What ECOWAS did was highly illegal and was done on the orders of the white man. I noticed Buhari avoided making any comments to the press regarding the Gambia crisis, and delegated it to the Foreign minister Onyeama.

Something told me that he may net get a chance to reveal his views on the Gambia issue.

Notice that the first Dein, Ebonka, meaning kindred is greater, clearly had an Igbo name, before the Edo corruption of names started. And we can still see Adigwe( clearly Igbo) surfacing in list, despite strong Edo influence in the area.

I remember asking Agbontaen how exactly did the first Dein of Agbor end up with an Igbo name, when Igbos are supposed to be migrants in the area, he as usual, went livid like most irrational Igbophobic folks, and deflected the question and finally ended up arguing that Ebonka is not an Igbo name, , that it's an Ika name.

You are too funny for words. This word 'Udo", - does it have the same meaning in Edo language, that it has in Igbo language? A word could mean totally different things in several different languages, whose lexicon contain the same word. Do not forget that intonation and inflections also come into play, when it comes to decoding the meaning of a word.

The history of the Urhobo generally began from an Edo territory supposedly around where the ancient town of Udo and Benin City are currently located. At the end of the Ogiso dynasty, many Urhobo and Edo-groups left Udo in different directions, each at its own pace, in search of more peaceful territories. It was natural that in those compelling circumstances, peace-loving and less powerful Edo-groups had to leave the territory to seek fortunes in less populated but more economically resourceful territories.
