the mascherano's case was a ball-to-hand which doesn't attract a penalty according to football rules. the only place i fault the ref was awarding the second penalty. the contact with suarez was a slight one but he dove like he was pushed. but i'm not really sorry because barca too suffered poor officiating in the first leg - they were denied a lot of free-kicks and a clear penalty shoot.
di maria wasn't 100% fit but the coach was forced to put him in after much pressure from the fans. but don't blame them much, they met their masters and it's only right for them to take a bow.+
