Nollywood actor, Ibrahim Suleiman has given the reason he cohabited with his wife, Linda Ejiofor, as a Christian before marriage.

A user on Twitter @Ebelechukwu on Thursday took to the microblogging app stating that Christians are not supposed to cohabit as partners before marriage.

She wrote: “A subtle reminder that as a Christian, cohabiting with your partner before marriage is wrong.”

Suleiman, agreeing with the user, said although cohabiting as a Christian is wrong, staying with his wife before marriage is one wrong thing he’s glad they did. Prayers For Thanksgiving

Giving reason, the actor said he and his wife are ambiverts and it was important for them to cohabit for weeks and spend time learning each other’s cues.

He, however, corrected those who are of the opinion that cohabiting just involves making love to each other.

His tweet read, “This is true but it is one of the wrong things I’m glad I did even if it was just for a few weeks.

“If you see “cohabiting” and your mind interprets it as “fornicating”, your lack of self control is smelling and I almost feel bad for you.

“But I won’t, because you are an adult and that’s your struggle. Look, I’ve never been one to give a false impression of piety. I strive daily to be better.

“But once in a while own your transgressions with your chest it just felt like the natural/wise thing to do. Get to spend time in each other’s faces, day in, day out.

The Nigeria Police Force has said there is nothing like money ritual, warning Nigerians to stop killing fellow human beings.

Lately, the killing of humans for purported money rituals have become a trend among young Nigerians who are in a hurry to get rich.

Aside from those who were caught in the act of killing or those seen with body parts, DAILY POST gathered that mutilated human bodies have been found in different locations across Nigeria with killers such persons unknown.

In Ogun State, no fewer than three cases of ritual killing were reported in the past two weeks.

Nigerians were taken aback when 18-year-old Soliudeen Majekodunmi recounted how he, alongside his three friends, beheaded his girlfriend, Sofiat Okeowo and burnt her head in a local pot for money ritual.

On Saturday, a couple, 43-year-old Kehinde Oladimeji and his wife, Adejumoke Raji, were arrested by the police for killing a girl, who was a friend to the wife at Leme area of Abeokuta.

The head of the victim, they confessed, was sold at the rate of N70,000.

Likewise, DAILY POST correspondent reported earlier that some two men in Oja Odan area of Ogun were lynched and burnt to ashes by a mob when they were caught with a fresh human head.

It was gathered that people who engage in this act believe the body parts could be used for rituals that would propel them into sudden wealth and riches.

But, the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said no money could come through the killing of fellow human beings.

Oyeyemi, who described as worrisome, the increasing rate of ritual killing in Ogun and Nigeria, called on well-meaning individuals to join hands in putting an end to the menace.

While speaking in an interview with newsmen at the Ogun State police headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, the cop said the act is man’s inhumanity to man, adding that it is the superlative degree of animalistic behaviour.

He condemned the act in its entirety, saying it is barbaric, despicable and unacceptable.

“It is becoming worrisome, the rate at which some disgruntled elements are killing their fellow human beings for money-making rituals. It is something that all well-meaning Nigerians should have to put all hands on deck to checkmate.

“This is the height of man’s inhumanity to man. It is the superlative degree of animalistic behaviour. There is nothing like money-making ritual. It is barbaric, it is despicable and it is not acceptable.”

The Ogun police spokesman charged parents to warn their children, urging adults and anyone aiding and abetting the crime to stop henceforth.

He stressed that the hand of the law will catch up with those perpetrating the evil, no matter where they hide.

Paul Scholes, a Manchester United star, has backed Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl to be the club's next manager.

Scholes, who wants Hasenhuttl to join Manchester United, believes the 54-year-old Austrian would be a "wonderful fit" at Old Trafford.

MY 2021 CHRISTMAS MESSAGE

I rejoice with Christians in Nigeria as they join fellow believers all over the world to celebrate this season.

It is a special period that brings peoples of the world together with one purpose; to celebrate togetherness, joy, peace, and above all, to share love with one another through exchange of goodwill and gifts.

For the second Christmas running, the world will not be able to celebrate as we used to in years past.

The COVID-19 pandemic, with its attendant debilitating impact, has remained with mankind, mutating and leaving in its wake devastating consequences on the economy, social interaction, and curtailing certain freedoms.

The silver lining, however, is that humanity has been able to rise up with one voice and purpose, to confront the foisted conditions.

I want to use this opportunity to appeal to our dear citizens to embrace vaccination, which is the best scientifically known bulwark against the pandemic.

Recent events have shown that vaccination greatly reduces the effects of the virus on the human body.

I will also urge those that have taken the two doses to go ahead and take the booster as advised by the Presidential Steering Committee (PSC).

I commend the efforts of members of the PSC under the headship of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation as they continue to chart a roadmap out of the pandemic and associated issues.

On security, despite the remarkable successes generally recorded, we still have some challenges.

Our courageous security forces, bolstered by the necessary support from this administration, daily confront the wicked ones amongst us, who continue to threaten the peace of the land.

Recently, during the meeting with fellow Heads of State of the ECOWAS, I discussed the need to intensify efforts to jointly confront this menace causing instability in our sub-region.

I am confident that with the renewed commitment and empowerment of our committed security personnel, all these issues which inflict pain and trauma on us will soon be history.

Let us utilize the opportunity that this festive period brings to encourage ourselves so that the machinations of the wicked ones in our midst will find no place to thrive.

Christmas is a season when hope is rekindled. Hope, Peace, Joy, Love are the recurring themes of this time.

It is in the midst of hardship that the true test of a nation emerges.

I urge Nigerians to invoke the indomitable spirit in us and see the present order of things as a phase that will also pass, just like other unsavory situations in the nation’s history.

A cleric in Adamawa State has been jailed for 10 years for swindling 40 people of a total sum of N5.9 million.

The Christian cleric, Rev Ajiboye Kadmiel, 61, was found guilty by an Adamawa State Chief Magistrate Court I of collecting money from the 40 people with a promise to get them school admission.

Reverend Ajiboye, who hails from Imbru ward in Numan Local Government Area, was thus sentenced to 10 years imprisonment by Chief Magistrate Abdullahi Mohammed Digil.

The prosecutor, Inspector Zakka Musa, had earlier told the court that Ajiboye collected the money from the complainants under the pretence of registering them into Passion College of Health and Remedial Science, Numan, but converted same for his personal use.

The prosecutor said Ajiboye collected money ranging from N150,000 to N200,000 in 2017 and 2018 from his victims with the assurance of registering them but to no avail.

The affected intending students are said to be mostly indigenes of Adamawa State while others are from neighbouring Taraba.

When he was arraigned in court, Ajiboye pleaded guilty to the alleged offence, a plea that was corroborated by three witnesses.

After the testimonies of the witnesses, counsel to the defendant, Danbaba Rigange, pleaded with the court to give his client another time to raise money, but the court replied that he was given enough time but he failed to utilise it and the court was left with no option than to conclude the case.

Delivering his judgment, Chief Magistrate Digil sentenced Ajiboye to 10 years in prison with an option of N200,000 fine and payment of N5.947 million to the complainants as compensation.

Barcelona have turned down an offer to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund if it means they have to bring in Manchester United’s Paul Pogba, according to SPORT.

Both players are represented by agent Mino Raiola.

It is believed Raiola has suggested to Barca, that they must sign Pogba to have a chance at landing Haaland.

Arsenal striker, Eddie Nketiah has told the club’s manager, Mikel Arteta, to let him leave the club immediately, Daily Mail report.

This is after the player has failed to agree a new contract at the Emirates.

When I inquired further about this audio, I was meant to know that it was released in 2013 election when Soludo was up against Willie Obiano who was Peter Obi's candidate. That actually means that Fr. Mbaka's prophecy came true in that particular election.
But in this year's election, Fr. Mbaka never chose any particular candidate to win.

A little boy of 5yrs can ask God for a power bike because he has seen and loved it. But God cannot answer such a prayer not because the little boy was joking when he prayed, No but because if he was granted that wish the little boy might attract Armed Robbers or be involved in an accident.
Ndị Eluigwe will say No to that boy at that time and may later provide his wish when he is old and responsible enough.

God can reject you and your prayers now because He knows it is NOT YET your time to take it up.
When it is your time, Ndị Eluigwe will smile at you.
