This time last year, I was at the hospital recovering from the loss of my baby. But today, the Lord has put another joy in my spirit. Please just whisper a "Thank you Lord" to Him on my behalf.

It looks like I'm the only June mama yet to welcome her LO. I can't walk properly, my vagina aches always, looks like my pelvic bone wants to break yet I'm not feeling the tiniest of contractions or even mucus. We are already in week 39.4 . When would this my oga come and see his mummy and daddy? I've told hubby that as from today we would be having sex morning and night so as to bring out this our oga sharp sharp, it's doing me like he wants to come July because I'm not even experiencing any contraction at all,i need him to come this month cos the wait is taking too long.

We join our faiths together on this thread and we say may the hands of the Lord rest upon you, may death be far away from you and your household, may you live long to eat the fruit of your labour, may he perfect his healing in your life and may his joy fill your heart and home.

Pls help me pass a message on the platform. I need prayers o, ever since I gave birth from one sickness to another. Am so depressed right now, admitted in the hospital for thrombosed heamorrhoid and had to do a mini procedure in the theater to remove blood clots. Now the pain is something else. Also vomiting and stooling

Pls you all should pray for me, after ttc for 3 yes I must be alive to take care of my child o

Yesterday seems not to be ending but the glory of God my mother went to the theatre for total mastectomy of the right breast and after 7hrs she was out in good condition and pains. I cried and couldn't thank God enough so sisters join me in thanking God as we ask him for strength upon her to endure the recovery phase as the pains seems unbearable but I know with God she will pull through. Just felt like taking over the pains for her to be free but I believe God who started this good work in her will see it to fulfillment. Good morning Sisters

Not at all o... I read somethings and I found out that I was not alone as some women also complained of the same thing. It just has this smell like a wet Socks. I don't know if anyone has ever experienced it on this thread as well.

Good morning mamas, please Sabi mamas I'm almost in m 39th week and I'm having this smelly discharge. It is not itching me but I don't know what could have caused this kind of smell.
I'm very careful with my vjay, I wash up everytime I use the bathroom with water only and I take care of it very well. I've been home for a while so I've not used a public toilet either. Please what can I do, the smell sef is not allowing hubby touch me. Help me please.

First of all, I say congratulations to you mama and I pray that affliction shall never arise in your life again, you will carry to term and deliver like the Hebrew women with
a healthy baby, a happy father and a strong mama. Secondly, I would advise you take things extremely easy especially in this stage, you won't be able to feel baby's movements yet till around second trimester. All you just have to do is take care of yourself, don't joke with your drugs, rest properly, no heavy lifting or exercise, I heard pineapple induces pregnancy so please steer clear
and most importantly don't stop praying and trusting God for his blessings. I wish you a stress free 9 months.

Please what kind of dance steps did she do? I need it for this exact tenant too. My mom said maybe I should be drinking hot water so he can vex and come out if heat is worrying him, instead of the cold water I'm taking that is making him feel very comfortable.
I've eaten pineapple yet nothing, done long distance walk of 2hrs(all I felt was pain), I even ate dates too and me with oga tried the bedmatics own again(for where, this guy no gree move out) coupled with prayers from my prayer warrior mother. Now I'm having serious vigilante syndrome plus heart burn (the one I didn't have all through till of recent). If anyone has any other idea please let me have it, I don't know how much he paid that he wants to use overtime, let him do and vacate so we start making preparations for the second tenant/tenants.

That was how one mom tricked her tenant with serious dancing that made the tenant think there was an earthquake. He shaperly came to the world.

My hospital said if by 40 weeks and this tenant doesn't want to vacate this building, we are going to drag his bombom out by force.

I have tried everything I can think of, been taking zobo, pineapple, dates since 37th week and I have added trekking long distance too yet no sign o. Abeg help a ftm. All this plus different styles of kpekus o!!! What do I need to do again?

Amen o. I'm good o my sister, this anxiousness is serious , I even went to the hospital to get checked and I was told that cervix is still shut closed. Please keep putting me in your prayers. May God take control of everything for everyone of us and give us great testimonies.

Birth story!!!!
Let me start from beginning of June. I was seeing my teamies dropping BA left, right and center which increased my anxiety level. I was tired of being pregnant and just couldn't wait to drop but at the same time I wanted baby to be 39weeks.
So on 8th of June I bought some dates and pineapples and ate with hope that something would happen but nothing. On Sunday I decided to pound yam but all I got out of it was backache at night.
Monday, I decided to go for a walk, walked for 2hrs non-stop, not too fast or too slow just normal pace. When I got home I felt some cramps but immediately I went to bed they stopped.
Tuesday came with mild cramps too, but when I lie down it disappears. Wednesday morning I woke up to cramps still but this time around they were frequent and didn't stop when I laid down. I went for mid-week service but since I wasn't so sure what actual labour was I told my husband we should branch hospital after church.
Got to the hospital around 7.30pm after laying my complain Dr decided to check me and said I was 3 to 4cm dilated, so no going home for me, my husband should go and bring my bags.
That was how our journey started like play, Dr said he would recheck me in 4hours.
By 12am a nurse came to shave me clean and did something funny, she called it enema (never heard of it b4 this time) she put a pipe up my anus and poured warm water through it so I can pass out faeces in liquid form. By this time my contractions had become more intense and frequent but bearable. By 1am Dr came to check me again and I was just 5cm, chai I wasn't happy o and I didn't realise all what I was feeling was still child's play.
I was tired and was just praying for a break in the contractions so I could sleep even if for 10mins but It wasn't to be. The pains were long and constant, when it comes I hit my hand on the iron of the bed, just to distract me from the pains, sometimes my hubby wud put his hand instead other times he would just hold my hands tight, by 5am Dr came in again and said 7cm, I was begging him for pain reliever or something to speed up the process but all he said was I am doing well and labour is progressing naturally as it should, I couldn't cry, I was advised to lie on my side, as I was passing out feaces, I was vomiting at the same time and leaking blood coloured fluid.
By 7.30 am I held my husband's shirt and was shouting that I was ready to poo oh, I didn't want to do again. So matron was called to check me and she said I was almost ready and burst my water. Then it was time to push and I was tired and weak, given glucose but as I didn't like it I didn't take it, a drip was passed. I was screaming off my head and pushing but baby wasn't coming out, my pushing wasn't doing the trick. So senior Dr was called in to come help me bring out baby with vacuum, he tried that but it didn't work so he used forceps instead after cutting me up. I felt instant relief when baby came out, was sutured up(didn't feel it cos I was numbed) baby placed on my chest for a couple of mins after he was cleaned. In all I thank God almighty, my baby came exactly 2years one month after our wedding anniversary at 39weeks3days, he came with full sleeping anointing, so far so good no stress.
I wish every waddling Mama strength in this journey and safe delivery.

As I said, the last days seem the longest. Those are not enough reasons (to me sha), wait a while LO will be here before you know it. Leave the question askers biko and tell mumsy to massage you instead of asking kwesion. On the swollen feet ish, check your salt intake cos too much salt might be responsible. Also try to put up your feet as often as you can manage... sorry you hear

being a first time mom is really a thing of patience.... Thank you very much for the response.

Wen I was preggy, I was always anxious waiting for baby everyday and night. I did all d exercises, eat date, had sex and all, I was also thinking of inducing labor but guess what? Baby did not come until his 40th week, he came with much ease tho

As for hiccups and swollen legs, it's still normal, I had it till delivery and baby also hiccup even while I was in labor, till now sef! My sis, nothing do u! Baby will come any time soon and ur swollen legs will return to normal.................congrats to all new mamas

My baby hiccups a lot despite the fact that I drink loads of water and my legs are so swollen. Is there any need to panic?
I'm 38weeks already, please let me know what you think mamas.

Daddy overjoyed, was even jumping up

Sleeplessness night, serious pelvic bone ache when I want to turn on the bed or even get up after sitting down,swollen feet, my mother asking me how I'm feeling anytime I make a tiny sound, the whole neighborhood asking me plenty questions, myself and DH over anxious to meet our LO, vaginal pain. These are the few points I have. Is it enough to ask for induction?

Why do you want to be induced? It's not as if baby is overterm na, shuu! You just can't wait to meet baby ni, sorry ehn? E remain small, the last days seem the longest...besides you've seen small mucus, who knows whether baby will show b4 next week? Chillax and sip cold Milo

Good evening mamas please I'm a FTM and I'm 38weeks gone. In all honesty, I'm really tired, I can't wait to see my baby, feet swollen, fat face, very ugly and I can't walk properly again. I'm thinking of going for induction or membrane sweep. What do you mamas suggest, please I need advice sharp sharp.


P. S I saw small mucus today but no blood .

I was still asking you questions when you have already welcomed your prince. May God continue to guide and protect you and the baby. God, as you've remembered this mamas in delivering their LOs please remember we the rest too. There shall be no loss of mother or baby or even daddy. Help us oh lord and give us a supernatural and sharp sharp delivery. Amen.

There's no cause for alarm, first time moms don't feel kicks on time. So long as the doctor and scan said the baby is fine, put your mind to rest. I wish you a safe and wonderful journey.

Sabi mamas in the house abeg I need some clarifications. I am a Ftm I am 19weeks and 4 days gone but i cant feel any movement yet. It seems I’m the only one that has gone this far without feeling any kicks. My doctor always says everything is fine but i am getting worried. EDD Nov 4.
