The Biafra issue is a different one and the view you have is that of one school. Igbos are comfortable having a country of theirs without South-south but the present agitation is political and all they are trying to do is to create instability because of PDP's loss to Buhari. I won't write about other South-south States but Rivers State that I know very well. If a paternity DNA test is conducted in Rivers State one will trace at least 50% Igbo in all ethnic groups apart from Ogoni. A maternity test will yield at least 70% apart from Ogoni. So in a nutshell apart from Ogoni, all other ethnic groups in Rivers State are related to Igbo by blood be it Kalabari, Okrika, Ekpeye, Ikwerre, Etche, Abua, Odual, Andoni, Degema, Ogba, Ndoni, Engenni, Ibani, Eleme etc.

Igbos marry far more Yorubas than they marry south-southerners.

So please, on what basis do Igbos claim to be ''special brothers'' with the south-south?

A prim.root (short for primitive root) is a linguistic term, and does not refer to a biological plant, let alone a broom. A prim.root refers to the origins/meanings of a word. If you knew linguistics, you'd have seen the term pop up all over the place (Check the screenshot attached to this comment.)

Another coincidence, the Hebrews natively call themselves 'ivri'/'ibri' and their language 'ivrit'/'ibrit'. Notice the interchange between 'b' and 'v' used in hebrew, a feature also common in Igbo, for example ibu/ivu, abubu/avuvu, etc.
