Cee-C and Tobi’s relationship in the Big Brother house has been anything but rosy, the duo have been having one fight or the other and are constantly at loggerheads with each other.

Drama ensued after the party last night with Cee-C claiming that Tobi was acting strangely. She also claimed that if they were actually dating in the real world, she would have dealt with Tobi. She said that she wouldn’t let him sleep and would have beaten him.

She was caught on camera fuming and saying that Tobi had been calling her names and insulting her for no reason at all.

Cee-C’s rant had come after a particularly heated argument with Tobi which almost came to blows, the housemates had to get them to calm down for peace to reign.

Cee-C had said on dealing with Tobi; “Had this happened outside the show, Tobi wouldn’t have slept this night.”

“I’m not joking. I don’t know what to do again. This is a kind of situation you involve your father to help you talk to your boyfriend even though both of you are not married.

Special Adviser to the Nigerian president on National Social Investment Programme (NSIP), Mrs Maryam Uwais, has revealed that over 80 million out of estimated Nigerian population of over 150 million are poor.

However, only about 455,857 of the number of poor people have been captured in the National Social Register (NSP) being used by the Federal Government for its National Cash Transfer Program.

Even then, the monthly stipends of N5000.00 is being paid to only 297,973 out of 455,857 identified poor and vulnerable households captured in NSP.

No fewer than 22 persons were killed and 28 others injured in a multiple suicide bomb attack at a market in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno.



The incident occurred on Friday at about 9:00 PM, when three suicide bombers detonated explosives at the “Kasuwar Kifi” in the outskirts of Konduga town.

Two females Towabola Adebayo, 32, and Oderah, 34, evacuated from Libya, have died.

According to reports, Adebayo gave up the ghost on Wednesday, after spending two days at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH), while Oderah died on Tuesday at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH).

Adebayo, who arrived sick was immediately driven in a NEMA Ambulance to University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, where she was admitted. Doctors treated her for vomiting, general weakness of the body, abdominal pains, and associated illness.

Oderah died after being treated for an undisclosed ailment.

Nigeria's Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh has been named amongst nine prominent Nigerians that won the 2017 Zik Prize Award in Public Service.



Chief Audu Ogbeh who emerged the Zik Prize Winner in Public Service, was recognised for his success in the last two years as he championed the return to Agriculture as a means of diversifying the Nigerian economy.



Announcing the winners in Lagos, Member, Advisory Board, Public Policy Research and Analysis Centre, (PPRAC), Prof. Pat Utomi, said the Zik Prize Leadership Award was instituted 24 years ago in honour of the first President of Nigeria, Late Dr. Nnamdi Azikwe, primarily to encourage and nurture leadership on the African Continent and in the Diaspora.



“The year 2017 Zik Prize Award is set to follow this noble tradition of recognizing service excellence,” adding that an exhaustive appraisal of nominees in various award categories have been done before these official announcement of their names.”



Utomi added: “Today, Nigeria is now the largest rice producer in West Africa and agriculture is the largest employer of labour, providing up to 70 per cent of the nation's employment.”



Other prominent Nigerians recognised include: the Former Deputy Governor of Oyo State and former Governor Osun state/First Interim National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Chief Bisi Akande; the governor of Katsina State, Rt. A 24-year-old lady has just been arrested and charged to court for allegedly stealing and selling male friend’s generator. The generator was valued at N70,000.

Lady who was identified as Bimpe Adeite was on Friday, February 9, brought before a magistrate court in Badagry, Lagos. She was charged for stealing. It was also disclosed that the young lady may be at risk of facing three years imprisonment charges for this act.


According to the police prosecutor, Akpan Uko, he disclosed that the accused committed the offence on Friday, January 26, at No, 13 Adamu street, Itoga in Badagry. He added that the generator belonged to the friend of the accused Daniel Akanbi. Uko said: “The accused went to spend time with the complainant, so when he was not around on this particular day, she decided to steal the generator and sell it. She spent the money on her hair and body cream products.”
