He broke his metatarsal. . . . . .

If the guy just recently lost his job,I don't think it's enough reason to dump him if he's a great guy.She must have benefited from his handouts too while he was working.
Women have this tendency to cry foul when the tables are turned meanwhile they'll have no problems chopping off the guy in his good times.
Hopefully you can also graciously accept it when you get dumped by the new boyfriend, should you lose your job.

This guy is just a boyfriend, not even a fiancee.
The poster should hang in there and stop moaning.

Carrick would have helped Berbas course on the field. All those long shorts to the poor guy wont get the best out of him
Six weeks is a long time and i hope Scholes will do brilliantly in his absence.
we need carrick back quickly
Carrick would be back in a fortnight.
6 weeks is just an exaggeration. . . . . Our players don't stay out that long unless he is SAHA or Eduardo grin cheesy
In his absence, Anderson and Hargreaves are our best option.

justkunmi:
Hannibal

Yeah, Carrick is under-valued. We need him as soon as ever,
He is very sublime and tricky. I saw the clips of the trashing we gave Roma and I was amazed at the show Carrick put up.
He is a class act. .
We need him, if not for anything, for Berba. .
He's the reason that our front men get good supply.
His ability to play balls which split open defences is phenomenal, and is one of the reasons why Ronnie was able to get so many goals last season.
Very composed on the ball, and always seems to have a "backup plan" in case his space is closed down very quickly.

God bless Carrick. he woulda done a lot if he was there.
what would you say about mikels performance on that day?
I pray the dude gets injured
Carrick is the most under-rated midfielder in England.
I think his absence in the team is really affecting our performance lately.
He keeps things simple but effective. He retains possession well and he's creative when he gets the ball in transition.

Carrick has fantastic passes, long and short and he is good defensively with brilliant interceptions, peach passes and positional play.
He comes to United when we had a midfield at the level of a mid table PL team and turns it into class (with help from Scholes of course). 2 PL titles and Champions League with him. 18 Million -BARGAIN

WHen I say it's evwerywhere, I don't mean everybody!! I mean its not that hard to fine. Beseides I still insist the guys's too expensive. And good sex's not enough reason to tie yourself down to an irresponsible guy.
You never know. . . . . .
Rich women shag their drivers, gardeners for good sex.

So he has a reason to be irresponsible,  thats okay, but not in her life. He should look for someone else to be irresponsible to. I don't think a hard working girl should take that from any man. Men hate gold diggers, why should a lady tolerate that in a man.
Men put up with this 9 times out of 10. . . . .Letz indulge this dude until he gets a job.
Everyone keep saying he should dump him ASAP. . . . What is to say the next geezer won't be worse??

you don't get it do you. The guy's not dome dued who's just out of job and is deperatelyv trying to meet up to his responsibility. This guy's a someone dating a girl young enough to be his baby sister and dosent think its wrong to milk her dry. He uses the 'wife' thing on her when he knows he'll probably not marry her. He thinks his needs should come first before hers. . . He dosent have any qualms about her spending extravagently on him and his family. C'mon give me a break!! The girl's better off without him.
You seem to know more about this guy than the OP. . . . .  grin cheesy
The poster said he used to have a job before he lost it. . . . . .It shows he can be responsible if he wants to.
I think the babe should work hard and use her connections to get this guy a job.
Why are we comfortable with jobless women but we go gung ho when a man is jobless?? I thunk we are in the era of sex equality.

is der anything SAF is going to do to that?
we unusually burn out in the second half. does it have anything to do with our fitness level?
i can remember it happened in the game against Chelsea in Moscow and now Liverpool and Chelseas game showed the same thing.

SAF really need to start working on that. if we know we are going to be burning out in the 2nd half, why don't we bury chances and sit back and soak as much pressure as we can. But in a case where we score just a goal and retire, then thats a very bad sign and SAF should do sumfn quickly
It's the mentality of the players. . . . . It's like they expect Chelsea to come out throwing everything at them.
If we had gotten the 2nd goal when we were on top of them, it woulda been VOILA!!!!
Much of the blame should go to the midfield players. . . .They get too edgy and they just lump the balls forward aimlessly.
I coulda shot Rooney, Fletcher and Hargreaves if i was at SB yesterday. . . . . .

Hell, infidelity would be reduced to the barest minimum if good sex is available to all and sundry.

He's obviously irresponsible, I don't need a prophet to tell me that. If he's making serious effort to get a job, he wont act so irresponsibly. C'mon, he's type can only be lazy. If you look properly, he'll be happy to live that way for the rest of his life. I still say she should walk
Granted, he is irresponsible.
In a country like Nigeria where things go pear-shaped far too often, i wouldn't blame him.
Are u saying this dude would be satisfied to being a parasite for the rest of his life?? I doubt that.

yeah, RIO was superb and he really did well covering for Evans
We are getting back gradually and im hapi for that
We played well in the first half and SAT BACK as usual(Almost a carbon copy of Moscow).
Although, Blunder Sar's injury didn't help Fergie's tactical substitution.
I understand why he introduced O'Shea in the closing stages. . . . .Chelsea kept bringing in strikers.
Kalou, Drogba, Anelka in the same team prompted Fergie to add an extra defender to curtail their long balls.

Please, i think we both need to create a thread on Holywood FC and week in week out analyse how stupendously insipid they are on the field of play.

Carrick is out for a while. So he just has to make do with Scholes and Anderson, anytime Fergie decides to play him, that is. .

We play Boro at OT tomorrow.
I think the tension is off. Everyone can now enjoy the game.
Boro would be the springboard to our run. .
We have STRENGTH in depth.
Ferguson should be sticking to Owen Hargreaves n Anderson in the middle of the pack.
Their combo has worked wella for us in the past.

Especially Chelsea. They looked very very beatable.
Scolari is just still lucky. We'll see how he fares after the Dec/Jan games. .
Just sad we couldnt hold on for 10 minutes. .We coulda ended the record. .
We wasted the chance to beat Chelski in the FIRST HALF.
The trick to this kizzack is to score when u are dominating.
United's 2nd goal before half time woulda killed Chelsea's resistance. . . . .
JS Park missed a good chance just before half time and that was the turning point in the game.

Weneva i go visitn his folks, i knw hw much i spend doin "big girl" or "inlaw" sad
Yet he's never spent a DIME on my people. NEVA even bought "coke" or even sweet 4 anyone in my hse. He claims he is FOREVA BROKE yet encourages me 2 spend on his family & on him.
Mayb he does feel somtin 4 me,  i wldn't doubt that, but somtimes i think datz d only reason he's wit me.
Guys alwayz feel that we ladies r wit them 4 d money even when they hardly spend a dime on u! I only console myself wit d fact that somtim in d future, he might b man enough 2 actually strike gold, but what happens if he doesn't eva? Wld i b indebted 2 a life of misery FOREVA?!
One tin i knw about him is that, financially, he is not mature at all.  By d way, i'm 24 while he is 31. i shld b grooming myself for the altar not 4 doom!
Please undastd my plight. i'm not looking 4 a ready made man. i wnt somone i can grow wit in all aspects of our lifes. But wit his financial attitude, i doubt if i can stand it. Mayb i didn't mention one little detail. HE IS RILY GUD IN BED  grin

Le Chac. .
I'm not doubting Berba's abilities. He's good no doubt. .
When the game is not looking up, when things are not going as planned, the players need to improvise. Berba doesn't need to wait for things to be going well before he can show his stuff.
I know he'ld still come out though for us, but he needs to contribute to the game. .
Don't be in a haste, son!!
Our midfield failed him humongously. . . . .The defence and the midfield kept giving the ball away needlessly.
Besides, Dimitar has been involved in all the 2 goals we have scored since his arrival. . . .His shot was spilled by Cech for Park 2 score(remember??)
We need Carrick's vision and Anderson's crisp passes to enjoy Berbatov.

Exactly!
Its a league. Its still a stretch. Its good we've played arguably the toughest games in the season. Chelsea away, Liverpool away, Pompey away. .
Looking over to the next game. .
Things are looking good and we would enjoy this ride much more next year.
I would be chuffed to bits when the BIG 3 are taking turns to cop their defeats at Old Trafford next year.
Our home games would be against top teams and the away games would be against mediocre teams.
Clinching 3 points would be so easy and quick like the speed of light.

@Hannibal
Yes, Berba's 2 games had been against 2 of the best teams in the EPL . .but that doesn't still stop you from making runs. .causing threats or even having mere intentions to.
The most annoying thing Berba did yesterday was at a launch at attack Ronado started. Ronaldo rounded Mikel in the middle, outran Lampard and was looking for options upfront. No one was available except Rooney who was also running to catch up, but he was wrongly positioned to receive a pass. Ronaldo had to chill to allow more bodies upfront, by that time, the Chelsea defence was crowded and he lost the ball.
After that incident I looked around for Berba and I saw him strolling across the field as if nothing was going on. .
The guy was acting very complacent. .
Yes he is good and all, but he needs to be more aggressive in his play. .
I thunk i told y'all this in the beginning that Berba is not an out n out striker(He does the same job Rooney/Tevez do).
Don't get me wrong. . . . He has his strength but unfortunately, United haven't really played to HIS strength.
Lets be honest, the midfield didn't help a lot with so many misplaced passes. . . . I cannot remember Hargo/Fletcher making a crisp pass to Berba.
He is not the player u lump balls to. . . .He is no Drogba. He wants a precise pass on the ground(Carrick's specialty).
To get the best of Berbatov, we must play to his strength.

Its still early days. . I know. But he should start showing signs of good things to come. .

Good draw newayz, but we coulda had 3 points easily!!

The bridge was sooo looking shaky yesterday. .

PROUDLY UNITED cool
Things would take shape in October.
By first week in November(going to the Emirates), a good result there should haul us back to the top spot.
From what i have seen at the Bridge, it's United's title by a country mile. cool
