thanks d9ty7 for the mention. would be back to read. |
it's a good thing that you are interested. my thoughts are that his problem may not exactly be that of confidence. well it could be and at the same time it could be something else. Try to get close to him. When he sees you as a friend and not just his teacher, he will be freer with you which could make the learning process easier and also afford you the opportunity of knowing what exactly his problem is. |
nice story. well done audrey Timms. i had actually suspected that Fi had another reason for betraying her brother besides her anger for his neglect. i also think something is up between herself and Gio's roommate which may or may not be related to why she's taking sides with Jessica |
i'm back to read @kingphilip I've been on guest mode edit yea..superbly written indeed. never knew of the sanctity of rodential life, lol. nice writeup Ohibenemma. |
if kingphilip is here then i guess it's worth reading |
Skimpledawg:No 'happily ever after' ending o biko oga d9ty7. @op Welldone. Thanks for the story |
Op When was that pic taken? I even climbed worse vehicles then in Bauchi as a corper while acting as an adhoc staff of INEC |
I am using a BBC plan on my android. I have a problem checking my data balance. |
the story is nice but too short. Oh sorry. It's titled a 'short story'' ![]() |
Wow |
We hear you loud and clear Mr. IGP. but what do you say to people held in police cells in Edo state where the High Courts are locked and the most likely way out of the cell is to pay for bail? Especially as refusal to pay or, as we like to put it, insisting on the right to free bail after 24hours could mean be 'arraigned' before the mobile Court which the present CJ of the state has put in place right there in the State CID. It gets worse. An accused person is not allowed legal representation in the so called mobile Court which is presided over by a Magistrate. Once the matter is called, plea is taken or not taken depending on the offence, the accused person is then ordered to be remanded in prison custody apparently pending when the Courts are opened. That is complete injustice. But you can be certain that a suspect in the police cell would rather choose the 'lesser injustice' and 'settle' the officers at the station to avoid been remanded in prison indefinitely. |
@ op..I saw the invite laat night, thanks. Would be back to read. |
Here am i @ op Thanks for the mention |
@op wassup with all these angry husbands swinging their wives across their shoulders like a piece of clothing? if they must be carried, how about being carried in d arms of the husbands? did i tell you I'm enjoying the story? of course i am. keep it coming please. |
what joel has for mich is not love. love is not deceitful. love doesn't take advantage of the other person. no one in the family can speak for mich now cos they don't know the details/conditions for the marriage. mich lost her memory and he never deemed it fit to remind her of the terms of marriage. his family people are no longer disturbing him so he can now return her to her parents... abegi. m just too angry wt ds joel of a man |
@D9ty7 good job as usual. please where is tecno4life? |

Hot Hot Hot updates. Sir d9ty7, i hail you. happy new year. can't believe this story is about to end. mike was so wrong to have gone alone and i think clement is just finding excuses 'cause his brother is involved eben though he may not realise it |
hello zinton. this is a good thread. i've been searching nl for something like this recently. i have a 1st degree in law. but i wish to do my masters program in international relations. i am not too sure if it is a good choice though and so i am beginning to have second thoughts. i have been told, from enquiries, that i would have to do a post graduate diploma course first before the main degree program since i am switching between faculties. please what's your take on my choice of study? |
hi tiffany. i enjoy reading your story. i began the series from the beginning. i have an observation to make. the story has its background in Nigeria. as regards the divorce, the other party to the marriage need not sign any papers according to the matrimonial law here. this is how it is done. if mr. a chooses to divorce his wife mrs b (or vice versa), all he does is file the papers in court and serve same on mrs b. if she wishes to put up a defence, she can file her own papers and she can also testify in court. if mrs b isn't opposed to the divorce, she has two options. she could either stay away completely from the case, in which case it will be decided in her absence and most likely in mr a's favour. her second option is to file her papers informing court that she wants out too and on whatever terms she may choose. in whatever case, whether the suit is defended or not, the judge gets to decides the fate of the marriage eventually. sorry for the long write up. |
its bn a while since I last commented here. d9ty7, do you know what I am thinking? well, i'm thinking Clement will suggest barr Benson for vicky. afterall, he has is about the best in town and the best is just what they need now. |

the story is nice but too short. Oh sorry. It's titled a 'short story''
