ghettodreamz: Oga ooooooo..with the way you reason me sef follow you cry |
P406: my thoughts on this matter..when I saw the Prof Ibeh news I said to myself things are not done like this.In this day and age research is not a one man show when you do stuff, one must actively seek peer review or at least conduct independent clinical trials to avoid bias before going public. This is particularly so in Nigeria, because we have had fraudulent claims in the past..Abalaka,Jacob Abdullahi et al. The issue here is not one of who takes credit but of ethics of clinical research and so let's not get emotional about this ,yes,hiv/aids is ravaging our continent but we must not let unscrupulous people take advantage of this desperate situation like we have seen in the past.Guy you dey reason, and our dear Prof Ibeh supposedly tested his 'cure' on a sample size of 9 people only!. Prof Ibeh may well have found something here (benefit of the doubt), after-all artemisinin combination therapies presently the rave of the moment for treating malaria is extracted from plants that have long been used by the chinese to treat malaria, but his approach is clearly wrong. Drugs are not made on the pages of the newspaper, you have to show that what you have found actually works through documented Randomized clinical trials, review of your findings, etc. Nobody is going to steal your work if you have a patent for it, Medicine is evidence-based, Nobody is going to take this Prof serious, as a matter of fact I think he just made a fool of himself in the comity of scientists, pray how is his approach different from that of Yemkem and the tradomedical practitioners that sell drugs on tv and molue buses? |
bright007: The reporter of this news is a fool.Even though I am not a muslim, your moniker is not an accurate representation of your level of cerebration |
Bros two fighting different from Lynching
Guy this one no be two fighting, na 'one beating', don't try to paint it with a different brush |
razznaija: Don Jazzy is one of the most responsible celebs in naija, is this guy sure that it's Don Jazzy that is behind this? No, na papa ajasco ![]() |
1 candidate from the north (represents 3 geopolitical zones) 1 candidate from the south-west (who does not have the backing of the supposed tin god who is from his zone0 3 candidates from the south-east alone! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how this will end in an election in which the votes actually count! |
vanstanzy: U saw it as kneeling before Adegboye (a mere mortal). But most probably he& Adegboye saw it as kneeling before God. Mind what u spew from ur "Mandibles", else what happened to King Davids wife happens to u. She got cursed for mocking David when he danced praising God.Nigerians do not deserve this presidential mess. I am a southerner and a christian at that but I find it unconscionable that GEJ presides over the monumentally corrupt and effete contraption he calls a government and instead of acting like the GCFR he is supposed to be continues to chase shadows. He is THE PRESIDENT for chrissakes! |
HARDDON: word! Wow ! Pure!Word bro, lovely, another magnificient piece from you. But in another world I would have challenged you to a fight to the death just for writing these words. why you say? because no mortal should be so gifted with the gift of words. My eyez are on you Hard-don, so you better watch your back! ![]() |

Can a man really be 'tied down'? |
safarigirl: Don't ne stewpid just to seem smart..Don Jazzy didn't fire D'banj, rather D'banj resigned because he felt there were better opportunties, in which case, he ought to be mature enough to salute an old friend and partner, irrespective of the terms they parted on.even when the old friend and partner left before he came on stage? get off your jaundiced horse |
@ Ladies If you had a son chasing a lady for 2 years, wouldn't you scold him? ........ Na so I knack her best friend. Sagamite: Your mental welfare should be the government's concern.Lord have mercy!!, I don laff sotey I wan begin cry, this is what makes NL fun. @topic. With all due respect to the ladies, I don't think any woman is worth 'wasting' time over. How do you expect a guy to 'chase' you for 2 years!!!, such a guy is either jobless and very ugly or has a low self esteem. If a lady really likes a guy she will go out with him in good time and not make him 'oversweat'. Whether you spend 10 days wooing a lady or 10 years is irrelevant, if babe like you, she like you be that, and if she no like you, if you like spend a century chasing after her, it won't work. All the wasted energy and time can be channeled towards making meaningful impact elsewhere. By the way who wants to waste all that time chasing a skirt when life is so ephemeral and there are tons of things yet unachieved. Boys don wise up joor, seek yee first the kingdom of success (especially financial success) and almost every other thing shall be added unto you. I have spoken. |
Girls like that are few, most of them just want to look fine and basically offer nothing else. The dumbest thing you can do with this chick however is to bend over, I am not saying you should be a jerk or arrogant or anything like that. You have to be confident, hold your ground and let her see you are not just a mass of muscles with nothing else to offer. |

All this when some indigent students are struggling to pay school fees, many are looking for how to raise the necessary funds to buy their next cup of garri and many more are languishing in poverty? I don tire sef, I just hope this is all propaganda by the 'perceived enemies' of the state, but then no rebutal has been published since the story first broke.
