Nacho is on the bench(he arrived this morning), Moffi played for Nice yesterday.
Yeah, just saw Nacho on the bench. I thought Moffi was supposed to replace Boniface, will he still join the squad later? I personally don't like the idea of Onuachu as back up striker.

No Nacho, sad. Also I thought Moffi replaced Boniface, why is he not on the bench?

Ndidi and Nacho will be severely missed, especially Nacho. Winning the last Afcon would have been easier than winning this one, our team is slightly weaker and the opponents are stronger.

Chukwueze played full match he couldn’t score
Pulisic got in as a sub & he scored
Not the first time it’s happening
Chukwueze has not scored a serie A goal we are already halfway in the season
Is he struggling to settle in
It is well my people
It's not looking good for Chukwueze, he'll soon be labeled a Milan flop.

The main problem that has always followed Chukwueze every where is consistency. He's had some pretty decent games this season.

Nacho wasn't listed in Leicester squad yesterday because of injuries. It'll be painful if he doesn't go to CIV and he'll be missed. To me after Osimhen, Nacho is our only other reliable forward.

And he's a better goal scorer than Boniface. He should rather hope he doesn't get too prolific in front of goal so Boniface can easily get back in the team.

Of course Boniface brings a lot more than he does, but football can be funny sometimes.
The bolded is actually my fears, the Schick guy started one match like that and got an hat trick before half time.

You're right though, Boniface brings more to the team than goals but as long as Leverkusen continues to create chances the way they do, they should manage without him.

Hear me out
Boniface absence at Leverkusen will cost them the title
If I am Boniface I will not go for Afcon
I will go in 2025
Boniface has a chance of winning african best or top 3 if leverkusen wins the Bundesliga
CAF best would most likely come from Afcon winner
We all know Nigeria isn’t in the right form to win Afcon plus we don’t have a good coach
Winning at Leverkusen is once in a generation opportunity
Not a smart move to go for Afcon 2024
Goodluck though
Hope you guys come back to this post in the future
We have many strikers
Smart career decision
Schick is capable too and can score goals. As long as the team continues playing the way they do, they should manage.

in d last 5 games

arsenal have won just 2,
lost 2
and draw 1

manutd have lost 2

draw 2

Why last five game?

If utd was 2nd in the league and topped their ucl group, no one will call eth a waste coach.

How are you enjoying this bore fest?
The only players making the match bearable are Shaw and AWB, especially AWB, his composure is commendable. Evans too decent, the rest mid.

We have 0 reliable wingers in the team at the moment

We all know Bayana Bayana of South Africa should have easily won this.
Winning WAFCON is not the sole criteria for choosing the winner. Super Falcons has been the best female team in the country this year.

The only players sure to win their category are Nnadozie and Oshoala.

We have officially become the whipping boys for big teams.. Absolutely disgraceful..

They just have to flog this ETH out of ManUtd..Zero competitiveness against big teams . Newcastle fielded same 11 for three games straight and still owned us like crazy ffs..
The most disheartening aspect of this team isn't just the losses; it's the normalization of being outplayed week after week. This approach won't work against top teams with clinical players, explaining our lack of wins against decent opponents this season. We no longer play like a big team.

Worst of all, ETH does not see any issue in our playing style; he seems to prefer us playing like underdogs.

Bassey always seem shaky but he has energy and good prospect
You hit the nail on the head, Bassey is shaky and can be easily dribbled, he's error prone too. Simply put, he's not a good defender. Partnering such a player with another shaky defender like Ajayi is suicide.

After Osimhen, Nacho is the next most important attacker in the team. Bassey and Ajayi shouldn't be starting for any team that's serious.

Look at the just concluded France match, forget the scoreline and focus on the gameplay, that's how football is supposed to look like. Something like that take decades to build and cannot be achieved by being corrupt.

Abacha is really wicked, how can you stole such amount from a country?
It was alleged that Nigeria was once so rich that the then head of state said the problem of the country was not money but how to spend it. Fast forward to today and we're the poverty capital of the world.

Where did all those money go? Imagine the scale of looting that must have happened in this country because only Abacha cannot be the cause of such turnaround.

That’s what you will say as a biased fan. Did you watch United’s game yesterday and if u did I know you saw many scoring chances missed?

No matter how you dominate, the end point is getting 3 points which was achieved. Atleast the most maligned united is 6th on the table currently and just 5 points below arsenal

So let’s see what happens from now till he end of the season
Yeah, I admit yesterday's game was a bit better. The team played well but still struggled to put away chances, major culprits being Garnacho and Hojlund.

some days are like that, United are passing through a bad phase at the moment which happens to great teams once in a while so chill

I wonder why no one even the English media is saying/said anything about Newcastle losing to Bournemouth yesterday and also liverpool that fought for their lives to get a draw against the same Luton united fought hard to win yesterday 🤣🤣🤣

That Liverpool draw vs Luton was a one-off. You saw how they dominated? Nunez missed a chance to win it, and they followed it up with a 3nil victory today. But Man U, I can't remember the last time we won a match with more than one goal margin no matter how poor the opponent is, every time na 'edge of the seat' moment with that team🤣🤣🤣.

As you said the team is going through a very bad phase and I hope they come out soon.

What are your thoughts about ETH though?

Boniface should be doing better, he's playing as a top 9 and starter for one of the most chance creating team in the league. He missed more than 2× the chances missed by the next person.

Aina is the one that always starts when he's fit.
