We removed all the pop from our house and replaced them with the ceilings used in banks. It started from my dad's room, he was so lucky. We thought that was a fluke, next was my room, I wasn't home as well. Then the palour upstairs. That stuff is thick and heavy like concrete, it must not fall on a person.
For the guy below talking about chandelier and heavy stuff. Most of the rooms in the house has only ceiling lights, no one plays heavy music in our home if any music at all. We noticed the binding wires that was used to hold them were all rusted, most probably due to the salty wind from the ocean. The installers need to do better, understand the area they are installing in and use reliable materials.
I'd never advise anyone on the island to use POP
Lorechino: Since this year alone ,I can vividly count how many celebrities that have had such horrible experience, reason is not that this Pop's are not strong, but after buying or renting the house many of them goes to add more decorations to it (modifying the existing POP, ADDING HEAVY LIGHTS , Changelings abi wetin , etc. Cos I have seen many people around me with this POP in their personal houses without issue for decades. (If u wan buy house go for structure test)
My little experience in tech space has made me realise it's the big deal.
So I went out to learn Data Analysis to up my skills, I am now good in excel and Power BI. I haven't made any money from Data Analysis yet but I'm still working on getting there.
What I need now is a mentor in the field who can show me the way. In case there's anyone willing to help, I'm a fast learner and you won't regret having me.
Meanwhile, the money my classmates have made from 3D animation, I don't think I have seen any government worker earning like that. Just his PC costs him almost 2 million. He owns 2 luxury cars with his own duplex. And a young guy of 25yrs at most.... Modified: Any tech guy that works for Nigerian firm is either ignorant or plain stupid. So the issue of underpayment is out of it.
Yep! I got my remote job from Angel.co Pays £2,500 per month I should have started from learning SQL, Excel Power BI, instead of trying to build dashboards Using python-django. I saw some guy comment about the opportunities in Google stack, but in the UK where I target, there are more opportunities with Microsoft stack.
Nigeria is the No 1 poverty capital of the world, it's not hard to predict people are desperate to get out of poverty... Fix the economy and see the frequency of news like this die a natural death
Hybrid600: What does it take to become an analyst especially in the data analyst field or data science? What app or IT environment does one need to develop this skill from scratch?
Firstly data analytics is different from data science. That being said, as a practicing data analyst I will say being a data anyst is the easier option, as it requires less coding. Someone has posted a thread which should be helpful. However, I will still summarise the key resources I used to become a data analyst here.
Coding skills needed: 1. SQL 2. Data Analytics Python (Added advantage) please don't learn python that is not related to data analytics o
Soft skills needed: Communication and presentation
Visualization tools needed: Be proficient in one of the following. 1. Power BI 2. Tableau 3. SSMS 4. SSRS 5. QIIK
