That is because your business is a small business.
So it depends on the type of business and the scale of operation. You can hardly go into serious manufacturing for example without loans. Watch "Dragons Den" on BBC and you will see people doing fine on small scale looking for loans to expand. Why? To accelerate growth.
You can produce zobo with little capital, but to bottle it and compete with lacacera you need Millions of Dollars. How many zobo will you have to sell to raise even 50 million naira? So how do you expect such a person to become a manufacturer that would compete with coca cola and co?.
You need money for Brand development.
Money for automated bottling machines that can meet the high demand
You need money for distribution
You need money for adverts (a single advert in the news paper will cost you almost 2million naira) just 30 second advert in prime time will cost almost 1 million naira.

So, if you don't want to be small forever, you need loan.

If you are talking of a small business. Yes. Can any of your land start a automobile manufacturing company? I used facebook as an example earlier. They had to take a loan of about $300million within it's first year. That is why facebook is what it is today.

For the records, Pastor W.F.Kumuyi got born again in 1964 at the Apostolic Faith and was with them and S.U. till the Bible study (circ 1973) started and later sunday services! That claim of him being a JW is in the same pattern as with the JW teachings.

Look at the belief of DL church and that of JWs, you will find out that their (DL) is much like a corrupted version of JWs belief, that is one, when I was in JS1 in Emarid college in PH, there was this DL boy, she he talks about bible there were things that I found very familiar, but many time he says something, then I ask were in the bible did you find this? And they are not proud as you say, they were told never to talk to JWs.

An atheist like me does not believe in god simply because of the defination of god. God could be anything. If you tell me, the origin of time and space is god. I am fine with it. But it becomes a mockery when you say he is human like, it talks, it has a kingdom called heaven etc. God could be energy, god could be dark matter or plasma. I don't really care. So yeah if people worshiped the sun as their god. It's all right. But we now know the sun is not the ultimate source of energy. If we eventually know how life came to be and people choose to start worshiping it, that is their choice. My point is god exists depending on what you call god. But the characteristics we give god is what is unacceptable.

Now because science can't explain what happens before the big bang, doesn't mean an intelligence is behind it when obvious, the universe doesn't show signs of intelligibility. What it means is that science doesn't know and we should strive to know it and not assume before hand the answer, if that's how scientist of the past assumed answers to scientific questions,do you think you would have modern medicine that you depend on, or your mobile phone to communicate, or the internet to get on nairaland. No, the benefits of science is for all of mankind, and so when you try to undermine the scientific method by claiming they dnt know what happened before the big bang is just pure ignorance and it is called the god of the gaps argument.

It is a stalement we cannot tell you exactly how existence started and religion does not have an answer either. It is time to be honest with ourselves no one knows how existence came to be.
If god exists and he had to create everything, then it is enough prove that nothing can be created without a creator. So who created god?

It's not exactly tried, true or satisfactory. I'm a Christian, but even I know that answer is not just conclusive. Everything as it is is preceeded by something. It's how we know we have roots, ancestors, history. Something always comes before. It's all too evident in nature. If we say nobody designed God is a satisfactory enough answer, then it's only logical that an atheist saying the big bang "just happened" should also be satisfactory and conclusive. But we theists don't take it as good enough. So how can we expect an atheist to also take God not having a cause as satisfactory if we cannot accept the big bang not having a cause as satisfactory because they are practically the same explanation for two different phenomena.

Look, this thing happened a long time ago, before even the birth of the deeper life Church, But I know somebody that was there when it happened, he is my best friend's father and the sister of that my friend is the one I am planning to marry, the man was in Lagos in the 70s when Kumuyi a was still JW, and they were in the same congregation, I was preaching with him one day, we were in a group with other JWs as we normarly do, then some brothers went to a particular house, before we knew what was happening the house holder started to shout at the person who went to knock at his door, which drew our attention so we went to calm him down, then we saw a sticker on his door which made us know he was a member of deeper life Church, then after, we all left, it was then I asked why they react soooooo wildly when ever they see JWs, then my best friend's dad whom I was working with by the way told me everything. And mind you that is not the first time a member of DL Church has behaved that way towards even me when I am preaching and happened to meet them.
