshi stadium

This goes to show you what aniomas can achieve if they are given a state
Is dat so?

Wen will you people request University of Asaba?

In the whole Anioma, not one University but Warri has 2?

Nna, sometimes i start wondering why Igbo people have to be so problematic in areas that are straight forward.

Y SHOULD ANYBODY BUY DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS SOLELY IN THE WHOLE SOUTHEAST, WEN DEY HAVE NOT BUILT POWER PLANTS? huh angry
PoliticsRe: . by hammer6F:
The main point here is the South east has a coastline and the same way Federal government built deep seaport in Lagos, they should do so in the East.

It is unsatisfactory for all goods to arrive in Lagos and be transported through water ways, train and road to other parts of the country.

The SS/SE are not landlock like the North.

There ought to be a deep seaport in Opobo/Bonny and another in Akwa Ibom, if not CROSS Rivers.

Always deceiving yourself. Were you deaf when Ambode and other Lagos state government officials were calling on the FG to open up other ports in the country few months ago? An Igbo man is currently the minister of transportation and he is doing everything possible to open a deep seaport in badagry instead of dredging the onne port to make it a deep seaport and we are here still blaming Yoruba.
Afonja, this must be torture for you.

U sit with us here from morning to night, y dont u go and talk to your yoruba people?

Ambode is calling for River ports of recent when the blockage in Lagos got out of hand.

More deep seaport in Lekki and another in Badagry, plus the other two already in operation and u say it is igbo people that are greedy.

Upper-Iweka yesterday evening.
The best mode of transport for the East is railway.
Railway is a mass transit mode of transport that can move over 100 people in one go
It will help to reduce road congestion.
Southeast should start a feasibility study into railway system for every part of the southeast.
PoliticsRe: . by hammer6F: 9:42am On Aug 25, 2018
I laugh wen our SS/SE politicians will be decieved to carry any project Yoruba suggest on their head like it is their idea.

This is how, Yoruba started shouting restructuring during Nnamdi Kanu activism, all of a sudden Igbo leaders started shouting restructuring.

How many Yoruba mention restructuring today?

There's something i'm struggling to understand though. If they shut down AIIA Enugu over the christmas period last year, with the excuse that they wanted to fix the runway, how come there was this uproar a few months ago about the decrepit state of this same AIIA runway that they shut the airport to fix? huh
Look, wen Stella Oduah said she would build an International Airport in Enugu, Yoruba press threw everything they had at her.

Wen i say yoruba press, i mean Tinubu media house i.e Sahara Reporters and TVC.

OBJ declared war on GEJ. (the origin of hatred for GEJ till date)

They got into government on the back of Buhari, the first thing they did was to change the design of Enugu Airport.

They could not kill the project becos it had already near completion stage.

We all know Stella Oduah son was later murdered at a Turkish Hospital, wen they could not get her.

The truth of the matter is Yoruba never wanted Enugu International Airport just as they dont want a deep seaport in the East.

Any government that build a deep seaport in the east will be declared an enemy of Yoruba but they want to build railway to the East becos of oil and gas cargo.

You must be hallucinating. The one they did prior to the war, you handed over to the Ijaws. Why can't you guys just contain your emotion and discuss reasonably? This is not how to build bridges and foster unity. Ali Igbo Development forum is working hard to unite all Igbo group, including the Ikwerres, allow them to complete their work. Throwing up emotional comments will only end up drawing bad blood.

u said the truth. To the sad extent that enugu is now being said to be more beautiful than ph. We cant even talk of security. Nightlife in ph has almost died because of killings. Infrastructure in ph is fast decaying...only a shadow of its former glory. And this was the richest city of the old eastern region.

The ikwerres should ask the igbos for forgiveness and come to the table to discuss how to move forward as one. Most igbos would rather go to lagos and establish than come to ph. Its really sad.

As for amechi bcoming president on an igbo ticket....lol...i wish him well. If he becomes president on igbo ticket then the ikwerres wont say again that they are not igbos
Not so bro, Igbo cannot keep making the sacrifice and for wat?

Amaechi will be supported becos Igbos know Ikwerre are Igbo but the issue of Igbo denial might work against Amaechi and not to his benefit.

There is nothing like handing Igbo Presidency to opportunitist Igbo so they will stop denying, being Igbo.

That dont exist.

If any state will be created out of Rivers, It should be Kalabari state, with the exception of Okirika, Bonny and Opobo, as well as Ogoni.

Boundary need to be redrawn between Rivers and Bayelsa. Ekpeye in Bayelsa should rejoin Rivers.

This is who ordered the abandoned property.

The person standing next to him is the Then Prime Minister of Great Britain, Harold Wilson in 1969.

Alfred Diete Spiff was only 26 year-old Rivers State Governor.

Today, how many British Prime Minister visits Rivers or when was the last time they visited Rivers State.

They got everything from Diete Spiff free.

PoliticsRe: . by hammer6F: 8:23pm On Aug 24, 2018
The secret is Igbo people.

That was why the jealous ones had to take their property in the first place.

Well I hope they do something symbolical but I highly doubt it.
If they level a huge part of Port Harcout and hand it to eastern Gov for Igbos, u will get inflow of investment from the likes of Dr Maduka, Ifeanyi Uba and Co.

That area will be developed and becos of the guarantee, investment will spread to other areas.

Oil companies will return.

They might have created an alternative to Lagos.

Give another 20 years, you will not recognise Port Harcourt again.

My writing was not in Defense of Ikwerre people. To me personally, Igbo don't needs those properties back. We have acquired bigger and better properties since then.

They need us now far much than we need them.

On a side note; I didn't know Mama peace will make such a comment. And if she did, the wasn't wrong about it because the natives of port Harcourt will find it hard to afford those houses he was building.
Igbo dont need that property back but they require a signal for them to have confidence to invest in Port Harcourt again.

I have bought land in port Harcourt and resold it becos my dad said so.

It is better for them to clear one area and hand it to Eastern Govs to distribute to Igbos free as compensation for their properties taken from them after the war.

They need to do something for there to be healing.

Thank you for saying this very important point that I personally have said in the past. A lot of igbos don't know that it was Actually the Ijaws that instigated the Abandoned property saga in the old rivers state. It WAST NOT the ikwerre people. The Ijaws saw a perfect opportunity to become inland dwellers and they took it. Historically, Ijaws are river nomads just like the Fulani's.

Also It was also the Ijaws that instigated the Igbo denial syndrome in the old Rivers state because they were Marginalizing the sub Igbo groups politically after the civil war.

In fact, ikwerre didn't really take much properties from Igbos in comparison to the Ijaws who were more desperate to have a foothold inland.
Wat have the Ikwere done to make peace with the Igbo since then?

I know Amaechi was accused by Mama Peace of building for Igbo people in Port Harcourt, when he began the greater port harcourt project.

Should Ikwere not be thinking of returning Igbo people property or commence New Estate development for Igbos?
PoliticsRe: . by hammer6F: 7:51pm On Aug 24, 2018
horsepower101:
Actually, a lot of south east Igbos have moved into port Harcourt massively over the years and established so many successful ventures. Basically, they have gotten back 10 times of what they lost during the war. So many new developments and houses in port Harcourt is actually owned by SE Igbos. The ikwerre people are beginning to realize that their hostilities in the past didn't really give them any advantage over the rest of the Igbos. They are far much more tolerant today because of it.
Actually, it was the Kalabari in Bayelsa, Alfred Diete-Spiff that ordered the abandoned property against the Igbo immediately after the war.

His people were the major gainers from that policy.

The blow back is the fragmented relationship between Igbos and Ikwere.

Investment moving from Port Harcourt to Lagos including Oil companies.

Whilst Lagos boomed and blosomed, port harcourt dwindled and became gloomy.

Even Kano is fighting to keep Igbos in their City. They know their worth.

Lagos, wont even allow us open an international airport in the East becos they want to divert our traffic west.

Ikwere should go back to the SE and make a bold declaration of brotherhood and guarantee that will see movement of investment and people back to port harcourt. How Igbo ended up massively in Lagos is still unbelieveable to me, clearly, Port Harcourt is within their region.

No more island mentality for Ikwere. They are not an island.

FG only Concessioned 4 international airports
That is yoruba hand work and why they were quick to remove GEJ but thank God the airport structure is already in place.

Once we see GMB out, we return things to where we stopped off in 2015.

Enugu is an international airport, dont ever let anybody tell you any different.

They will all die where igbo people are concerned.

They want us to perpetually live and pay them tax in their regions, whilst we abandon ours.

It cannot work with this present generation.
