Seniors in the house I have a question I will like an answer too My mom is my sponsor but the account she will be submitting has both me and her as signatory to the account Is that a good thing or a bad thing Because I am not working with the company and am not on the company payroll. Can I also include or use this same account as a self sponsor account or I just state that my mom is the sponsor since she has the CAC of the company as well as the tax return |

This is a mis-information my brother, a case in point I got my admission letter late November last year for September 2019. Admission letter is based on when you applied for the program the earlier you apply the better your chance of getting admitted and also gettimg ur letter . Most September applicant start there application October of the previous years vibrant99: It is rather too early for Canadian Universities to send admission letters to sept 2019 intakes , Maybe he was on a waiting list. Most of them would send notifications by 2nd week of febuary |

It's very easy I already got admission for September 2019 Just follow the procedure on the school website If u have anybody willing to sponsor you such person should pay for your school fees for one year before you apply for visa since he is not family And also write a strong SOP to proof your connection with the person stating that he is serious with his intention of funding your school that's why he has paid for the tuition fee adding his account as well as his tax return to proof his willing to meet the financial capapbilities Judee99: Good morning House. I intend applying for NAIT and I have a Canadian citizen (with no family ties) who is willing to help with the admission process and funding. Do I stand a chance? How easy or difficult is NAIT admission process? Thanks |

The $1000 is a commitment fee that has to be paid to show that you are interested in studying the program after you pay the $1000, then you will be giving an unconditional admission letter that you will use to process you student visa But the $1000 Will be use to fund your tuition fee for example if the tuition fee is $5000 and u have paid $1000 it will remain $4000 And about there admission rate the have a set number for international student But the most important thing is that you apply early There admission is based on first come first serve, so if u have 2.54 and u applied November and someone with 3.52 applied January you will be given admission except you don't meet the admmsion requirement As for me I was offered biological science and I have paid the $1000 for the Fall 2019 session PstTobi: I graduated with 2.54gpa from Dept of applied geophysics, I want to apply for pgd in petroleum engineering technology at nait, please can I be admitted with such GPA and what's their admission rate, is it high. Furthermore I read it on their website that if am admitted i will pay 1000CAD as part of my tuition fee and is not refundable. please I need more light sir/ma. Thanks |

bbclue: Please don't come and scare people here ooo according to Cic all u need is ur living expenses ( CAD10000) for a year Plus your tuition fee for the first year that's all that is needed. If u have more its not bad but consider someone who does not have that much You need 15million naira aleast in your bank or sponsors bank account |

kelpreneur: My sponsor has 7 million in his savings account and 3 million in his fixed deposit account... My tuition fee is 18k CAD is the money enough to Sponsor? First of all convert 7 million naora to Canadian dollars Then check your tuition fees plus 10000 CAD living expenses Sum it together If the figure is still within the range then it okay to proof that As a source of fund for your study But it won't be a bad thing if you can have more than that so that the VO will be totally convinced that you have the capability to finance your study |

Hello family, passport request just dropped! Online application, submitted July 26th, Biometrics done on July 30th, Eligibility review started and medical mail dropped on December 19th, Medicals exam done on December 21st, Medical passed and passport request on December 28th.
Course: BSc. Computer science. University: University of Regina.
My personal docs; 1) Data page of my international passport 2) My birth Certificate 3)Certificate of origin 4)National Identification number slip 5)Affidavit of return 6)Evidence of 500 CAD tuition deposit (required by the school) 7) WAEC Result
Highschool transcripts 9) Skill acquisition program transcript and certificate (Certificate from computer lessons I attended after highschool) 10) TOEFL report (I did this when I was applying to the US. It isn't required, I just added it for show off) 11) The data page of my profile on a Nigerian university's portal, as evidence of admission into the university. 12) A page from Vanguard newspaper, showing that diploma programs were cancelled for universities by the National University Commission in October 2016. 13) My personal bank account statement showing inflow of money for the few months I have worked independently (100k+). 14) A good SOP (very important!)
Financial documents: 1) Letter of sponsorship and declaration of sponsorship, stating the money in one of my dad's account is set apart for the first year of my tuition and living expenses. 2) Data page of my dad's international passport 3) My dad's statement of Account showing he has over 15 million Naira set aside fir tuition and living expenses for the first year. 4) Letter of reference from my dad's employer. This is attached with his salary account’s statement showing the inflow of his salary every month end. 5)My dad's work complementary card 6) Receipt of 500 CAD tuition deposit, required by the university. 7) Declaration of asset, stating some of my dad's assets.
Affidavit of ownership of one of his landed properties 9) Affidavit as to sold land (This is to justify a huge lump in my dad's account statement) 10) My dad's business registration document. 11) Deed of conveyance, agreement papers and receipts of some of my dad's landed properties. 12) Survey plan of one of my dad's landed properties. 13) Government approved building plans of some of my dad's landed properties. 14) Pictures of some of my dad's landed properties.
I was a student of one of the Nigerian universities doing a diploma program. Almost two years into the program, the NUC scrapped diploma programs for universities. I was broken! So I decided to study abroad.
I applied for a visa to study in the US five times within a period of one year! I couldn't get past the interviews cos I couldn't explain myself to the VO (kind of an introvert). So I decided to try Canada once and if I didn't get the visa, I would give up any hope left of studying abroad. Fortunately my first application has just been approved.
I have never crossed Nigerian borders. That is, I have no travel history.
Observation: I'm not a guru, but from my observation spending a lot of time on the US student visa thread and this Canada student visa thread; The VOs know there is a 70% chance of we not returning to Nigeria after graduation, but they can't deny all applications based on this fact. So they want someone who shows potential of adding something positive to Canada, incase the person doesn't return to his/her country. They key is just "self-hype". In my SOP, the way I hyped myself, you'ld think I thought Zuckerberg how to code. (Hype yourself with sense sha)
Note: The above doesn't mean you should neglect saying you will come back to Nigeria. In my SOP, I stated some career opportunities for computer science graduates in Nigeria.
I fasted and prayed too. God did his part and I did mine. Thanks to God.
Special thanks to Frankreubben. This guy went out of his way to teach me things I didn't know about the visa process. I too go ask am question!.. lol.... Thanks a lot brother. Thanks to everyone who shared their profile and contributed in one way or the other to this thread.
To the hopefuls, "It shall end in praise!" |

I will like to convince the visa officer why I intend studying a diploma which is a lesser degree to the bachelor degree I already acquired And also connect the course I did in school which is microbiology and later got a job as an assistant laboratory personnel with the course I intend to study which is biological science penitential: What do you want to explain inside the SOP? Kindly note that the approval of your study permit is not dependent upon the content of your SOP. Applicants have successfully landed their study permits even WITHOUT any SOP |
