chamotex:Scholes would be overpowered in the midfield. . . Only Carrick understands Scholes as he quickly makes himself available to receive Scholesy's passes. I would trade Berbatov's fitness for Carrick as we speak. Carrick(so under-rated) but he has been our most productive midfielder. He reads the game superbly and moves to support his skillful and showboating team-mates. Carrick's vision to intercept passes and deliver passes through the eye of the needle makes him United's priceless jewel in the midfield. I think the big question is How many goals would we concede if any?United know what they are up AGAINST!!! This game reminds me of Pizzagate. Arsenal filled to the brim with raw confidence that they would beat Man Utd at OT. After 49 games unbeaten, any team would feel that way but United players raised their game and whacked em. Van Der Sar might not concede tomorrow. We need Hargreaves in the centre of the midfield as we have no Carrick!!! Anderson and Scholes combo cannot work. . . . .Ando runs forward when Scholes gets the ball thus leaving the gingerboy stranded. Hargreaves n Anderson work in tandem. . . The 2 of them have defined roles. .Hargo knows he has to SIT thus allowing Ando to roam as he likes. 4-2-3-1 is a perfect formation but we need STRONG central midfielders to play such. . . .Scholesy's legs are tired now. |
chamotex:4-3-3 would allow Chelsea's 5-man midfield to pass through like hot knife on butter. 5 strong midfielders(Mikel, Lampard, Ballack, Deco and Joe Cole) would walk through our 3 midfielders too easily. Lets play a FLAT 4 in the midfield with GRAFTERS like Park, Hargreaves and Anderson/Scholes and u would see a massive difference. It's no coincidence that JS Park is yet to lose a game in which he STARTED @ Man Utd(He must start tomorrow). ![]() |
chamotex:Rooney to provide width again?? He was wasted last weekend against the Scousers. . . . . . The only way we can beat Chelsea is to play 4-4-2 a la Moscow. Let Ronaldo and Park hug the touchline. . . . .Chelsea is vulnerable with wing play. Bosingwa's positioning is suspect. . . .Antonio Valencia, Olivia Kapo and Palacios taught me that. Should United get a counter attack down his flank, it's VOILA. ![]() Anderson's strength is the centre of the midfield with Hargreaves holding which allows the young Brazilian to drift 30 degrees. That was where he overshadowed Fab4(Emirates) and Gerrard(Anfield) last season. |
OMG 5-2 at the Allianz Arena this is serious @dayokanu Please explain what happened today?
Nothing happened!!! They were thoroughly beaten by the better side. Don't get me wrong. . . . . . .Bayern had countless shots on goal but they didn't make it count. Werder Bremen had 5 shots on goal and they scored from it!!! Thats what u call CLINICAL attempts. |
chamotex:Anderson is not a winger. . . . . . He would waste away if u play him in wide positions. 4-3-3 will not work against Chelsea. . . . . . We need width. Players that can hug the touchline and pin Ashley Cole and Bosingwa back. Without Chelsea's wing-backs. . . . . . They are powerless unless they return to Jose Mourinho's way of lumping balls to Drogba. Lets push em back the way Scolari defeated Sven Goran Eriksson in EURO 2004(He made sure Ronaldo kept Ashley Cole busy). . . . . England couldn't attack because Ashley Cole was busy for 90 mins romancing Cristiano's twinkle toes. ![]() |
i knw the blues fans are going to literally kill me for this, but i think they have faired well so far with their new style of play because they ve played so far with teams who has allowed them to play and most times played with em "lying down".In 2 matches that questions av been asked of them i.e Wigan and Tottenham game,i av seen them falter and stutter. The game tommorow is a totally different kettle of fish and i knw United is not a team you play with sticking to one game plan and am yet to see chelsea switch game plan in their recent games. This is not takin anythin away frm the champagne football Roman craves for and Felipe seem to be churnin out impeccably, but i still feel Chelsea is not there yet with this new style.A team that take the game to Chelsea now will av a freer passage than it was in the last 4 seasons with their "Rugby style".I am sure the game tommorow will be too tactically inclined and may tend to be boring sorta and end in a "drabby draw"a la Chelsea VS Liverpool last season @ stamford.I can't remember in recent times if United had lost 2 matches in a row(@ H help with that),and i dnt think it will happen now(though i hate to say that as an arsenal fan).Am predicting a goaless draw, and if anyone will win the game,it WILL be Manchester United. Those guys just knw when to turn the heat on.
Brilliant Post!!!! Arsenal's 49th unbeaten run(Oct 2004) Jose Mourinho's 42nd unbeaten run(Nov 2005) Lyon's 64th unbeaten run(Dec 2005) Chelsea's 84th unbeaten run(?? ?? ??) If any team can beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, it's Man Utd!!! |
debosky:Don't even think about it. . . . . I have Wenger's classics after Nani's showboating and Fletcher's amazing headers ripped y'all apart last season at OT. Wenger's face was so bloated u would wager he was 9 months pregnant. If u nudge me, i would paste it here. ![]() |
Cristalz:Lemme guess, WANKford Bridge got you cracking ur ribs, innit? Don't sweat it babes, we are killing those Chavs tomorrow. |
Cristalz:We can start Berba and play Tevez late in the game. He is known to come into games and INFLUENCE it. His energy would run Terry and Carvalho down. This is ma formation/prediction and the line-up. ![]()
|
debosky:An off form Wayne Rooney is more potent than any player in Man Utd. Ronaldo cannot flourish without Rooney. . . . . Ferguson must stick to his HOLY TRINITY that fetched him 80 goals last season. Berbatov should wait for the Carling Cup game to show us what he can do OR he should be contented with a cameo appearance. I still remember the superb attacking play Rooney-Ronaldo-Tevez showed us on Wednesday but Tevez's effort was cleared OFF the line. The triumvirate work in tandem and they are the most potent strike force in the world!!! |
Don't do this to Dayokanu. He has repented!!!!! ![]() How can a team concede 5 goals at HOME?? This was the same poof crucifying Arsenal some months back, bloody ninny!!! His team was schooled at home by a very good Werder Bremen side. Thomas Schaaf was SPOT ON with his tactics until he took out the Swedish striker(Markus Rosenberg) and allowed Bayern to score!!! Bayern was woeful conceding goals a pub team wouldn't have conceded. ![]() Klinsmann should be sacked!!! It was 5-0 to the away team before Bayern scored their goals. ![]() |
slimghost:This formation is RISKY!!! Firstly, Rafael won't be allowed to play a game of this magnitude. Hargreaves and Anderson should be in the central midfield. . . .Scholesy would be overpowered by Mikel and Lampard. We need a bit of width too and no matter what Fergie does, WAYNE ROONEY must START!!! |
dayokanu:That was a different scenario entirely. The referee booked an innocent player who wasn't even involved in the foul. I am sure UEFA musta demoted the dude. . . .How can u book a different player? What was the REF thinking? mykali:Shut up u CUNT!!! |
Cristalz:Letz do the Arses a favour by beating Chelsea tomorrow at Wankford Bridge!!! If the Arses go 40 points clear of Man Utd, i have the belief we can surmount it. Chelsea are tough nuts. . . .They love making the top spot their own and with the FA shagging Terry n Lampard, u never know. |
Akolawole:They played extremely well. The lack of a killer instinct robbed em off tonight. Almunia made countless saves which ordinarily should be hitting the back of the net!!! The Arses now top the table temporarily. ![]() |
doyin13:Eboue's British accent turned Harry Redknapp off!! |
debosky:Eboue's first league goal in 71 league games!!! ![]() Now, Debosky would leave this posh Ivorien alone for a week. He has improved greatly and i am gobsmacked he can play as a left winger. Talk about versatility(plus he dives too!!) ![]() |
Stupid officiating. Eboue is at least 30 miles offside. Good move though!!! Bendtner!!!!! Jeeez. . . . .Arsenal shoulda scored 10 in the last 10 mins. Bolton's defence epitomises muppetry. They are all over the place. ![]() |
Bolton can never change the way they play. Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez!!!! I thunk Davies fouled Toure there. He pressed his shoulders down to head that corner home. Gael Clichy is a Arrow. . . . Why did he move away from the post he was guarding?? |
A score draw is written all over this match but i expect Man Utd to win. Cheese n Rice. . . . .We have everyone FIT but Carrick(ankle) and Vidic(suspension). Johnny Evans should partner Ferdinand in the back four with Evra and Brown retaining their positions. We need Hargreaves in the midfield to destroy Lampard n Mikel. . .and Fergie should keep Tevez on the bench till the 2nd half. Berbatov needs games(he must start). |
dayokanu:Result of the week, no doubt!!! Markus Rosenberg was a thorn in the flesh all evening. I was pissed when he got subbed in the 70th minute for that misfiring Boubacar Sanogo. How can Bayern Munich lose 5-2 at HOME?? ![]() It was even 5-0 until Bremen removed Rosenberg. . . . Had he stayed, it woulda been 9-0. ![]() |
onyinye2:Suya Hut?? Is it around the same neighbourhood?? Missy B:Just make sure u come back and explain how a 20 year-old babe would hit menopause. Show me such babes and i will show u a dinosaur in Agege. ![]() |
onyinye2:Pumbaa, no more Isi Ewu for u @ Finger Licking!! ![]() |
Missy B:Miss B, i would sue you if u don't stop!!! How can menopause set in at 20?? Are u kidding moi? |
Missy B:Menopause at 25?? ?? Is that normal? ![]() |
onyinye2:You are not serious!!!! Anyways, can u be ma Igbo tutor?? There's this new chic i need to spin-wheel but she can only understand Igbo. So i need you to gimme some Ifunanya lyrics. ![]() chika98:Eat a DICK, loser!!! |
chika98:Are u o'utta ya mind? Who is chatting shyte?? onyinye2:Pumbaa. . . . . .Don't make me whup ur phat ass with ma horse-whip. Whatz all that about? O dighi mma and Cherekwe ooooo?? Don't woo me in Igbo language, ma wifey is watching. ![]() |
chika98:Menopause don't start early for women with virgin wombs. A woman can make babies at 60 provided it's her first time of doing so. |
Omoolu999:It's not too late!!! A woman can have kids anytime she wants to IF she has never given birth before, so you are safe. If single mothers of 45 can get married, i see no reason why u cannot. Open up and socialise more. There are some kind of men interested in women like u. Good luck. |
