Adding Pictures or Artwork to an audio file can be tricky and a lot of artist love this feature. If you are a producer or promoter the you really need this extra skill to boost your artist or song. For sake of clarity i will explain how this is done on a few music software easily.

WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER
Steps

Open Windows Media Player.
Drag the file into the music section of the library.
Drag the picture you want the cover photo to be to the note sign (highlighted).
It will be like this when done.

iTUNES MUSIC Player

Find the song in iTunes with missing artwork. …
Open Safari and go to Google Image Search (images.google.com). …
Highlight the song in iTunes and press Command + I (or Control + Click the track and choose Get Info).
Click the Artwork tab.
Click Get Artwork.

For Linux Users like myself;

If you use VLC Media Player and if you want to display or add album art to any MP3 files, then just access media information options and either browse and put up an album art (also known as cover art) or try to download it automatically. The only thing that you have to do is bring up the media information screen and then the options will be accessible in the bottom-right after you right click on the art or VLC icon.

The cover art along with other metadata information are used by different audio or music players in different ways. The data is saved on the MP3 file itself. You will notice the file size changes if you add cover picture, especially if you add large pictures. When the same MP3 file is transferred to your smartphone as an example, your player will use the album picture and other metadata information to display on-screen while playing and also giving you the feature to sort out or browse by artist, genre etc.

Here are the steps with screenshots to edit your cover art picture using VLC media player:

Go to Tools > Information.

It brings up the Current Media Information screen.

On the bottom right, there will either be a picture or you will see the VLC icon. Right click on it.

From the right click menu, use:
Download cover art: To get the album picture automatically from the internet.
Add cover art from file: Manually browse and choose a picture file.

The information will be saved automatically.

What is a SSL certificate?

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a cryptographic protocol designed to keep communication safe over the Internet. An SSL certificate is a digitally signed file issued for a particular domain name/domain names. Besides the domain name, the certificate also contains the issuer signature, serial number, expiration date, etc. To enable a secure connection and protect important information, an SSL certificate file should be installed on the server. Once the SSL installation is completed, you can securely access your service via HTTPS or any other SSL protocols like FTPS, IMAPS, POP3S, SMTPS, NNTPS, LDAPS, etc.

So, let’s take a look at main advantages of using a SSL certificate.

Encryption

An SSL certificate helps to protect sensitive information such as logins, passwords, account details and cardholders information for e-commerce websites during Internet communication. Basically, Internet is a chain of computers, and every computer which takes part in data transfer from source to destination can read and recognize unencrypted information. The main idea is that all information is encrypted before being submitted, and only the web server and website visitor have personal keys to decrypt and recognize it. Encryption prevents eavesdropping and tampering information by hackers and identity thieves.

Authentication

It is important to know that a website you would like to visit and where you want to make a payment is authentic and trustworthy. To ease identification, the website server sends an SSL certificate to your web browser for verification. The web browser analyzes the information received from the SSL certificate and decides whether the certificate is trusted or not. Why some SSL certificates are trusted, and others are not? The main difference is that trusted SSL certificates are issued by Certificate Authorities after the applicant (website owner) passes their verification procedures. Every modern web browser with up-to-date configuration trusts the SSL certificates issued by Certificate Authorities. The verification depth and trust level mostly depend on the validation type of a particular SSL certificate.

Domain validation. The most affordable and the least verified SSL certificate type. Usually, the Certificate Authority verifies only domain control rights for a particular domain name. More instructions on how to complete domain control validation (DCV) can be found here.
Organization validation. SSL certificates of this type contain the company name and address by default. The person who applies for an OV certificate should prove that the organization is real. The organization details must be accessible in online public databases; the organization’s phone number is verified as well. The Certificate Authority may also require additional paperwork to prove the company’s identity. Detailed validation information for OV certificates can be found here.
Extended validation. Only EV certificates provide a green bar with the company name and the highest user trust level. Besides OV requirements, an EV certificate can be applied for by a legal employee (VP, Officer, CEO, CIO) who has the authority to sign a subscriber agreement and a certificate request. The organization must have been registered and have been in operation for more than 3 years; otherwise, the CA may require additional paperwork. Trusted indicators

An SSL certificate also provides your web-resource with trusted indicators which can help visitors to make sure that your website is reliably protected.All SSL certificates from the Namecheap company provide a padlock in the address bar and the https:// connection no matter of which validation type they are.Certificate Authorities supply every SSL product with additional security signs – site seals that may be installed on your website as well. These are optional security signs which can be static and dynamic. Dynamic site seals as well as SSL certificates may show various information about your domain name, organization (if you have one), Certificate Authority and security parameters. Let’s take a look at different trusted indicators based on validation types:

Domain validation SSL certificates:
Trusted indicators for a correctly installed and configured SSL certificate should be https:// in the address bar and padlock without any warning messages (mandatory). The examples of these signs for a domain validation SSL certificate in various web browsers can be found below:

It is only possible to avoid this by using a proper Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and getting an SSL Certificate from a trusted SSL provider.

Why are SSL providers important? Trusted SSL providers will only issue an SSL certificate to a verified company that has gone through several identity checks. Certain types of SSL certificates, like EV SSL Certificates, require more validation than others. How do you know if an SSL provider is trusted? You can use our SSL Wizard to compare SSL providers that are included in most web browsers. Web browser manufactures verify that SSL providers are following specific practices and have been audited by a third-party using a standard such as WebTrust.

SSL Provides Trust
Web browsers give visual cues, such as a lock icon or a green bar, to make sure visitors know when their connection is secured. This means that they will trust your website more when they see these cues and will be more likely to buy from you. SSL providers will also give you a trust seal that instills more trust in your customers.

HTTPS also protects against phishing attacks. A phishing email is an email sent by a criminal who tries to impersonate your website. The email usually includes a link to their own website or uses a man-in-the-middle attack to use your own domain name. Because it is very difficult for these criminals to receive a proper SSL certificate, they won’t be able to perfectly impersonate your site. This means that your users will be far less likely to fall for a phishing attack because they will be looking for the trust indicators in their browser, such as a green address bar, and they won’t see it.

SSL is required for PCI Compliance
In order to accept credit card information on your website, you must pass certain audits that show that you are complying with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards. One of the requirements is properly using an SSL Certificate.

Disadvantages of SSL
With so many advantages, why would anyone not use SSL? Are there any disadvantages to using SSL certificates? Cost is an obvious disadvantage. SSL providers need to set up a trusted infrastructure and validate your identity so there is a cost involved. This has been alleviated by increased competition in the industry and the introduction of providers like Let’s Encrypt. Performance is another disadvantage to SSL. Because the information that you send has to be encrypted by the server, it takes more server resources than if the information weren’t encrypted. The performance difference is only noticeable for web sites with very large numbers of visitors and can be minimized with special hardware in such cases.

Overall, the disadvantages of using SSL are few and the advantages far outweigh them. It is critical that you properly use SSL on all websites. Proper use of SSL certificates will help protect your customers, help protect you, and help you to gain your customers trust and sell more.

After learning to hack Minecraft using Python on a Raspberry Pi computer, he decided to set up South London Raspberry Jam to share his passion for coding with other young people. Owolade-Coombes has since run hundreds of coding and robot workshops throughout the world. His community events have are fully inclusive, welcoming young people who have autism or—like him—Tourettes Syndrome, while his business brings workshops to companies and public organizations. Owolade-Coombes was presented an inaugural Diana Award, where he was invited to St James’ Palace and presented with his award by the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry.

Hackerfemo has been coding since he was nine years old. After learning to hack Minecraft using Python on the Raspberry Pi computer, he decided to set up South London Raspberry Jam – to share his passion for coding with other young people. Three years on, Femi has run hundreds of coding and robot workshops across the UK and internationally. In 2017, he won an Inaugural Legacy Diana Award for his kindness, compassion and duty to the community. He has been recognised as a ‘Change- enabler’ and an inspirational young coding ambassador. An Italian trade union has announced that Fiat workers at its Melfi plant down south will go on strike over Cristiano Ronaldo’s €105m transfer to Juventus.

It is thought some of that fee will be paid through sponsorships by Juve’s parent company Exor, which owns the likes of FIAT and Ferrari, prompting a furious backlash from the Unione Sindacale di Base.

“It’s unacceptable that while FCA and CNHI workers continue to make huge economic sacrifices, the company then spends hundreds of millions of euros on the purchase of a player,” it said in a statement.

“We’re told that times are tough, that we need to resort to social safety nets, waiting for the launch of new models, which never arrive.

“And while the workers and their families tighten their belts more and more, the company decides to invest a lot of money on a single human resource!

“Is this fair? It is normal for one person to earn millions, while thousands of families can’t even get to the middle of the month?

“We’re all employees of the same owner, but this difference in treatment cannot and must not be accepted.

“The Fiat workers have made the company’s fortune for at least three generations, but in return they have only ever received a life of misery.

“The company should invest in car models that guarantee the futures of thousands of people, rather than enriching only one.

“That should be the objective, a company that puts the interests of their employees first. If it isn’t, it’s because they prefer the world of football, entertainment and everything else.

“For the reasons described above, the Unione Sindacale di Base has declared a strike at FCA Melfi between 10pm on Sunday July 15 and 6pm on Tuesday July 17.”

Can was finally unveiled as a Juve player on Monday, and the former Liverpool midfielder hinted he had turned down the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid to join the Old Lady, who share his ‘mentality’ of winning trophies.

Mozilla is working on a new Android browser, and it's not called Firefox
Mozilla, the company behind the very popular Firefox browser and a couple of other lesser-known ones, seems to be working on yet another one for Android.
Codenamed Fenix, it’s a pretty secretive project that could probably be very well defined by the single comment in the GitHub repository: “Fenix is not your parent’s Android browser”. We are talking pure speculation here, but this sounds like Mozilla is aiming for a very private browser tailored for mobile — and hopefully it includes an incognito mode. If you think that incognito mode is a standard feature these days, tell it to Opera Touch which comes sans the essential featurette.
As a refresher, Firefox has the following items in its development lineup:
Firefox, the flagship browser of Mozilla’s;
Firefox Focus, a lightweight browser aiming to improve mobile experience
Firefox Rocket, exclusive to some regions;
Firefox Klar, another region-exclsuive browser.
Of course, each of these has its own purpose and intended audience, which could be hinting that Fenix would b Firefox users that are using the Android platform. There are no clues if an iOS version is coming along as well. No further info about Firefox’s secretive Fenix project is known at this point, but we guess we’ll know more as soon as the browser materializes.

This program was set up to assist undergraduate and postgraduate students in the Motherland - AFRICA - to acquire knowledge in Universities, Colleges and other Institutions of learning in the United States. It is an initiative of the Union of Africa Americans in the United States as part of a special contribution for the development of the human resources of the Motherland.

RECIPIENTS' QUALIFICATION
This scholarship is open to only African students not above age 35. To qualify for selection, candidates must meet the stated basic requirements, in addition to ensuring that entries are made not later than the specified deadline date. Candidates are selected from the fully completed entries received and which are verifiable before 31st December. Successful candidates are notified before end February of the following year.

Strong willingness for intellectual pursuit is a necessary prerequisite. Not all applications to this program are considered. To succeed, an applicant must submit relevant details of sound academic background, and information through which verification can be made.

RECIPIENTS' ENTITLEMENT
A recipient of the scholarship will be assisted to study in United States Free of tuition throughout the duration of the chosen program. In addition, the recipient will provisionally receive an annual allowance of US$3,000 for welfare. A woman was taken to the morgue and pronounced dead after a car crash near Johannesburg in South Africa.

The only problem? She wasn't dead.

According to the BBC, the unnamed woman woke up in a mortuary fridge after a car pile-up on June 24 which reportedly left two others dead.

The woman was discovered by a morgue worker, according to the news service, and she is now recovering in a hospital east of Johannesburg.

The woman's family declined to comment on the incident to the BBC, but said, "We need answers."

So, how did this happen? An investigation is reportedly underway. Ambulance company Distress Alert, who mispronounced the woman dead, told news publisher Times Live, “Equipment used to determine life showed no form of life on the woman."

"This did not happen because our paramedics are not properly trained," the company's statement added. "There is no proof of any negligence by our crew."

How does this keep happening?
It's not the first time this has happened. In fact, it's not as uncommon as you'd think.

In Poland, a 91-year-old woman woke up in a morgue fridge after having been declared legally dead. A similar thing also happened to a 24-year-old Kenyan man, a 61-year-old woman in Delaware, and a 30-year-old man in Australia. A 78-year-old man in Mississippi made it all the way to a funeral home in a body bag before workers discovered he was alive.

One of the most horrifying cases involved a prison inmate in Spain's Asturias region, certified dead by no less than three doctors, who just happened to regain consciousness just before he was about to undergo an autopsy.

There are a few theories on why this happens, and it's always dependent on the "dead" person's situation — how they supposedly "died" — and the country where they're legally declared dead.

The Guardian points out one of the most common theories. Some people experience a condition called catalepsy, an immobilising nervous disorder that replicates rigor mortis (the stiffening of muscles after death), decreases the body's response to stimuli, and slows breathing. You can see how they'd look pretty dead to a first responder.

The inmate in Spain was thought to have suffered from catalepsy. Whether the woman in South Africa suffers from this condition remains to be seen, but the first responders did say their equipment "showed no form of life on the woman." We're not sure which equipment they used yet.

There's also what's called the Lazarus phenomenon, described as delayed return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) — basically, when a person who's suffered a cardiac arrest "comes back to life" after you've stopped performing CPR. It's coined from the Bible story of Lazarus, who was said to have been resurrected by Jesus days after his death, and is apparently very rarely reported.

Or it could be biofeedback. That's when an individual learns to directly control activation of localised regions within the brain — meaning you can supposedly learn to lower your heart rate to make it look like you're dead. Why you would want to do this? James Bond does something like it in Die Another Day, so spying, I guess?

So, how does a person make it all the way into the morgue fridge and survive in there? According to The Conversation, in very cold circumstances (let's say, an avalanche, or a mortuary fridge), a body's cells need less oxygen in the lower temperature, so they lapse into a state of hibernation. Until they're revived, the body will remain in a preserved state of unconsciousness — until it's really, really not.

How can you legally determine death?
Legally confirming death used to be straightforward, back in the old days before technology made things more complex. Now, it's possible to keep the heart beating after the brain stem has stopped functioning, but that's another kettle of fish.

In the U.S., each state has laws for determining death, whether as cardiopulmonary death (heartbeat and breathing has stopped) or brain death (brain functions have stopped).

These two categories have been identified by the Uniform Determination of Death Act (UDDA), approved by both the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Bar Association (ABA), which stipulates that either type of death must be "irreversible" to declare someone dead.

And while another conversation for another time, there are legal and ethical considerations to make if a person suffers from brain damage, not necessarily death, but their heart is still beating.

Who gets to legally declare it?
"There is variation between the states and even with counties as to who is permitted to pronounce an individual dead," writes forensic experts Jason Payne-James and Roger Byard in the Encyclopedia of Forensic and Legal Medicine. "In some locations, civilians are allowed by law to pronounce an individual dead. In many locations emergency medical technicians, paramedics, and even first-responders are permitted to declare death."

"Most law enforcement officers and firefighters can make a pronouncement, however; they typically contact the medical examiner or coroner’s office to certify the death."

In the case of the not-so-dead woman in South Africa, it appears the first-responders working for Distress Alert were the ones doing the legal pronouncing, and as detailed above, they're blaming their equipment.

Algeria are considering a possible joint North African bid along with their neighbors reports from Goal.com suggest.

Algeria’s interest to organize the 2030 tournament comes barely a month after Morocco lost its quest to host the 2026 Fifa World Cup to a combined bid between the United States, Canada and Mexico.

With Morocco emerging lightweight against a strong United bid, a joint North African submission could strengthen Africa's case for an expanded 48-team tournament.

Morocco have already expressed interest to go for the 2030 edition, and now Algeria is raising up their hand to bring the World Cup to the Maghreb region. Tunisia have been drawn into the mix.

Mohamed Hattab, the Algerian Sports Minister proposed co-hosting of the only other World Cup to be held on African soil after South Africa 2010.

“With the sports facilities that were built as part of the program of the President of the Republic for the benefit of youth and sports, Algeria is ready to study a possible joint application with Morocco and Tunisia for the organization of the football World Cup. Algeria is open to submit a joint bid with Tunisia and Morocco to host the World Cup in 2030,” Hattab told El Khabar newspaper.

Tunisia are yet to confirm their position on whether they would go ahead with joining Morocco's bid. The trio could receive competition by a joint South American bid of Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay, as the only other interest in 2030 so far.

Everyone’s idea of a full-time income will be different. My target was $3000/month when I first started out, which equaled to $100/day. For our calculations in this post, let’s also use $100/day, as that seems to be one of the biggest milestones people want to reach with their own websites.

When I see people talk about Adsense, I see a lot of discussion about profitable niches, cost per click, making a full-time income, etc but I never see much discussion about traffic. I see forum threads everyday of people wanting to learn how to reach $100/day with Adsense.

At the end of the day it’s all about traffic. There are many factors that affect a site’s overall income, but lots of traffic is the common denominator.

So how much traffic do you really need to get to $100/day with Adsense?

For me, I was able to reach a full-time income when I was consistently getting over 150,000 visitors per month. I wasn’t just getting that with one website though. Traffic was spread throughout about 20 sites, with 3 of them generating 90% of that.

Am I saying 150,000 visitors/month will always equal $100/day?

Of course not. It could be lower, or even much higher than that. There are so many factors in play that it’s going to be different for everybody. But, it’s a close estimation.
So how do you calculate it?

The biggest metric you need to calculate Adsense income for a website is RPM.
What is RPM?

Basically it’s the calculation of how much money you made per 1000 visitors. It’s calculated based on your traffic, CTR (click-through-rate), and CPC (cost per click). The average RPM I’ve experienced with Adsense is about $5 to $10 for broad niches and up to $100 for more competitive niches with high CPC.

If you’re able to know your RPM, you can accurately estimate earnings potentials for higher traffic numbers, as well as the amount of traffic you’ll need to make a full-time income.

For instance, if you’re making an average $10 RPM from one of your websites, that’s $10 for every 1000 visitors on your site.

So you can easily calculate that if you increased your traffic to 100,000 visitors, you would make $1000. If you grew it it 1,000,000 you would make $10,000. Again, not perfectly accurate, but a good estimation.
What is the average RPM?

The average RPM for AdSense ranges greatly depending on your niche, quality of website, traffic source, and the number of advertisers on the AdWords platform. On the low end, it will usually be around $2 to $5. On the medium end, it can range from $5 to $10. On the higher end, that can go all the way up to $50+.
Traffic Required to Make $100/Day

Let’s break down the numbers even further with some example metrics.

We’ll try to use numbers as close to average as possible. For this example, we’ll use a $1 CPC and a 5% CTR. So how much traffic do we need to make $100 per day with those figures?

First, we need to figure out how many clicks equates to $100.
100 / 1 = 100 clicks.

If we need 100 clicks at 5% CTR, the total traffic must be…
100 / 0.05 = 2,000.

We need 2,000 visitors a day. Per month, that is…
2,000 x 30 = 60,000.

60,000 visitors every month to make $100/day with Adsense. Of course, this is just an estimation using very ideal metric figures. It’s not easy to maintain an average CPC of $1+, and CPC is a giant factor in how much traffic you’ll require to reach this figure.

Some of my blogs consistently get over 10% CTR, while others get under 2%. Some of my sites get CPC of $2-$5, while others never get higher $0.30.
Can you guess what the RPM is on the example site above?

If you answered $50, you’re correct. Remember, RPM is how much you would make for 1000 visitors on your website. If you got 1000 visitors at $1 CPC and a 5% CTR, that’s 50 clicks (5% of 1000) at $1 earned per click.

A $50 RPM is really great. If I were getting $50 RPM on a site, I would really start building it out with more posts and meaty content to boost those traffic figures.

You can then calculate estimated income based on your future traffic goals.

If you were to increase traffic on the site to 500,000 visitors a month, that is $25,000 a month.

These are all estimations but be rest assured if you spend money on ads and publish on other websites, then you’re good. You number of Social Media Followers count too.

On Monday’s episode of “Red Table Talk” with Jada Pinkett Smith, the former “Rich Kids of Beverly Hills” star, 26, said that his father, NBA legend Magic Johnson, didn’t initially take the news too well.

EJ’s mom, Cookie Johnson, was also at the table and shared that she first asked EJ about his sexuality after observing him and a friend on a family trip to Hawaii. After confirming her thoughts, then came time to share it with Magic.

“We had the talk with Dad and that was a little tough,” Cookie, 59, said. “My husband is the kind of person like he reacts quickly. Everything that came to the top of his head, he just let it out.”

Cookie explained that the conversation turned hurtful adding, “It hurt my feelings and I know it probably hurt [EJ’s] feelings.” Cookie recalled Magic, 58, saying, “This is not what I wanted for my son. Brazilian superstar Neymar limped away from a small training game on Tuesday with what appeared to be some sort of lower body injury.

Neymar, who is still working his way back to 100 percent from a foot injury suffered in late February, was seen grimacing as he left the field in apparent frustration:


The 26-year-old winger pulled up after pursuing the ball from the middle of the keep-away game. About 20 seconds later, he angrily kicked a ball with his left foot as he turned away from the rondo circle, the best indication that something wasn’t right.

Brazil officials played down the severity of the injury, and said Neymar would be back at training on Wednesday ahead of Friday’s game against Costa Rica. But Brazilian fans everywhere are understandably concerned.

Brazil’s 1-1 draw with Switzerland on Sunday was Neymar’s first competitive game since February. He sustained a broken bone in his foot – a fractured metatarsal – playing for PSG in a Ligue 1 match against Marseille. He missed the remainder of the club season after opting for surgery.

By all accounts, his recovery was going smoothly. He did a significant portion of his rehab back home in Brazil. He joined the national team’s pre-World Cup camp with the rest of the squad in May.

And he dazzled in both of Brazil’s warmup friendlies. Coming off the bench in the first, he initially looked slightly rusty, then scored a brilliant goal. He started the second and looked great, bamboozling a defender and again finding the back of the net.

But the Switzerland game was a struggle. The Swiss were rough with Brazil’s main man, fouling him 10 times. There was concern in the immediate aftermath of the game that one of those 10 gave Neymar a fresh injury. He missed training Monday with an ankle knock, but postgame evaluations revealed nothing serious.

So it’s unclear if Tuesday’s ailment is new, or if it’s a leftover from the beating Neymar took on Sunday. Either way, it sounds like he’ll be good to go for Costa Rica.
