Note that this applies if you have full current.
If the current is not that full , the reading becomes slower
Eg if it takes you 1hr to cook beans at full current with 1unit of energy, then it might take you 2hrs or more in medium current to cook the same beans with 0.40 units

That is how it works . I use a cooker of 1000w and it is far cheaper than gas.
I am on band C though

band C rates are cheaperthan band A. I'm only stating based on ideal level
