Any parent that's crying to see their child return back to school after 8 months is a witch Yes! A WITCH!!! |
Auskyd:My point, ASUU should try and be sensible before going on strike. Right now ASUU is looking stupid in the face of everyone. The only people supporting the strike are your family members. |
Auskyd:I predicted the strike was not end this year. And i remembered stressing how stupid ASUU is to declare strike when the present administration has less than a year in office. It's not very intelligent of educational pioneers |
Emmamay10:This may sound insensitive, but they lost a member yesterday. May his or her soul rest in peace |
Auskyd:How did that go with your junior unions "SSANU"? Everything will be soon clear! |
The Saga: We all know the strike has been on since since February. I remembered when I predicted in my previous thread that the strike is not going to end this year because ASUU president is been rigid with his demands, and the government is just going to keep playing them until the next administration comes on board. I then implored ASUU members to restrategize on everything, or probably wait for the next administration before they start this rigorous strike. We all know the current administration has nothing to lose, and it's not a very smart move declaring an endless strike when the present government has less than a year in the seat of power. I remembered some people insulting me, and calling me all sorts of names. Some people started lecturing me on how a government administration is continuous, and blah blah. While some were hell bent on unveiling who's behind my moniker! Some lecturers on here accused me of working for APC, especially when I started pushing for the end of the union. To me they are doing more harm than good with their yearly strikes!!! The Spoiler; The spoiler remains the same. The government is going to keep playing ASUU, while ASUU president will keep ranting and claiming he wants this and that (and hiding under the umbrella of fighting for the students) And they'll keep romancing each other until the year ends, and then a new president will be elected, and maybe then strike will be called off. ASUU will then come up with new demands or ask government to come and sign agreement made in 1864 with General sani Abacha. Reality: If you are smart enough, choose a different school like I did. I started last month, and we are starting our first semester exam time table is already scheduled for next month. Time table is out, and we are expected to end this session come January. School is not hard, na you wan go federal university. I gained admission without UTME, and post utme nonsense. I gained admission without stress, even when the school was already in session. There's no guarantee that ASUU won't declare another strike 2023 or 2024 because their demands are like Zee World (Extraordinary Everyday). We know they are the only civil servant in Nigeria. Come January, I will be above my current classmates. ASUU will keep wasting your time, and delaying your future. They will still get paid at the end of everything (They have started pushing for their salaries), while they are doing other jobs such as lecturing in a private university. My next door neighbor and his friends are a perfect example; so I know what I am saying. Finally, certificate is certificate. An employer won't treat you better because you attended Fulafia, UniJos, Unilag, Uniben, Uniport, UNIZIK, UNICAL, etc. A school name does not guarantee your employment status What guarantees your employment is your grades, and how you present and defend what you have upstairs. The sooner you realize that a school brand name is useless to your employer. The sooner you will be free from all of this nonsense. I'll end it with this: The world is constantly evolving, opportunities comes and go. Don't allow some old people delay you, and restrain you from exploring other life opportunities. This will be the last time I will be talking about president Ososokeke and his union. Salaam

NaijaBookings:He forever remains my crush. He will come back better. |
At least make Dem no call off this strike till after election next year ooo ASUU remember united you stand, divided you beg (Evil grins) ![]() What am i saying sef? As for me, I have bought form at a reputable and low cost private uni. After all, we will be given the same certificate! |
If ASUU calls off strike, then, FG won. You guys don't understand that FG are the villaîns here. They don't want to pay the money in arrears owed, then, using hunger and promises as a bait to make them resume. You don't understand that if they agree to FG's decision, they won't have the power to embark on another strike WHEN FG refuses to pay them before this year ends even. Besides what happened to the "Revisitation" that they were clamouring about? Remember they also said they were not going to call off the strike after all of their demands are met? Why are they considering calling off the strike? It's too early to call off strike. Dear ASUU, Remember two years is the goal!!!!!!!!! |

Minjim:They must not pay them one kobo! That way everybody lose, and they will always think twice before declaring an endless strike!
|
.
|
Mammangaddafi:I have also given up on the whole issue |
. |
Mammangaddafi:See you next year or in two years time! |
Kiddogarcia:. ASUU chairman said 2 years strike is the goal |
samuelpeters:They will soon come for you, and claim the 1982 agreement also involves revisitation, increase and bla bla. Meanwhile; https://guardian.ng › news › well-su... We'll suspend strike if UTAS agreement is signed with FG today - ASUU That's what their president always say everytime he goes on live TV or whenever he's interviewed. FG is never going to approve UTAS. The sooner ASUU realize this, the sooner we'll resume

Auskyd:Who says I am above 18? I am 16 years of age. Although my school thinks I am above 18 (evil grin) ![]() I know IPPIS is a scam. My father and his peers complain about it all the time. What's baffling is that they are not on strike because of it. |
Auskyd:What does that mean? All my wailings if for ASUU to go back to the classroom. I don't care about how it happens. |
Auskyd:Yes he joined the army after I was born! Don't want to bring my family into this but he had me while he was a teenager! He joined the army as a recruit after having me. Sir my dad is a sergeant who has worked for more than 15 years. His salary is less than #70k. (Do your findings sir) He's also a victim of the same IPPIS scam that is keeping ASUU off the classroom. How do you justify that? Strike continues; Please remember that! |
Auskyd:Speaking on verifying my identity. Please understand that I can't expose my identity. I know what lecturers are capable of whenever they are been antagonized. I would not jeopardize my identity on this space because of******* Back to the matter on ground, ASUU can fight for all of their demands while school is in session. ASUU thinks strike aids quicker response from the government. This is the 6 month of the strike, and nothing has been done. Who's losing? The STUDENTs Resume, and continue the struggle Sir! |
Christian36:You people are just finding ways to derail the thread. |
Auskyd:But sir, it's the same everywhere. My father has served in the army for more than 15 years and he earns less than #70k per month. He has three kids to fend for. He lives off microfinance bank, and the support from my mother, relatives and friends. He can't even afford a car. |
Faber:I was paid 1M Do you want to pay me higher than that? |
Firefox01:They don't care! I don't know who's more wicked between FG and ASUU |
WhizdomXX:Just imagine, and some people are still supporting them |
MyFlair:I am a student of UNN |
9gerian:It's not going to end. Watch and observe how the present day government will handover to the next Administration without resolving the strike... |
MyFlair:There we go again... You think I am a APC bot? If I was a APC paid agent, I will have asked the following questions; Was it APC that made the agreement with you peopl3? Why stressing them? |
author=SATANlSTMINION post=115754509] you're a student of university of Benin, studying public administration. Should i expose your full name on this forum? Better be careful before you put yourself into trouble. Be like school no sweet you again[/quote]Because I mentioned UNIBEN & Administration in one of my posts? You then decide to jump into conclusion, and assumed I am a student of the said school. Go back and check my other posts, and see where I mentioned 2 other schools. That was how someone sent me a DM few days ago and was convinced that I am Halima from his department at Unijos. All effort to prove him or her wrong has proven abortive. FYI I don't even school in the east. I am a student of Unical (evil grin) ![]() |
Folasadepitan:FG ought to have done something about them long enough. Since they are willing to wait to wait for the next Administration. I pray the next administration breaks their wings. Because they clearly feel they are bigger, and have two heads #EndASUU |
