Hi,

I know of people who trail Mbbs cutoff mark like yours from last 2 years and even last year, and were still admitted into Mbbs.

All you need to do is to set your prayer altar on fire, call on your God.

All the best!
Good morning bro.

Please I am looking for a way to get my previous putme results on ui website. Do you know how I can do that?. I have tried to login with the registration no for those years but it isn't working.

Here's the cut off

I felicitate with everyone who beat the cut off, accept my sincere congratulations.
To those who didn't but scored above 50, you still have hope.
And those who scored below 50, it's not the end. Most UI students wrote the postume twice or more. One of my friend who scored 91 this year (the second highest score) wrote with us even in 2017. It's not the end, it's just another opportunity for you to come back stronger
Thank you

Nltaliban:
To start with, the cut off mark they acclaimed is leaked bis false. College of medicine decides their cut off today. I know vet and pharmacy did theirs yesterday and it is 57 and 72 respectively.

To your questions.
1. The number of people to be considered depends on the left and that determines the mark. Not really that those 1 mark below

2. They do when the quote is yet to be filled. For example, in 2025, MBBS admitted all 13 students or there about with 73 score despite the cut off being 74 just to fill quota. I think same for law

3. Changing course is the best idea. If your most preferred course (MBBS in this case) considers you for admission, you name would not be part of those that would be sent to other departments as COC candidates. Even if it is, your admission in MBBS remains the authentic ones. Not doing change of course means you're not interested in any other course at all, chances of being considered for any course is almost zero

Please, I do understand that a lot of rumours will be flying around now, stay away from news that would increase the chance of turbulent flow in your vessels ( you'll know the meaning when you finally gain admission to MBBS grin grin grin grin grin ).

Enjoy smiley . I greet everyone here, please be calm, I'll do well to keep you updated with any cut off I hear of today
I later got information about the cut off marks being false. Thank you!! angry

EducationRe: University of Ibadan 2019/2020 Admission Thread by Hardebaryor(m):
Good evening people.

I wan to ask the following questions;

1. If one does not meet the proposed merit cut off mark for one's applied course (mine is MBBS in particular), is it only those who are maximum of 1 point short of the cut off mark that may later considered?

2. This act of consideration of some candidates who are very close to the cut off mark is it every year they do it?

3. In case of doubt, one may want to change to another course to be on a safer side, willthis act of changing one's course hinder one from being considered for the original course he applied for? I mean if they want to consider a candidate for his original course because he is close to the cut off mark but he has changed his course to another one, will that stop them from giving him his first applied course.

4. In the year 2017, the cut off mark was 71.88, does anybody know of candidates that later got MBBS though they are close to the cut off mark but a little more than a point. As in do you know anybody in MBBS department with a score like 70.5. Likewise 2018, when the cut off mark was 76.5, are there candidates that got in with 75 (ie they are 1.5 marks below the cut off)?

I ask the above questions because I am 1.125 below the leaked cut off mark for MBBS today. I had 77 and the leaked cut off mark is 78.125

Pls help a brother

hey guys I know this might not be the right place or time to post this, but this thing is eating me up and I need help..i have been having problems solving some questions particularly on Equilibrium of forces, normally I know we are to resolve into the vertical and horizontal components using fy= sin@ and fx = cos @ . but i came acroos some questions particularly in the lamlad textbook(page 29 and question 1,2,and3) they resolved the vertical into fy= cos@ and horizontal into fx= sin@ ...i have been truing to understand the reason this was done but i just dont get it... please i need someone to enlighten me with a thorough explanation.
I wish to help you but I'm not good at explanations

Lemme try

If the angle you are given say titre is inclined to the horizontal, then horizontal component is fcos titre and vertical component is fsin titre. But if the angle is inclined with the vertical then it becomes the opposite that is horizontal component is fsin titre and vertical component is fcos titre.

In order not to confuse yourself, when you are given an angle that is inclined to the vertical, subtract it from 90 degrees (let's the answer you got after subtracting is alpha)then you use the horizontal component as fcos alpha and vertical components as sin alpha.

I hope this is clear

Note: there is a better way to solve those questions

Sociology is a nice course to study. Most students who pick the course with the motive of changing to other course mostly end up falling in love with the course.

It is not difficult to excel in it and it will avail you with a good number of opportunities after graduation.

btw: I hope you have done the COC already if you haven't kindly do so asap bcus reg will soon close and you wouldn't want you changed data to get caught in the web.
CoC will no longer be valid after the closure of reg.
Hi bro.

Pls I want to ask if cancelled results among subjects that are not core subjects will deny someone admission during clearance.

For example, I have a friend who is an Arts student. Yoruba and Biology exams were cancelled but he excelled in all the core subjects, will that deny him admission during clearance, if she is admitted?

Keep following me and you'll always be behind me. Are you dumb? I sent you two Bible verses where your three Gods in one ordered men and women to be killed but spared virgins only! can you describe the scene? Jesus already had his fill in the old testament. Let's say he probably repented in the new T.
.
I also asked you if Jesus of the Bible was among the sons of God that came to sleep with daughters of men to bear Giants in Genesis 6:4.
.
Na camel urine you Sabi. Is it your mouth we dey use drink am? Drink your bread and wine in peace na abi we complain?
.
Our God can't become man, He's far above such!
Our God is one! He is above becoming three in one!
Our God can't live in the womb of his creation, then pass through the birth canal of his creation, suckled by his creation, was protected by his creation.
How can a God be killed by death one of his creation just to save man, his creation?
.
You may call it mystery or lack of the holy ghost! we call it extreme stupidity.
.
Alhamdulillah you agreed that Jesus never gave his religion a name in the Bible.
Brother, please save your time and energy. These people aren't worth arguing with. May Allah guide us
