MILITARY IS ABOUT DISCIPLINE.
How can a bloody Civilian stop a soldier from using the ATM, armed or not, since he was not planning to enter the Bank directly with his rifle. Moreover sef a military man on duty must not drop his rifle, imagine a soldier droping his gun because a police cammanded him to, walahi they will show the soldier guy sege for barrack....the police man should know all this, why is he creating a scene.... Foreign Affairs › Re: Senegal Gives Jammeh Midnight To Vacate Presidency Seat by Hargbo(m): 11:13pm On Jan 18, 2017
I ve been wondering and thinking a lot, and I ve read a lot of Post concerning President Jammeh.
Before I go on, I dont want us to be so confident on the efficacy of what the media brings to us on this pressing issue. I want my fellow Nairalanders to look at all this my Hypothesis with your wisdom
1. Jammeh has been ruling for over 20 years and none of his Cabinet member or subordinate is crying out for His removal. Am sure he has his people occupying every Government seat down to the Local Government, No wonder the Judiciary, Legislature, Electoral Bodies, even the military are silent over this issue because they are eating in the same bowl
2. Despite the cries and displeasure of Foreign bodies and Government, Jammeh remains resolute and unshakable...What does he believe in and he is so sure of that he is ready to bear the storm coming. You should know he is not even hiding like Gadaffi and co
3. Why is it the Boko haramians strike has gone down for a while at the same time Jammeh refuse to concede defeat. Or is it that the Bokonians are in Gambia right now to support a fellow brother to show the World the will of Allah
4. The Nigerian Government did not attain to quell the Fulani invasion in Southern Kaduna are now eager to show off there bomber and fighter Jet. Are they showing there concern or is there a conspiracy here..
5. If Jammeh cannot have the throne he is ready to destroy the throne.
6. Am also wondering how the new President even though he manage to get the throne will be able to 22years of Jammeh reign
7. The reason why I think Senegal is ready to move in is because Gambi is practically enclose by Senegal except the sea port access that will allow you to enter Gambia without going through Senegal
8. Jammeh should not be taken lightly, he has more backup than we think

Can u just stop this already?. What's the meaning of that?. Is that how to propagate Islam?. What's the rationale behind having millions of adherents who are not contributing anything meaningful to humanity?. The same goes for Christians of today too-everyone is just in a rush to 'win more souls' to their side just to claim they are 'more in number' and are flourishing. This is the root cause of the senseless wars and most violence we now experience in the world today-the two major religions trying to outdo eachother in a senseless competition....little wonder atheism is now graining ground globally.
......and dont think I am saying this because I am not a believer, I AM a Muslim...but I hate that attitude among Muslims and non Muslims....live and let live...
finally someone shows up with a sense of humour..God bless you..

Please stop the whining! Arik is being forced to continue operations in a pathetic economic climate without any support from the clueless ministry of transport and Buhari!

These guys go through hell to maintain their planes and remain in business to ultimately avoid accidents and not 'flight delays' and 'cancellations'

Which do you prefer??!!

If you won't fly commercial because of the disappointments try th alternatives below:

Travel › Help: Arik Is Milking Nigeria Of There Hard Earn Money by Hargbo(op): 1:55pm On Dec 15, 2016
It's very frustrating when your travel plans are disrupted. This is the case with my sister that was suppose to take a flight from Lagos to Warri after vacating for the session. To our disappointment Her flight was rescheduled without consulting us or giving us any reason for resheduling of our flight. They kept on doing this for the next three days till we got frustrated to go by road. But the most annoying part is the refund aspect which we came to found put is almost impossible. Like seriously I feel like dragging that Airline to court. What is our Government doing. Is there no voice that will carry the voice of the voiceless. I later found out also that this act has become there practice and a way of disappointment my fellow Nigeria blood. People have miss business deal because of Arik. Arik is the worst airline in Nigeria...this are some of the reports I found out about this Situation..
My name is Awodiji Funmilayo, I initially booked (ZT6OSC) my flight out of Nigeria for the 11th of March (w3107), and it was cancelled and rescheduled to 14th without contacting me, to check if I would still travel or if the date was convenient for me. In addition to that, we got to the airport and spent close to 15 hours waiting for the flight. Would you do that to a white man? Is it because the airline has not been sued for such actions, that you get away with such services?

I see such actions as fraudulent, because it is obvious that the team cannot maintain these services and they still have it up for people to unknowingly buy the tickets. This is a dubious trend.

You are intentionally putting people under emotional and mental stress for no just reason.

You have messed up all my plans all over again, I have to be in Nigeria in time to see my kids on their visiting for the 21st.

I want to use this medium to ask for a full refund of my un-used segment, as I would never used your services again, why should a fellow black treat me this way?

I need my money back as soon as possible.”

At least, not after FG said it was going to crash. If you don't have news, come and I'll give you something to talk about. Talk about CHANGE from Buhari and how it's been purging Nigerians. 4. Olusola Oke
Social media campaigns certainly don't win you elections all the time.
Godfathers hiding behind shadows don't guarantee you victory either.

Oke who recently defected from the PDP, mustered a decent fight to poll third and should be proud of his efforts and campaign.
But that campaign was founded on a false premise.
Loser.

3. Eyitayo Jegede
What was he expecting?
It's a miracle that Eyitayo still polled second after learning he was the substantive candidate, 48 hours before the first vote was cast in anger

Like his PDP, Eyitayo prepared to fail. They got their wish.

2. PDP
What a mess the PDP was, before, during and after the Ondo election.
The once governing party still can't resolve an internal crisis that has left it with two factional Chairmen, two factional candidates before the Ondo election and two factional candidates before the Edo election.
Jimoh Ibrahim collects Ondo governorship form from factional PDP Chairman, Ali Modu Sheriffplay

It's unfortunate that the biggest opposition party in the land still can't get its act together in 2016.
Epic fail.

LOSERS

1. Bola Tinubu

Oh well, where do we start from?
Asiwaju was unhappy after Aketi got the APC governorship ticket ahead of his preferred candidate, Olusegun Abraham.

Guess who was among the first set of persons to pen the Governor-elect a congratulatory note?

5. Jimoh Ibrahim
brahim was overjoyed when his PDP lost.
He made sure to waste his party's time in court.
By the time the court ruled in Eyitayo Jegede's favour, the PDP was playing catch up.

And Ibrahim's chuckle could be heard from miles away.

4. Owo axis
Akeredolu hails from Owo and for some time now, that geopolitical zone in the South West State had felt left out of the power equation.
The Owo/Ose axis of the North hasn't produced a Governor since 1979.
Outgoing Governor Olusegun Mimiko hails from Ondo central.
Protesters at INEC office in Ondo stateplay
Ondo voters (Punch)

The South produced Olusegun Agagu (Okitipupa) in 2003.
Adebayo Adefarati (elected Governor in 1999) was from Akoko, North of Ondo.
Owo was justified to have felt this was their chance to produce a Governor from their region of the State and they did.
Winners.

3. Saraki, Fashola, Fayemi, Okorocha

The quartet broke ranks with the Bourdillon arm of APC and funneled resources into an Aketi victory.
Senate President Bukola Saraki must have been relieved not to occupy the same podium with Bola Tinubu on the campaign trail in Ondo.

While it was convenient for Governors Ambode, Aregbesola and Ajimobi to shun Aketi's campaign rallies, Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha showed Aketi and the Ondo APC, ample support.
He was joined by Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun.
Ministers Babatunde Fashola and Kayode Fayemi would normally have gone with Tinubu's boycott plans, but they stuck by their President's choice instead.
Good move. Winners.

. 2. President Muhammadu Buhari
He's overseeing a faltering economy and having to deal with a disenchanted and depressed citizenry.
Ondo and Edo were supposed to be the referendum for the governing political party

On the evidence of two State electoral successes on the bounce for his APC, Buhari can afford a smile and some massage again in the other room.

Saw this on Pulse.ng and I felt I should share it here
Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu is Governor-elect of Ondo State. That's no longer news.
However, this election left us with some winners and losers.
Here's a quick rundown:
WINNERS
1. Rotimi Akeredolu (nickname: Aketi).

When the biggest political godfather in the South West goes against you and you still win big, you definitely deserve some respect
Time to put some respeck on Aketi's name.

Aketi in one word? BOSS.

Politics › Winners and Losers emerge as Kashamu accuse Mimiko For Pdp’s Failure In Ondo by Hargbo(op):
Some members of PDP are not taking the loss of their party in the just concluded Ondo election and the blames have started pouring in. According to Senator Buruji Kashamu, PDP wouldn’t have lost if Governor Mimiko had listened to them. Part of the statement released by the Senator reads; “We told Governor Mimiko that after eight years in office, the good people of Ondo State would resist the injustice of producing a successor from the same senatorial district where he hails from. “It is not that Jegede is not a good material. He is urbane, intelligent and smart. He would have probably won had he come from any other senatorial zone than Mimiko’s. Continue… “We told Mimiko that the people would not take anything that would look like a third term for him and his senatorial district. He would not listen. “ Mimiko turned deaf ears to wise counsel, just like he turned his back on all those who helped him to power. “Despite being the Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, Mimiko turned himself into Fayose’s puppet, allowing Fayose to lead him by the nose.”
