Doesn't mean he's not good. That Palmer is unplayable.

Man United and Chelsea agree deal for Mason Mount

Not my ideal choice but Ten Hag wants him. Would hv preferred Barella or Caicedo

Onana to happen next, hopefully before end of next week
Caicedo would've been better but we can't enter into a bidding war with Chelsea considering our limited resources.

Onana would improve the way the team plays very well. I just pray his as good at shot stopping as DDG, because he'll be tested alot in Man UTD

Hundreds of excited fans of Belgian champions Antwerp queued up to catch a first glimpse of 16-year-old striker George Ilenikhena, who is soon to sign the dotted lines for their darling club.

This was at the open day of the Belgian champions.

Antwerp are now set to complete the signing of the exciting teenager from French second division club Amiens.

They are reportedly ready to splash six Million Euros to sign the youngster, whose transfer market value is a Million Euros.

Ilenikhena was born in Nigeria and now has French nationality.

He scored eight goals in 27 appearances for Amiens.

Antwerp chief scout Joachim Vercaigne discovered the boy

German football giants Bayern Munich have completed the signing of 26-year-old South Korean defender Kim Min-Jae from Italian club Napoli.
Most of us thought Osimhen or Kvaratskelia will make the first big move from this Napoli side.

Congrats to the guy

Iqbal missed his 1st scholarship year (age 16-17) due to injury so i didn't see him play. His 2nd scholarship year (17-18) was quite good but Mejbri who was clearly better was playing Under-21 while Zidane was playing Under-18, though one can understand that Iqbal was just recovering from a full year out with injury. Plus Iqbal was still quite small then. He got bigger over time though and 2 seasons ago he and Mejbri were about the same level and then this last pre-season he had a better pre-season. Mejbri has been the more dominant player in the academy overall.

Maino's case is different. He is 2 years younger than Iqbal and has looked better than him most of the time they have played together. When i first saw Mainoo he was playing AM for the Under-18s and didn't look too impressive until i found out he was only 15 and was not meant to play there yet. The next season when he was 16 he was dominating the Under-18s as a CM and when he was 17 last year he was dominating his individual matchups against 21yr olds.

Iqbal has probably been the more aesthetically pleasing to watch but in terms of dominance in the academy Mejbri and Mainoo have been it. At Under-18 level the only way opponents could stop Mejbri was to slide tackle him. Same in his first Under-21 season. It would be interesting to see what happens with Mainoo and Mejbri. If they also fail to make it here we should probably close the academy and build a shopping center over it.
Thanks for explaining better! But £1M for Iqbal is just too small. I feel like Ten Hag is desperate to raise the amount of money available for transfers and clubs will be looking to take advantage of this.

This is the best thing that could have happened to him. He should leave the club and try to make it elsewhere.

The only issue is if ETH had sent him on loan last season we probably might have gotten up to 5m or even more for him. Instead he just kept him on the bench for months.

Remember I said that those youth players will cannibalise one another. There are just too many of them playing similar or the same positions.

If one accepts that Mainoo and Mejbri both have more natural talent than Iqbal then there isn’t just enough team slots for them to develop.

Charlie Savage will also be offloaded. Mainoo will remain. Mejbri is the one that is uncertain for now. He too is getting to make or mar time.

Next season Gore and Hansen-Aaroen will be on the clock. Probably a loan and then by 2024 decision time will be close.
Is Mejbri and Mainoo truly better than Iqbal? I thought Iqbal was highly rated in the youth team?

that guy is better than uzoho

Uzoho wey no good with em feet, pass ball to him em go play am like who gets 2 left legs.

The new guy from Israeli has the qualities of a modern day goal minder. Though he is still raw but under the right tutelage he may be the next Vincent enyeama
I agree, if the guy continues to improve, he can become a proper modern day GK. But presently, he's below Uzoho. Uzoho has faced some pretty fierce attacks and came out tops.

Well you are right but Enyeama used friendly match against Kenya to show he was ready and he capped it with solid performance against England in WC,just second capped…..One thing I noticed about Adeleye was his ball playing from the back.It is a pity tall keepers like Okoye and Maduka are not convincing.
Okoye and Uzoho are competing for who can disappoint Nigerians more. Just when we think one is better than the other, he fumbles.

The new guy needs a few more game to assess him better.

Okoye maybe, but he has not shown enough yet to be regarded better than Uzoho. Let's see how good he his when he face powerhouses that'll actually test him e.g Brazil.

That last game was initially meant to be played this weekend. This weekend was meant to be the end of qualifiers.

However the AFCON was shifted to January and the last game was then moved to September.
Ok, I understand now. Thanks

For Bruno - Hassem Aouar
For Rashford - Harvey Barnes of Lei City
What most of us here know how to do is criticize, switch with Ten Hag and Man U will be In division 3.

Barnes that's not significantly better than Garnacho.

We need someone who can retain possession boss. He must go
I know it, you know it, everyone knows it that there's no way ETH or Man UTD will sell Bruno. He's top 2 if not our most important player and 90% of all clubs will take him in their team in an instant!

We all saw how well the players retained possession when he didn't play away at Sevilla.

Glaringly Bruno's not perfect and needs to improve in some areas, but he's not in any way or form the problem of this team.

Like someone rightly said, you don't value what you have until you lose it. Imagine a guy here arguing that Eriksen has been more important for the team than Bruno this season, then you ask him in what metric and he starts beating about the bush. Not to take anything from Eriksen's contributions though. He has also been immense.
