DrBESTJC: English.
Choose the option nearest in meaning to the capitalised phrase.
His success may be described as a PYRRHIC VICTORY. A: costly B: a deserving victory C: an easy victory D: indecisive
This question is ambiguous. According to google. Phyrrhic victory is a victory in which the victor's losses are as equal as those of the defeated. It is also called cadmean victory. So from this definition, it won't be wrong to say thet his success is costly. |

ubongokon: foolish talk
Think well It is not a foolish talk as you have claimed. Jamb should really be scrapped. We all know that most of SSCE results are not reliable because of all this and that miracle centres. So what is the way out? Each institutions should be allowed to conduct their own exams to be able to admit candidates. But one thing I know is that it is almost impossible to scrap jamb cos it is an avenue for government to embezzle money. |

maryjames9: Isn't that religion better than one that is now synonymous to money and material wealth? Any religion that is more after the money of his followers more than their welfare cannot attract a sane mind. And who made you a jury over her to condemn her?
I have said it and will keep saying it, any nation that take Religion above critical thinking, reasoning is doomed to fail. I wanted to comment and reply a guy but was given a list of Islamic believes. I cannot accept that. I am a Christian but I have learnt to practice my Religion devoid of hatred for other Religion. Every Religion has a bad side. Quote me anywhere. I love Muslims cos besides my Parents and family, God has always used Muslims to help me even when Pastors and so called Christians would not. For the guy saying I am encouraging suicide bombing, my reply is this, does it mean that all Nigerians including you are fraudulent cos that is the general belief of people in many other nations. Your reply as I thought is No. I guess that answer your questions.
Finally, for sake of equity, I seriously advice the mod to put the same guidelines for people who want to comment on Christian, Atheist, Buddhist, Free Thinkers and Traditionalist thread as they have done on Muslim threads. This will go a long way to alleviate the impression that the mods are in anyway insensitive, inconsiderate and partial. I'm a muslim buh seriously I must say I LOVE THIS PIECE |

Pes13: That should only help your personal studies in preparation for putme generally.
Oau putme questions is generally more tasking than UI's
My advice- Use OAU putme past questions for personal study(To cage your strength) but get UI putme past questions.
UI will not set questions from oau past questions.
It is better to study smart than study hard. OK thanks. But I thought UI don't release their post utme questions |

Pes13: .Jamb might not recommend Explicit Biology, but its a very wonderful textbook. It is so simple and interesting to read like essential biology, with comprehensive explanations and jamb past questions, and it covers a large ground exactly like modern.
But explicit biology is difficult to get, I couldn't get it then also. But if you could, pls get it, I promise you won't regret it. Please is it goodto use OAU post utme past questions to study for that of UI? |

Bro fynestboi come here please
I'm currently doing OAU pre degree programme. This year they used 50% for jamb 40% for pre degree marks and 10% for O level result as their admission criteria. As you can see that one must score very high in jamb (and you know all this jamb ish you canvt be certain of your score until the result comes out) in order to gain admission, I'm thinking of applying to UI. I have this belief that having gone through OAU pd programme UI post utme should be a walk over for me or what do you think sir?
PS: I'm aspiring for medicine and surgery |
