This is not intended to judge or condemn you, but to tell you the truth so the truth would make you free.

Being a former pastor, you should already know that the thief never comes to a man except to steal, kill and destroy him.

You already know what happened to mankind in the beginning when they chose to believe the lies of the devil instead of the Truth of God. It was the worst single decision mankind ever made, as humanity is yet grappling with the damning repercussions of such actions up til this very day.

I don't have any qualms with you resigning from your position in Winners' Chapel over poor treatment from your superiors there. You're not the first to do so, as many Winner's Chapel pastors have also complained about similar issues, including some pastors who were sacked not too long ago, to show it's indeed an area of concern the leaders of the church need to look into.

But turning from a pastor to a babalawo because some voices you knew very well were of the devil, were speaking to you and telling you that you're a babalawo by design? Haba!

You ought to know better than that!

You aren't the first person the devil would tell such lies to and you wouldn't be the last.

A neighbor of mine had suffered much more than you in the hands of the devil. She almost died herself on several occasions because of demonic attacks. They also tried to kill her newborn son.

She was told severally, that she was supposed to take the place of her late dad who was an occultist even though he repented before his death.

Once, on her way back from market last year, inside a commercial bus, they appeared and started talking to her from behind that she'd be fine and promised her many things, if she accepts to become one of them, but she still rejected their offer and told them, "NO"!

She knew that even though she was yet suffering, that it would be like moving from frying pan to fire considering what happened to her dad at the end, so she held firm.

Today, she's already reaping the rewards of her decision to reject Satan, as God healed and delivered her, and has begun to use her to serve the real purpose of her life, after she's started taking her spiritual life more seriously, which is to draw men to Himself.

It's not been easy and straightforward because the devil would always try to frustrate and discourage anyone who decides to serve God's purpose for her life, but God has proven Himself faithful and strong to her that she's grateful to Him and also encouraging others to do same.

So gentleman, you made a big mistake to fall for the lies of the devil about you.

You're not a Babalawo by design. It's a lie from the pit of hell, because you're meant to serve God with your life not the devil.

Do not be deceived by how things might seem presently because, trust me, you're surely going to regret this your decision at some point. I hope it's not too late for you to correct it by then though.

Come back to God while you still can because God still loves you.

Nedum Onuoha has admitted he snubbed the chance to play for Nigeria because he was afraid of losing his Manchester City place.

According to him, he was approached twice by the three-time African champions, but he turned it down.

Onuoha was born in Warri, Delta State , but his family emigrated to the UK when he was young.

He received his British citizenship at seven and became eligible to feature for England.

After his breakthrough at City, Onuoha became a regular for the England U20s and 21s, representing them 21 times in four years.

The Osun State Police Command has arrested three suspected ritualists with a human heart in Osogbo/OAU Ife Campus Road, Osun State.

The suspects, Olayade Kehinde, 25, Olufemi Oriyomi, 21 and Raimi Sheriff, 21 were arrested last Thursday, April 7 by police detectives on ‘stop and search’ duty.

The Command’s spokesperson, SP Yemisi Opalola, in a statement on Friday, said the trio on a motorcycle, were flagged down by Police on ‘Stop and Search’, “but rather than stop, sped off, and were pursued.” Daily Prayers

The trio, according to the statement, were arrested in Safejo area of Ile-Ife.

The human heart, which they claimed was one of their friends, and various criminal charms, were found on them, Opalola stated.

Opalola further stated that one of the suspects, Oriyomi fell sick and was taken to hospital for treatment, but unfortunately, died while on admission.

His corpse, according to her, has been deposited at the State hospital for autopsy.

“The remaining two suspects will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigation,” she said.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Olawale Olokode, however, advised parents to monitor their children, and warn them against bad company they might be moving with.

He also admonished the youths “to always engage in lawful business, and shun anything that will jeopardize their brighter future, which includes all forms of ‘get rich quick’ syndrome.”

A 17-year-old worker, Chukwuebuka Nwode, has been arrested by the Edo State Police Command for allegedly killing his employer, Peter Onoberhie.

The suspect was arrested with two accomplices while trying to sell his boss’ car at Uwelu spare part market.

Nwode was working at a sachet water factory owned by the deceased when he carried out the act.

The state police spokesperson, Kontongs Bello, said the teenager allegedly killed his victim and conspired with two other persons to steal his car.

The suspect told City Round that he used a kitchen knife to kill his boss while he was watching television in his sitting room at midnight.

“I didn’t just know what came over me to kill him. I have been living with my mother in Ondo State for the past 16 years. So, when I turned 17, I decided to leave for Benin City. When I got to Benin City, I first started a job in a bakery. After I got the bakery job, I travelled to my village but when I returned from the village, my boss said my services were no longer needed.

“After I was laid off from my bakery job, I got this job (at the water factory). After working for some time, I decided to kill and steal his car. I went to meet him while watching television in his room at night and stabbed him with a kitchen knife. Daily Prayers


“In the morning, I went to Ring Road to look for a driver because I don’t know how to drive. I met someone who could drive and took him to the house and drove the car to Uwelu spare parts market to sell it. But we were apprehended by the vigilance group who later handed us to the police.”

Meanwhile, the state police command said it arrested 11 suspects for alleged murder, robbery, and banditry.

The News Agency of Nigeria reported on Friday that Bello said three suspects were arrested for alleged robbery, three for alleged murder; two for alleged banditry, and three others for conspiracy, robbery and murder.

He added that exhibits recovered within the period included three cut-to-size guns, one vehicle, one expended cartridge, and one unused cartridge.

Others included one AK-49, four empty magazines, assorted charms, three AK-49 expended cartridges, and one red beret.

“We also recovered three mobile phones, bank ATM card, vehicle number plate, three passports, as well as a Lexus Jeep,” Bello said.

The PPRO said the police command, under the leadership of the Commissioner of Police, Abutu Yaro, was committed to the fight against all forms of crimes in the state.

A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Ahmed Lawan, has slammed the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.)’s over his request for an additional N3.557 trillion for fuel subsidy.

Lawan, who lost the contest of the APC party’s National Organising Secretary during the last convention, argued that the current N250 pump price of Premium Motor Spirit renders the presidential request ridiculously unacceptable.

His condemnation came ahead of senate approval of additional N3.557 trillion fuel subsidy money as requested by Buhari. Daily Prayers

“Federal Government should take over power stations from the private sector to give us light because we are paying bills every month without commensurate value.

“Giving electricity to the public is like automatically creating job opportunities for our youths in Nigeria. More so that the youths are now manufacturing electric cars and other devices in Nigeria,” Lawan said.

The debate of who Nigerians will choose as the next President in 2023 has emerged online as Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo joins the race.

Under the All Progressives Congress, APC, Yemi Osinbajo, Rotimi Amaechi, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Yahaya Bello, Dave Umahi and Rochas Okorocha have declared to run for the presidency.

While under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Bukola Saraki, Nyesom Wike, Pius Anyim, Aminu Tambuwal, Dele Momodu have all declared intention to succeed Buhari in 2023.

One of these men will likely be the next President.

While the PDP struggles to decide where to zone the presidential ticket to, some Nigerians have opined that Peter Obi is the best candidate to go against Yemi Osinbajo if APC decides to give him the ticket.

Fire razed a 12-room residential storey-building in Ilorin, Kwara State capital, on Wednesday, destroying valuables worth millions of naira.

The fire disaster occurred at about 16:46hrs (04:46 P.M.) as a result of electric power surge, DAILY POST reports.

Spokesman of the State Fire Service, Hassan Hakeem Adekunle, disclosed that the incident occurred at Akintunde compound, Agbarigidoma, opposite Airforce Junction, Oloje area of Ilorin metropolis.

Six rooms were affected.

Other rooms in the building, including many tangible properties were saved from the inferno.

The Director of Kwara State Fire Service, Prince Falade John Olumuyiwa, urged the citizens to always cultivate the habit of switching off their electrical appliances before bedtime.

Turkish billionaire, Muhsin Bayrak, claims Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has told him he is “90% close” to buying the Premier League side.

North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg on Friday said there is evidence that Russia is using cluster bombs in its invasion of Ukraine.

I read everything and they are all wonderful provisions.

First, I support stifling of political parties registration process please. Just like I support the deregistration of a thousand of churches especially those started by disgruntled pastors from bigger churches.

A situation where one idiot goes to rent a container in Abuja as party office and asks INEC to register his party relying on whatever stupid Supreme Court judgment is stupid. RCCG Night Prayers

They end up wasting everybody’s time at the elections with stupid presidential candidates whose village people don’t even know. If you must contest for the presidency, go and win House of Rep, Senate or even governorship seat first. Show what you can at the regional level and let that be your pedigree giving the presidency a shot.

It is the reason people like Tinubu, Fashola, Peter Obi, Umahi, Umaru Zulum, etc, will always have edge over any other candidates in any presidential contest because we have seen them deliver at regional levels.

Again, Independent candidacy is another masterstroke. Political parties would learn not to toil with popular and capable candidates anymore while going for a buffoon because they think he will play ball.

Allowing states to decide on airports and railways, is another great provision. So that states will stop going to Abuja to beg for approval to build airports like Obiano and Umahi did just to build airport.

Mayoralty status for FCT is wonderful except that they still left the qualification at SSCE when we are clamoring for graduate certificate to be the minimum qualification for political office.

Another thing not so good is Labour going to concurrent list. We have seen how wicked some governors can be. But I trust Labour to make a lot of noise until Labour is removed from concurrent list.

When all is said and done, we will now go to God in prayers that Buhari will assent to it when finally legislated and passed by both National and state legislators.
