Please Canadian Post should call off their strike na!
My transcript was sent via EMS speedpost despite my pleas to my uni contact person to use DHL.
After speedpost's annoying delay, I finally tracked it to Canada, only for them to say that the strike action will cause delays
I have been checking for close to 2 weeks now.
I mailed ICES and they said my transcript hasnt arrived.
If only ABU agreed to send this transript via email...
God pass all of them.

I shall announce my PPR in this Part 6 by the Grace of God.
I shall succeed in my 'real country'.

At first, that page 1 looks like something written in Chinese.
But as time goes by, its starts to sink in.
Months back, I read through the first 10 inital pages and told hubby that the process seemed too long and cumbersome.
Recently, I came back, garnered strength to scan through again and viola! I am waiting to receive my ECA report from ICES.

Please house I want some clarification on these, before now I had applied for my transcript and it happens that I have a copy of it from my school that is not stated boldly on it as student copy. Can I upload it along side other documents not minding that it's not a student copy? Secondly do ICES have list of schools they evaluate in Nigeria?

And their courier may take for ever. I had to pay my contact person to take it to the courier office himself.

As a fellow professional colleague , let me chip in. I think you should tell us your full profile so you can be better advised. i.e. your ages and years of work experience. But if both of you are below 30 and have over 3years work experience then anybody can be the PA depending on IELTS result and ease of gathering documents (reference letters).

I have applied for ICES and have uploaded required documents but called my school, IMSU for official transcripts yesterday only to be told NASU has been on strike for the 4th week now. However I am yet to pay for ICES. Problem now is should I make payment and wait for the strike to be over so I send transcripts or should I just wait for the strike to be called off before making payment?
Meanwhile I've registered for ielts and preparing already...

I need answers too. Should I pay while awaiting the transcript?

With you as PA, LRWS;8777 and your spouse 7777 and both Masters degrees accessed; you have 450 CRS points.

With your spouse as PA and applying the same parameters, you guys are at 435. Adding TEF will definitely boost this but why waste that money?

I think what to do now is for both of you to write IELTS, whoever has the better score should be PA. If he has the better score, he can be PA.

Another advantage of him being PA is that you guys can try out the Quebec EE. Their POF requirement is less than half of what Federal is demanding

Please for my NOC, I find that I can apply as an Architectural manager (NOC-0) or as an Architect (NOC- A), as I am currently a supervisor.
I have reviewed both job duties as stipulated and I qualify.
Is there any 'perks' of choosing NOC- 0 instead of A.

I am 33, Hubby is 36. Work experience is over 7years. He plans to write IELTS and TES for French language evaluation if he is the P. A.
.But I find that if I am the P. A, he will only need to write IELTS.
So giving these variables, what do you advise?
Also, I am considering ICES instead of WES and IQAS?

Please what is this suppershuttle stand?

Its an airport shuttle company. They have a stand close to the exit.

So I am reporting live from Houston! I posted my B2 Visa interview back in February.
I arrived IAH last Friday at 35 weeks via British Airways. Don't know why people keep scaring others from coming through Houston. I heard I could still get turned back even with a B2 visa. Thank God I didnt changed my POE last minute.

I left Abuja 8:05am on Thursday. I had a fit to fly which wasnt requested for. I kept wondering who I was supposed to show the letter.
The flight was very ok and comfy. I deliberately planned to break the trip and rest in London for a day. We arrived Heathrow 2:05 pm and I went straight to Immigration. It was very busy and I spent over an hour. Finally got to my turn and the officer asks why I am there. Told him I was traveling the next day to give birth in US. He asked to see my Fit to Fly and asked several questions. He even turned to his colleague to ask what documents were needed. That one told him I only needed fit to fly and a Visa. So he stamped me and I left to my hotel.
The next day, I continued to Houston. The flight was okay as well and my compression socks worked well. I saw 2 other pregnant ladies in the flight and one was a nairalander who dragged me to the front that we weren't supposed to queue even though the airport wasn't busy.

Officer: Good afternoon. What brings you here
Me: Good afternoon. To have my baby.
Officer: Is this your first child
Me: Yes
Officer: How long are you staying?
Me: 2 months.
Officer: Are you alone on this trip
Me: Yes, But my mom will be here in three weeks time
Officer: How much cash do you have for this purpose
Me: S10,000 and another $6000 in my card.
Officer: Dont bring it out, just tell me. Where are you staying
Me: Intown suites. I hand him my reservation.
Officer: This shows for just one week (its actually 1 month, he didnt study it well)
Me: Yes, I was only allowed to make reservation for a certain amount of time until I show up.
Officer: Okay, Make sure you keep all your receipts. He then stamps me in for 6 months

As I make to leave, he gently explains that he would give me an escort to take me to count my money. he was really polite.
The escort suggested I first went to baggage claim.
I Picked up my bags and was given a form to fill in the cash. But it wasnt eventually counted.
The officer just asked to see the cash . He asked random questions about my occupation and asked to see my doctor's letter. (Guess he was just been over zealous).

Then, I went straight to the Supershuttle stand and got a shared ride to my accommodation. It was cheaper than uber.

1. Apply for a B1/B2.
2. You can use same visa for both trips. No need mentioning you want to combine anything at the interview.
3. You cant go with them. They will be fine without you.

Sorry about that. You have to call the manager for the monthly rate that was what I was told when I called their reception. I tried calling but was wasnt successful. Also the guy at the reception said it had a condition of you paying fully before arrival.

I've filed the info with the hospital but they said it would take 2-3 weeks. i have just a month till we leave. Also which Pediatrician did you see for your follow up appointment?
